The hip-hop community is reacting to the death of rapper XXXTentacion who was shot and killed in Miami on Monday (June 18).

Artists like Chris Brown, Kanye West, J. Cole, Lil Yachty, Ski Mask The Slump God, Meek Mill, Lil Xan, 2 Chainz, Tekashi 6ix9ine, and Juicy J are just a few names who shared their reaction and send their condolences to XXXTentacion‘s family and friends. “Rest in peace I never told you how much you inspired me when you were here thank you for existing,” Kanye wrote on Twitter.

“This got me f**ked up. RIP X. Enormous talent and limitless potential and a strong desire to be a better person. God bless his family, friends and fans,” J. Cole tweeted. XXXtentacion was age 20 at the time of his death which sent shock-waves throughout the hip hop community. The Broward County Sheriff Department is investigating the crime as a homicide but so far no arrest has been made.

Chris Brown first announced the summer tour on Instagram in March of this year and now he gave them a reminder that the tour gets underway on Tuesday night (June 19) at the White River Amphitheatre in Seattle before climaxing on August 4th in Las Vegas. The tour is in support of Breezy’s massive 46-track album which was released in December. The R&B singer later added an additional 12 tracks to the project.

It’s unclear if Rich The Kid will be joining Chris Brown on the tour since he was hospitalized over the weekend following a home invasion involving his girlfriend Tori Brixx last week Friday morning. Armed men broke into Brixx’s Los Angeles home where Rich was staying with her and beat the two of them to a pulp and took a large amount of cash and jewelry.

XXXTentacion may have predicted his untimely death in his last Instagram Live video.

The hip-hop community is still mourning the shocking death of South Florida rapper XXXTentacion, born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, who was shot and killed on Monday (June 18th) in Miami. The “Look At Me” rapper often go on Instagram Live to talk to his fans while encouraging them to stay positive and do good, despite his controversial image. The 20-year-old star was in the process of turning his life around and this weekend he was planning to host a charity concert in his community.

In his last Instagram Live video, XXXTentacion spoke about his fears of dying too young, but says he will at least know that his music and his message will live on. “If I’m going to die or ever be a sacrifice, I want to make sure that my life made at least five million kids happy or they found some sort of answers or resolve in my life regardless of the negative around my name, regardless of the bad things people say to me,” XXXTentacion told his fans.

XXXTentacion has been battling depression and often raps about his struggles in his music. Earlier this year he released a single titled “SAD!” which became a massive hit among the young fan base in hip-hop. “Do not let your depression make you,” X said in the clip. “Do not let your body define your soul, let your soul find your body. Your mind is limitless. You are worth more than you can believe. All you have to do is dream.”

XXXTentacion is of Jamaican descent through his father who is a Jamaican from Kingston. Since learning of his death, a lot of local artists including Shenseea and Tommy Lee Sparta have shared their reactions.

At the time of his death, XXXTentacion was working on his next album. He was shopping for a motorcycle just moments before an armed man pulled up beside his sports car and shot him multiple times.

A woman has described how she was left devastated and in floods of tears when none of her friends turned up to her gender reveal party. 

The 20-year-old woman, who is 17 weeks pregnant, had planned an afternoon with a buffet and decorations, inviting 11 people to the party. But she was left heartbroken hours after it was set to start as she was left still waiting for people turn up. 

Writing on the parenting website NetMums, she said: ‘So I’m 20 and I’m 17 weeks, I hosted a gender reveal at the weekend and was expecting around 11 guests (after cancellations), it was only at my house and I invited people that I feel genuinely close to. 

‘It got to the starting time (3pm) and my friend who helped me prep and clean my house were eagerly waiting for people to show, at 3.30 my other friend who already knows the gender (so both of them knew already) arrived as her bus was late.

‘Time kept ticking so I texted my close friend asking when she was due, no reply. ‘It got to four and no one had arrived still. 

I spent the last of my money for the month on arranging this party, getting decorations and food and put on a full on mini buffet, and not one of the 10 people told me until 3/4/5pm that they couldn’t make it. 

‘Two of my ‘friends’ showed up at 5 after I’d spent an hour crying, and then messaged me complaining I never said thank you for the cake they’d made (I said plenty of other nice things about it just forgot to say thank you as I was distressed).

