Coachella style might be somewhat of a predictable uniform these days (denim cut-offs, crop top and some sort of faux hippie headpiece), but Rihanna as ever refused to conform to the norm this weekend.
The singer wore four very different looks at the Californian festival, from an all-white 60s inspired leather look decorated with buckles to a Y Project camel-coloured suede one-piece with thigh-high boots. However, in a bid to go incognito yesterday, Rihanna turned to a tactic she employed at 2017 Coachella - a Gucci mask.
Showing a spectacular disregard to the hot desert weather, the singer wore a knit Gucci balaclava, designed as a reference to a Japanese dance-drama called Kabuki where performers wear elaborate, theatrical make-up. The mask was then festooned with dazzling jewels.
