I'm 'purely happy' in my marriage -Kanye West

by , in

Kanye West feels ''purely happy'' to be married to Kim Kardashian West.
The 40-year-old rapper and the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star - who have four-year-old daughter North, two-year-old son Saint, and four-month-old daughter Chicago together - celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on Thursday (24.05.18), and Kanye took to social media to gush over his partner.
In one tweet, he wrote: ''gratitude and happiness best describe what my wife means to me. I'm deeply grateful and purely happy (sic)''
He also shared a video clip of his 37-year-old spouse dancing to Selena song 'Bidi Bidi Bom Bom', which was filmed during Halloween last year when Kim dressed up as the late singer.
The clip was captioned with several fire emojis, and Kanye wrote: ''This is one of my favorite moments.''
Meanwhile, Kim also shared a loving tribute to her husband on social media, when she took to both Twitter and Instagram to share a picture from their wedding day.
She wrote in the sweet caption: ''4 years down and forever to go.... Thank you babe for giving me our family and caring so much about us. Thank you for inspiring me on a daily, I'm so lucky. I can't wait for forever... Happy Anniversary (sic)''
The couple's four-year anniversary comes as Kim revealed recently that she would be open to the idea of having a fourth child with the 'Heartless' rapper.
Kim and Kanye used a surrogate mother for their youngest daughter Chicago after Kim was advised against getting pregnant again, and the beauty ''enjoyed'' the surrogacy process so much she's considering using one again to have a fourth child.
She said: ''I would have maybe one more [child]. I really, really enjoyed the surrogacy process. I will say, when it came to the breastfeeding time, I was like, 'Okay, this is the best decision I ever made.'
''It's a game changer, having to not go through [nursing] every few hours. I can spend so much more time with the older kids and getting them used to the baby.''

Ariana Grande shows new tattoo in honour of Manchester terror attack victims

by , in

Ariana Grade has shared a picture of her new tattoo, dedicated to the victims and survivors of the Manchester terror attack. The singer marked the one-year anniversary by getting an inking of a bee, which is a symbol of Manchester's industrial past. Alongside the Instagram snap, the 24-year-old simply wrote, "forever". The Manchester Arena bombing attack killed 22 innocent concert-goers and injured dozens more in May 2017. Although Ariana flew back to America following the tragedy, the pop star returned to the scene a few days later to hold a benefit concert, One Love Manchester, before she returned to her Dangerous Woman tour.

Earlier this week, Ariana tweeted an emotional tribute on the anniversary to honour the victims. "Thinking of you all today and every day," she wrote. "I love you with all of me and am sending you all of the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day."

Fans have all taken to social media to heap praise on the star's latest gesture, with one writing: "I'm so beyond proud over you girl." Another said: "Thank you for being the absolutely best idol and role model we could ever ask for." A third post read: "So much administration for this girl."

The bee tattoo has long been a symbol of Manchester, with people across the city getting them to show their solidarity with the victims. Shortly after the attack, tattoo artists in the area launched an appeal to raise money for those who were affected. Artists have offered them for £50, with all of the profits going to the Crowdfunder appeal. Ariana has since been made an honorary citizen of Manchester after she returned to the city to perform the benefit concert to raise money for the victims and their families.

Previously sharing a screenshot of the news on her Instagram account, the singer wrote: "I don't know what to say. Words don't suffice. I'm moved and honoured. My heart is very much still there. I love you. Thank you."

Nicki Minaj says her album Queen is inspired by Princess Diana

by , in

Nicki Minaj took to Instagram on Thursday to announce her forthcoming album Queen will be available August 10, using a 1995 clip of Princess Diana to showcase the tone of the upcoming release.
The Grammy-nominated artist, 35, wrote: '8|10|18 #Queen THE ALBUM ~ It’s the strength that causes the confusion & fear.

'Why is she strong? Where does she get it from? Where is she going to use it? #WhyDoThePublicStillSupportHer God bless this woman’s legacy & every woman who’s ever felt like this.'