‘It ended up being a gathering where all of the people except me were drinking and we watched tv. ‘The girl who didn’t text me back until 4 saying “I can come now” by which point I was so upset I told her not to bother (this person has no job, and she’s pregnant herself so surely she would understand how important this is to me?) even started arguing with me for being upset saying “I offered to come so don’t paint me with the same brush” and that I shouldn’t expect people to ‘turn up on the dot’. 

I don’t have any family support and I was relying on my friends and felt completely heartbroken. ‘Am I wrong to be so bothered by it? I genuinely want to cut everyone who didn’t bother off even if they’e messaged me since, I feel like if they can’t put aside two hours of time to celebrate my baby why should they have the liberty of calling themselves ‘auntie’ or ‘uncle’ despite clearly no support from them. 

‘I’m still shook over it, my support network is literally at 3 people! I feel so isolated as I’m going to be a single mum and I have no one.” Other mums on the site were very supportive and shared their outrage at her mates.

Jeremy Meeks is gonna have his own modern family after striking a deal with his ex-wife that gives him primary custody of their 9-year-old son, and gives her a hefty sum of money ... TMZ has learned. 

Sources tell us the "hot felon" -- turned "still-hot ex-felon" -- and Melissa Meeks reached the agreement shortly after their divorce was finalized earlier this month. Under the terms, we're told, Jeremy gets primary physical custody of Jeremy Jr. and Melissa will get a check ... somewhere in the 6-figure range.

As we reported, Jeremy and Melissa's original divorce deal had her getting primary physical custody with a 70/30 split in time with each parent. They've flipped that under the new deal and, starting this summer, Jr. will be living in the U.K. with Dad and his gf, Chloe Green.

We're told Jeremy and Chloe have already enrolled Jr. in a private school he'll begin attending in the fall.

The new arrangement allows Jeremy to merge both of his families. Remember, he and Chloe -- the Topshop heiress -- just had a baby of their own.

Now, little Jayden Meeks-Green will grow up with his big bro. 

UPDATE: FGB Duck posted a video of himself denying that he got shot.

Rapper FBG Duck was reportedly shot and injured in South Side of Chicago earlier today. Sources told Urban Islandz today that the rapper was struck by a bullet in his shoulder and his friend, Can’t Get Right, was killed during the shooting incident. We will update you as more details become available on this situation, but we’re told that the rapper is okay and he was on Instagram Live moments ago talking about the incident.

FBG Duck is a rising rapper in the Chicago rap scene and is best known for his song “Slide” which was released earlier this year. He also has a new mixtape out titled “Look At Me 2.” Just this week, FBG Duck got into a beef with New York rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine. The two had a heated back-and-forth on social media that saw Duck threatening to run up on 6ix9ine on sight. So you can expect some more trolling from the rainbow-haired rapper after getting this piece of news.

FBG Duck’s older brother FBG Brick was shot and killed in July last year in another shooting incident in the South Side of Chicago.

Beyonce and JAY-Z abruptly dropped their new joint album “Everything Is Love.”

On Saturday afternoon, Beyonce surprised us all when she posted a clip on her Instagram of her and JAY-Z’s upcoming music video. She then posted the cover of their new joint album titled “Everything Is Love.” Beyonce and JAY-Z have been working on the album for the past year and after kicking off their tour a week ago, fans had no idea that the hip hop power couple would be dropping the new album. You can now stream the project exclusively on TIDAL.

Bey and Hov told their fans on stage at their London show of their “On The Run II” tour that the album is out now. The crowd went wild and everyone immediately popped out their phones to see if they can grab a copy of the project.

Beyonce and JAY-Z were in Jamaica in March shooting a music video for one of the singles off the album. That track is a reggae-flavored single titled “Summer.” The couple drew a large crowd in Bob Marley’s old neighborhood of Trench Town as they rode a motorcycle through the streets with their film crew.

Here are the clips that Beyonce posted on Instagram. The snippet features Migos’ Quavo providing some ad-libs while Queen Bey spits, “Stack my money fast we go (fast, fast), Fast like a Lambo, Jumping out the stage, Crowd better savor it, I can’t believe we made it.”

This is the horrifying moment a woman was cut from a 27ft python after being eaten alive while she was gardening.

Wa Tiba, 54, a mother-of-two, was last seen on Thursday evening at 6.45pm when she went out to do some gardening. 

But her children became concerned when there was no sign of her the next morning at their home in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. 

They began looking for her at 6am and later found her sandals, machete and torch around 30 metres from a patch of bushes that appeared ruffled.

Wa Tiba’s sons then made a chilling discovery – an enormous python lounged on the ground barely able to move due to an enormous bulge in its belly after it had swallowed the housewife head first. 

Resident Ayu Kartika said: ‘Everybody was crying, everybody was shocked. The poor woman. This is like a horror movie. People are terrified. We are scared to go outside. We can only pray for a safety.’ 

The frantic lads called police and by 9am hundreds of villagers had gathered round the patch of grass in the remote Mabolu Village in the Lohia Regency of Muna province. Shocking footage captured the moment the snake’s skin was sliced open to reveal the slime-covered corpse of the housewife.

She was still wearing her brown leggings and dark red top. The knife that Wa Tiba had gone out with the previous evening was found on the floor – suggesting she had dropped it after being struck with deadly power by the killer python. 

Her head was towards the snake’s tail and her feet at its mouth – showing that she had been swallowed head first. 

Police superintendent Agung Ramos from the Muna district Indonesian National Police said Wa Tiba had gone out to check her garden the previous evening and never returned.

He said: ‘Children and residents had been looking for Wa after she did not return home. Some items belonging to victim, sandals, machete, and flashlights, were found but the victim was not there.

‘The family then reported this to the police and the search reached its conclusion at 9am. Residents found a python that looked like it was unable to move. 

Residents then suspected the snake swallowed Wa Tiba. ‘People took the snake into the village and started splitting the snake. The suspicions were true and there was a body in tact inside the snake. Unfortunately the victim was lifeless.’ 

Wa Tiba had a traditional burial ceremony later that afternoon in keeping with traditional religious customs.

A taxi has crashed into a crowd of World Cup fans in central Moscow, leaving eight people reportedly injured. 

According to Russian media, the crowd was made up of Mexican fans waiting to watch their team play Germany tomorrow. They were standing on a pavement near Red Square, according to police in Moscow. 

The driver has been arrested after reportedly trying to flee the scene. There were no immediate details on how badly they were injured.

The incident happened on Ilinka Street, about 650ft from the Red Square and Moscow’s famous GUM shopping arcade. 

Moscow Police has said the man likely lost control of the vehicle. The Moscow Traffic Authority says the taxi driver has a Kyrgyzstan driving licence.

Pictures on social media show a taxi with its front bumper completely ripped off, and several ambulances at the scene. 

Thousands of World Cup fans have descended on Moscow for the tournament. It’s just one of 11 Russian cities playing host to games this summer.

Cardi B posted the cover photo on her Instagram page on Friday telling her fans that she couldn’t keep it a secret any longer. Seems she couldn’t contained her excitement about this one. The pic shows Offset kissing his baby mama baby bump as she shows off her figure ina black robe, while he wears a red velvet outfit.

“I guess it was too much to ask to wait until the official July release of our [Rolling Stone] cover!” she wrote. “This cover is so special to me and means so much! Thank you to everyone who helped put this amazing cover together! Even tho it was leaked and suppose to be In gray f**k it.”

“My daughter made it to the Rollin Stone cove,” Cardi B added. In their spread, the couple opened up about how they met and about some recent cheating allegations and if they will have more kids. Both Offset and Cardi B are currently living in Atlanta and she is expected to give birth sometime within the next few weeks.

Offset and Cardi B are currently engaged after the Migos rapper proposed to her last October on stage at the Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia. The couple says they will start planning their wedding date after welcoming their baby girl.

These heart-breaking images show a four-year-old girl who has been so badly beaten by her father than she can barely open her eyes. 

The youngster was also chained up in a toilet and forced to do laundry in a tragic case that has been likened to the story of Cinderella. 

The little girl was found in near darkness with both hands inside a plastic wash basin, scrubbing her father’s clothes.

The shocking pictures were taken by a visiting relative and show her face badly bruised and swollen. There also appear to be burn marks left by cigarettes on her back. 