In the clip, an exchange on BBC1 Panorama, the late princess - who died at 36 when she was killed in a car crash - opened up about misconceptions the public had of her.
Diana said some people misunderstood her as 'a threat of some kind,' adding, 'I'm here to do good, I am not a destructive person.'

When asked why she felt she was viewed as a threat by some people, the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry replied, 'I think very strong woman in history had to walk down a similar path. It's the strength. That causes the confusion and the fear.'

Lily Allen shares pic of her vagina, promoting new album No Shame at the same time

by , in

A troll tried to take down Lily Allen by posting a picture of the singer’s vagina on Twitter, and Lily expertly used it to promote her album. And why not? If it can birth three kids it might as well help her sell some records.

The singer was confronted by a follower on Twitter with a picture of herself on stage without wearing any underwear, and instead of crumbling in a ball of embarrassment, Lily hit the troll head on by being proud of her ‘2014 neatly trimmed vagina’.

She shared the snap to her own 5.92million followers, proudly pointing out that she’d given birth to three children – two with her former husband, and she suffered a tragic stillbirth four years ago. And at the same time she excellently used the image to promote new album No Shame.

In response to the troll’s attempt at shaming, Lily wrote: ‘LOOK AT MY 2014 NEATLY TRIMMED VAGINA, 3 HUMANS CAME OUT OF THERE’ along with a link to the picture.

And then another photo cropped up, this one captioned by the fan as ‘Growler alert’. So Lily continued the album promotion. #NoShame.

Fans were pretty impressed with her response to the images, with one confessing she’d become her #VaginaIdol. ‘Going to actually take this photo to my waxer next time if that’s okay with you? #VaginaIdol,’ they wrote.

One questioned if it was a PR stunt: ‘My gf thinks this is a PR campaign (guerrilla marketing stuff). Not a fake pic but that Misty is a plant. Discuss/dispute?’ To which Lily explained that she hadn’t been behind the pic leak. ‘Sadly,no. I’ll take it tho,’ she said.

And instead of turning on Lily like the original poster might have hoped, her fans questioned what they were trying to get at: ‘I’m pretty sure she knows what it looks like, pal. What’s your point?’

Lily’s album No Shame is out 8 June and is her first release since Sheezus in 2014. ‘I think that the idea going into Sheezus was really well-intentioned,’ she told Stereogum. ‘I think I was suffering from postnatal depression when I started writing it, and I think I was having an identity crisis, that I did not know I was a new mum.

‘I felt like I needed to be a pop star to pay my bills, and I didn’t feel like that, so I did what I thought pop stars should do, and it was very wrong.’ No Shame is out 8 June.

Morgan Freeman responds to allegations of sexual harassment: ‘I apologise to anyone who felt disrespected’

by , in

Morgan Freeman has responded to allegations of sexual harassment, after multiple women came forward claiming inappropriate behaviour by the actor. Earlier today, eight allegations came to light from women after sixteen people spoke to CNN, with eight accusing the 80-year-old of harassment and eight people claiming that they witnessed Freeman’s alleged behaviour.

In a statement released by his publicist on Thursday afternoon, Morgan apologised to anyone who ‘felt uncomfortable or disrespected’ by him.

He said: ‘Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy.

‘I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected – that was never my intent.’ One woman alleged that while working as a production assistant on the film Going In Style, starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin, in 2015, Freeman subjected her to unwanted touching and comments about her clothes and body.

She claimed that on one occasion, the actor ‘kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear’, and he became ‘freaked out’ when Arkin told him to stop. Another woman who worked on the set of Now You See Me in 2012 said: ‘He did comment on our bodies…

We knew that if he was coming by … not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted.’ Four people making the allegations worked in production on sets with Freeman over the past decade; they said they didn’t report his alleged behaviour as they feared for their jobs.

A number of the allegations referred to the environment at Revelations Entertainment, his production company with Lori McCreary.

Donald Trump spells Kim Jong-un’s name wrong in tweet announcing canceled meeting

by , in

Donald Trump has misspelt North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s name wrong in a tweet announcing the cancellation of their planned summit. The president shared a grab of the letter he sent to Kim Thursday, and captioned it: ‘Sadly, I was forced to cancel the Summit Meeting in Singapore with Kim Jung Un.’

Trump’s spelling blunder came days after he misspelt FLOTUS Melania’s name wrong on Twitter, calling his wife ‘Melanie’ as he welcomed her home from hospital following a kidney procedure.

He canceled the planned June 12 meeting after North Korea’s vice foreign minister Choe Son Hui called US Vice President Mike Pence ‘stupid and ignorant’ for warning the dictatorship could end-up like war-torn Libya.

Trump also issued a veiled threat to Kim, saying: ‘You talk about your nuclear capabilities, but ours are so massive and powerful that I pray they will never be used.’

Trump’s letter also conceded that the pair had made progress, thanked him for releasing American hostages in North Korea, and said he hoped they could rearrange the meeting for a later date. He tweeted a copy of it shortly after 11am EST, and spelt the North Korean leader’s name wrong, writing: ‘Sadly, I was forced to cancel the Summit meeting in Singapore with Kim Jung uN.’

It was read by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo – who met Kim earlier this month – to the Senate moments after Trump published it. Mr Pompeo added that the summit was canceled because North Korea did not respond to repeated US requests to discuss the logistics of the meeting, and that the country’s attitude began to sour after he secured the release of three American prisoners held there during his visit.

Whistleblower ‘taped to chair and told “This is what you get when you speak out”‘

by , in

A government worker who reported an alleged culture of bullying claims she was tied to her office chair and gagged by colleagues as revenge. In a shocking image allegedly taken by one of the abusers, DeeAnn Fitzpatrick is seen taped to where she sat with her arms pinned by her sides.

She claims she was the victim of racist and misogynist bullying while working at a government agency for fisheries in Scotland. In evidence to a tribunal, Canadian national Ms Fitzpatrick, 49, claims she was told: ‘This is what you get when you speak out against the boys.’

The harassment allegedly took place in 2010 while she was working at Marine Scotland’s office in Scrabster on the far north Caithness coast.

She told the tribunal that over a period of ten years she was subject to bullying, including being mocked about her miscarriage and told some staff didn’t want ‘a woman, especially a foreign woman’. While working there she says she heard extreme racist language and threatening behaviour to female staff.

She says she was also sent anonymous Valentine’s calling her a ‘troll’ and saying ‘we miss you, not’. The photo of her being taped up was obtained by the BBC. However, as it was taken more than three years before she brought her employment case the tribunal won’t make a judgement on it.

Her sister-in-law Sherry Fitzpatrick told the BBC she wanted this photograph to be circulated: ‘We were horrified. We were sickened. We worry about what this has done to her.

A woman who complained of a racist and misogynistic culture in a Scottish government agency claims she was taped to a chair and gagged by two male colleagues as a warning to keep quiet. DeeAnn Fitzpatrick said the restraint took place amid years of bullying and harassment at Marine Scotland's Scrabster office. The fisheries officer has taken her case to an employment tribunal. BBC Scotland has obtained a photo of the restraint incident. It was taken by one of the men allegedly responsible. Ongoing tribunal Ms Fitzpatrick, a Canadian national, said it happened in 2010 as a result of her blowing the whistle on a threatening and misogynistic culture at Marine Scotland's office in Scrabster, on the far north Caithness coast. In evidence to her ongoing tribunal, she said that one of the men involved, fisheries officer Reid Anderson, told her: "This is what you get when you speak out against the boys."

‘She’s not giving up and now her family is behind her, and we’re not giving up until someone is made accountable for their actions.’ Jody Paske, one of the men accused by DeAnn, told the BBC: ‘These are false allegations.

I can’t remember the event you mention, but if it did happen, it would have been office banter. Just a craic. Certainly nothing to do with abuse.’ DeAnn, who has been signed off since the death of her father, faces a disciplinary hearing herself at the end of May, accused of being ‘rude and overzealous’ at work.

She claims this was engineered to get rid of her and is supported in this by Highlands and Islands MSP Rhoda Grant, who said: ‘They [Ms Fitzpatrick’s employers] just won’t listen. So their way of resolving it is actually getting the woman out of the workplace, getting the woman out of the man’s job.’