The unnamed relative said: ‘[Her father] regularly chains her up in the toilet before leaving the house at 6 or 7am, only returning at 10 or 11pm to feed her.’

They said the father was an alcoholic. Within an hour of receiving a report of abuse, the local authorities went to the house in Qingzhen in Guiyang, capital of China’s south-western Guizhou province. 

The father, who is believed to work as a digger driver, has been arrested and the girl is currently receiving treatment in hospital.

A school has put together a ‘wish list’ for parents to help purchase supplies including pens, pencils and toilet paper. 

St Edmund Campion Catholic Primary School on Altwood Road, sent a link to the list of 17 items to parents on Monday.

The school, which has 363 children on its register and is in Theresa May’s constituency, also included requests for blu-tack, cellotape and A3 paper, with the list adding a ‘never-ending supply’ of toilet paper was required. 

Catherine del Campo wrote on Twitter: ‘In your constituency, @theresa-may, a school not just asking parents for extras, but basic essentials. 

As well as loo roll, I’ve sent some plasters. ‘I thought about sending some to @DamianHinds too, but they didn’t have one big enough for the gaping hole in the education budget.’

The school told the paper that it had lost £70,000 after the Government decided to reduce the Education Services grant.

 Announcing the new funding formula last July, then education secretary Justine Greening said the current system was ‘unfair’, adding: ‘The national funding formula will deliver higher per pupil funding in respect of every school, and in every local area.’

The schools business manager said they weren’t the only place doing it. She said: ‘This should all be dealt with by the Government, but unfortunately it is not. What they are providing is inadequate. 

‘St Edmund’s costs have increased and yet our funding has gone down. We’ll get less in the 2018-19 year than we did in 2017-18. Luckily we have a fantastic support network of parents.

‘I think it’s the same in any school, having to manage finances carefully and we have to consider all of our expenditure. 

‘It is so we can continue to provide an excellent education for the children. We are lucky here, many schools are having to cut back. It’s all voluntary here, nothing will ever be compulsory.

‘I saw the idea for the wish list somewhere else and when I suggested it, there was no resistance from the headteacher, Patricia Opalko. 

‘The only feedback we have had from the parents was positive. We sent out the list on Monday and on Tuesday we had a big box arrive. ‘We’ve had people buy toilet rolls, Blu-Tack, pens, just things on the list.. 

It’s probably something we will keep doing. ‘There will be a time when we start looking at resources for next year and some of them are not cheap. We need these things to be able to teach the children.’

French Montana finally gets his United States Citizen and he is popping some champagne.

Montana, who has a new track with Remy Ma, posted a video on Instagram Live of himself celebrating his U.S. Citizenship while reciting the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance. For those of you who may not know about French Montana‘s background, he was born in Rabat, Morroco and immigrated to the U.S. with his family when he was 13 years old. He has been living in the Bronx since he was a teenager and that’s where he was introduced to hip hop and began a career in rap.

Seems the Bad Boy rapper later hit the club scene to celebrate the occasion. Check out his new album Jungle Rules now in stores and look out for his collaboration with dancehall artist Alkaline.

50 Cent win big in Teairra Mari’s ongoing revenge porn case against him.

A judge denies Teairra Mari‘s request for a restraining order against 50 Cent when the case was aired in court on Thursday. The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star is being represented by celebrity attorney Lisa Bloom who brought the case against the G-Unit rapper. Mari is going after both 50 Cent and her ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad for leaking some explicit photos of her on social media.

The photos were first posted on her Instagram page in what was a hacking case, she said. Teairra Mari is blaming her ex-boyfriend for the hacking and leaking. 50 Cent got a hold of the photos and posted them on his IG and that’s how he became a part of her revenge porn case.

According to TMZ, Bloom said that the judge denied the request for a restraining order “because she was not convinced that the photo 50 Cent posted, with ejaculate on our client’s face, showed her ‘engaging’ in a sexual act.”

That is strange since the photos clearly depict Teairra Mari with semen on her face. Nevertheless, 50 Cent clearly win first round of this case, but that doesn’t mean that Mari won’t sue him using the revenge porn law. The rapper has not yet responded but you can expect some trolling to come later just like he did last month when he posted this photo of himself and Gloria Allred on Instagram.