The Scottish Government said: ‘The Scottish Government have clear standards of behaviour which apply to all staff. ‘Any concerns raised by staff are taken seriously and investigated fully.’

Morgan Freeman accused of sexual harassment by eight women

Morgan Freeman has been accused of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour by eight women. Sixteen people spoke to CNN, with eight women accusing the 80-year-old of harassment and eight people claiming that they witnessed Freeman’s alleged behaviour.

One woman alleged that while working as a production assistant on the film Going In Style, starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin, in 2015, Freeman subjected her to unwanted touching and comments about her clothes and body.

She claimed that on one occasion, the actor ‘kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear’, and he became ‘freaked out’ when Arkin told him to stop.

Another woman who worked on the set of Now You See Me in 2012 said: ‘He did comment on our bodies… We knew that if he was coming by … not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that [were] fitted.’

Four people making the allegations worked in production on sets with Freeman over the past decade; they said they didn’t report his alleged behaviour as they feared for their jobs.

A number of the allegations referred to the environment at Revelations Entertainment, his production company with Lori McCreary. Six former staff members at the company told CNN that they allegedly witnessed ‘questionable behaviour’ from Freeman around women, including making sexual comments and ‘an incident of unsolicited touching’.

A woman who worked as a manager at the company said that the Oscar-winner would ‘come over to my desk to say hi and he’d just stand there and stare at me. He would stare at my breasts.’ The website also alleges that Freeman was inappropriate towards some female reporters while promoting his films.

Chicago WGN-TV’s entertainment producer Tyra Martin alleged that once, she pulled down her skirt while standing up after an interview with Freeman, to which the actor said: ‘Oh, don’t pull it down now.’

Freeman gave no statement to CNN.

Prince Harry and ex Chelsy Davy "had tearful final phone call before royal wedding"

by , in

Prince Harry had a tearful phone call with one of his ex-girlfriends just days before his wedding, it has been claimed.
Before his wedding to Meghan Markle, Harry is said to have spoken to Chelsy Davy, who he dated on and off for seven years. They had to break up because Chelsy was always uncomfortable with the spotlight that dating Harry placed on her.

During the final conversation, they both "acknowledged Harry was moving on". According to Vanity Fair, the phone call between Harry and Chelsy took place in the run-up to the lavish wedding.

A friend is reported to have said:
It was their final call, a parting call in which they both acknowledged Harry was moving on.
Chelsy was quite emotional about it all, she was in tears and almost didn’t go to the wedding.
In the end, she went and promised Harry she wouldn’t try and gatecrash the party.
Chelsy was Harry’s first serious girlfriend and they had an on-off relationship between 2004 and 2011. Zimbabwean-born Chelsy met Harry in Cape Town, South Africa, during Harry’s gap year. She is said to have moved to Leeds University to study law to become closer to him. But Chelsy was always uncomfortable in the spotlight so she had to move on.

Robert De Niro says Donald Trump is banned from Nobu restaurants worldwide

by , in

Actor and co-owner of the Nobu restaurant empire,  Robert DeNiro, who is a frequent critic of President Trump, says he has banned him from all of his Nobu restaurants all over the world including one in Washington, D.C.
The 74-year-old legendary actor revealed this to MailOnline while discussing life as a superstar, restaurateur and hotelier with fellow founders Nobu Matsuhisa and Meir Teper during the launching of the new Nobu Marbella Resort last week.
When asked who his dream dinner guest would be, Robert insisted he would never let Trump into any of the Nobu restaurants.
According to him: 'I don't care what he likes. If he walked into a restaurant I was in - I'd walk out.'
But the restaurant chain’s chef and co-owner, Nobu Matsuhisa, told the Daily Mail he’d rather see the president, 71, and the screen legend dine together
“It’s my dream for Trump to sit next to Bob,” Matsuhisa told the Daily Mail. “To make them sushi!”
De Niro has frequently spoken out against Trump in the past. In January, the actor called him a "f***ing fool, " and in March, DeNiro called the president  an “idiot” who “lacks any sense of humanity or compassion.”

Mark Zuckerberg meets French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss France as an innovation centre for Europe

by , in

Mark Zuckerberg and French President Emmanuel Macron, both men who achieved so much at a young age, met to talk about  France as an innovation center for Europe.
Macron, 40, hosted Facebook CEO Zuckerberg, 34, and other tech leaders at the Tech for Good summit in Paris on Wednesday.

Macron, who is keen for his country to become a "startup nation", hosted the gathering but demanded that tech companies pay their fair share in tax if they want to be part of France's digital future. He told heavy-hitters at the summit, including the Facebook boss, that he favoured "tough regulations".

Zuckerberg later took to Instagram to talk about his meeting with Macron.
He wrote:
Today I met with President Macron in Paris. We had a great conversation about France as an innovation center for Europe -- given the strong engineering talent here and culture of entrepreneurship. We've seen this first hand with our major artificial intelligence lab and our Startup Garage at Station F here in Paris. They are both doing incredibly interesting work -- and it's why we will continue to invest in France in the years ahead. Thank you to President Macron for hosting me.

Trump can’t block his critics on Twitter, US judge rules

by , in

US President Donald Trump cannot legally block Twitter users who disagree with him, a federal judge ruled on May 23 in a case with potentially far-reaching implications for social media use by public officials.
Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald said the blocking of Trump critics – which prevents them from seeing and interacting with the president’s tweets – violated the free speech rights of those users guaranteed in the Constitution’s First Amendment.
In a 75-page opinion, the New York federal judge said the users “were indisputably blocked as a result of viewpoint discrimination” and that this was “impermissible under the First Amendment”.
The ruling comes in response to a lawsuit filed by a group of Twitter users and the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University.
The judge acknowledged that even though the president has certain free speech rights, he cannot violate the rights of other Twitter users.
“While we must recognise, and are sensitive to, the president’s personal First Amendment rights, he cannot exercise those rights in a way that infringes the corresponding First Amendment rights of those who have criticised him,” she said in her opinion.
Buchwald stopped short of accepting the request for an injunction against Trump and his social media aide, Dan Scavino, who was also named in the complaint, saying she expected the White House to abide by her “declaratory” ruling.
Not above the law
“Because no government official is above the law and because all government officials are presumed to follow the law once the judiciary has said what the law is, we must assume that the president and Scavino will remedy the blocking we have held to be unconstitutional,” she wrote.
The White House directed queries to the Department of Justice, where a spokeswoman said in a statement, “We respectfully disagree with the court’s decision and are considering our next steps.”
Jameel Jaffer, the Knight Institute’s executive director, welcomed the ruling, saying it “reflects a careful application of core First Amendment principles to government censorship on a new communications platform.”
Jaffer added in a statement, “The president’s practice of blocking critics on Twitter is pernicious and unconstitutional, and we hope this ruling will bring it to an end.”
In the lawsuit, the seven individual plaintiffs, including a University of Maryland professor, a Texas police officer and a New York comic, said they were blocked from the @realDonaldTrump account after posting tweets critical of his policies.
Although they were still able to see the tweets without logging in to Twitter, and to quote Trump’s tweets in their own messages, their comments were excluded from the threads that make up a public “conversation” involving the president and his 52 million followers.
The case could affect other social media interactions involving public officials.
The Electronic Frontier Foundation, a digital rights group which backed the lawsuit, said the case is part of a “broader issue” on how public officials use social media.
“We receive reports about how governmental officials manipulate social media comments to exclude opposing views to create the impression that hotly contested policies are not contested at all,” EFF said on Twitter after the case was filed.
The Knight Institute said it was lodging an appeal in the case of a Virginia resident blocked on Facebook by a local public official.
A supporting brief in the New York case argued that the case is important in guaranteeing political speech.
“In light of social media’s importance to modern life, President Trump’s practice of blocking individual users robs them of a singularly valuable opportunity to make their speech heard,” said the brief filed by the Georgetown University Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection.
