Several students are reported to have been killed after a shotgun-wielding shooter opened fire in a high school art class. 

A federal official told KHOU11 that there had been ‘multiple student fatalities’ at Santa Fe High School after Friday morning’s shooting, and said the gunman was a student who attended the school. 

An ABC13 helicopter saw a sheet that appeared to be covering a body around the back of Santa Fe High School after the shooting Friday morning.

They spotted the grim sight around 9:45am ET Friday morning, although neither sheriff’s deputies nor the school district have confirmed any fatalities. 

A school district spokesman said around 10:15am ET: ‘The situation is active but has been contained, there are confirmed injuries.’ 

They did not comment on the extent of the injuries. 

Sheriff’s deputies said shortly after 10am ET that the shooter has been contained, and is now believed to be in custody. 

A student in the art class said a girl was shot in the leg, and described her as being covered in blood in the immediate aftermath. 

It happened first period, with one eyewitness reporting that he heard seven shots, with a student pulling the school’s fire alarm after seeing the shotgun-wielding shooter enter the building.

The student, called Vaughn, said: ‘My friend saw a guy with a gun, so he pulled the fire alarm. 

‘I heard three shots, ran to the trees, called mom, heard four more shots. ‘There was a girl that was saw coming this way, she had a bandage around her kneecap. 

some people came and got her, some firemen.’ Vaughn also told ABC13 that the school had at least one armed resource officer, although it is not yet clear whether they fired any of the shots, or contained the shooter before SWAT teams arrived. 

Another student claimed the shooter had thrown ‘bombs’ as he began shooting. At least three life flight helicopters arrived soon after, with eight others seen being put in ambulances, with the extent of their injuries unclear. Students said they had undertaken drills to prepare for such a shooting – and that a false alarm had triggered panic in February this year.

A student called Nikki was in the class where the incident happened, and told ABC13 after: ‘There was someone that walked in with a shotgun and started shooting and this girl got shot in the leg.’ 

Fellow student Layla Butler added ‘Iwas at school in first period, the fire alarms went off. We went outside, administrators were yelling at us to get off the street.’ 

A school district spokesman said: ‘This morning an incident occurred at the high school involving an active shooter. 

‘The district has initiated a lockdown at the high school.  We will send out additional information as soon as it is available. This is a breaking news story.

Sinitta became the target of an unknown man who ripped off her weave as she arrived for a party in London earlier this week.

The singer and TV star was seen arriving at London’s Cabaret Club, but shortly after getting out of her cab, she was seen accidentally dropping her clutch bag.

But as she bent down to collect the accessory, a man from behind her viciously ripped off her weave.

While Sinitta appeared to remain composed, her friend could be seen in the background confronting the man for his strange and uncalled for behaviour.

A source close to Lorena “Patty” Hernandez told the publication that Hernandez had a “third brain bleed” and “was pronounced brain dead on Monday.”

Her husband is planning on suing Chyna for allegedly abusing his wife and not providing her with worker’s compensation.

Chyna had previously said that she was looking out for Hernandez’ children, but according to Page Six’s source, that was an alternative fact. Apparently all she did was spread the word and “reach out to her baby daddies.” The source even claims that Chyna only visted Hernandez in the hospital once, and that was only “to tell the doctors and everyone not to give out any information to anybody.”

“When I got there they didn’t even want to give me information because she gave them the order not to say anything,” the source said. “After that she never came back.”

The source claims that the family is planning on taking Hernandez off of life support Thursday.

“She’s still on life support because her husband decided to donate her organs because they were completely healthy so that she can give the gift of life to other families,” the source explained. “They’re finding the recipients now so tomorrow they’re going to take the organs.”

A smirking mother has appeared in court charged with attacking her eldest daughter by stabbing her between 50 and 70 times. 

It is alleged that Taheerah Ahmad, 39, took a pickaxe to 11-year-old’s head then set their home on fire before running away with the youngest of her three daughters.

Taheerah, who was arrested a day after Monday’s vicious attack, was said by investigators to have been upset with her children ‘because of the way they were reading and looking at her.’ 

Police reports say that she bound and gagged all three children before attacking the eldest daughter. 

The eight-year-old girl managed to help her sister, nine, escape who then went to a neighbour for help.

Police arrived to find the older daughter in the burning home while Ahmad and the youngest child had gone missing. 

The arrest report said the eldest girl fought back while Ahmad was restraining her three daughters, which prompted Ahmad to stab her an estimated ’50 to 70 times.’

The report said Ahmad also struck the girl over the head several times with a pickaxe before setting the house on fire. 

The 11-year-old, who is in a critical condition, had dozens of stab wounds to the torso along with puncture wounds to her legs, neck, hands and face, according to the report. 

The report said Ahmad wanted to burn down the residence to ‘further ensure that (the 11-year-old) was dead.’

The report says investigators also interviewed Ahmad’s 9-year-old daughter, who said her mother had held her and her sisters hostage for a week prior to the attack and ‘forced them to stay in their rooms without food or water.’ 

The girl also said her mother threatened to stab the daughters if they attempted to leave their rooms and became very upset with the girls on the day of the attack, referring to at least one of them as ‘the devil,’ according to the report.

Ahmad was being held Wednesday on complaints of arson, child abuse and assault and battery with the intent to kill. She was jailed without bond. 

Video from Tulsa television station KOTV that captures Ahmad’s arrest shows her youngest daughter, wearing a dress and a brightly-colored hat, playing in their SUV as officers led Ahmad away in handcuffs. 

Ahmad declined to comment to reporters later Tuesday as officers transported her to jail. Tulsa Police Sgt. Shane Tuell said Ahmad may never have been arrested if two women hadn’t spotted Ahmad’s vehicle in downtown Tulsa. 

One of the women, Emily Wilson, told the Tulsa World that she and a friend decided to call the police after seeing the 8-year-old girl inside the vehicle.

A woman has said she doesn’t know enough expletives to describe the people who stole her prosthetic leg while she was swimming in the River Tees. 

Kate Sunley now has a six-week wait for a new leg to be created after the custom-made limb was taken.

She was with a group of fellow swimmers in Preston Park, County Durham, when friends noticed her leg – nicknamed Pogo – had been stolen from the jetty where she left it. 

They also lost towels, shoes and other items that had been left attached to railings. 

Kate, who is recognised by the International Ice Swimming Association as the world’s first disabled female to complete the ‘Ice Mile’ race, said the suspected theft will have a huge impact upon her life.

Although she has another prosthetic, she relies upon the waterproof and lighter weight appendage to easily access swimming spots and to shower in. 

Appealing for its return, she said she believed youngsters who regularly gather in the area may have been responsible for the leg’s disappearance

Kate said: ‘I don’t think I know enough expletives to express my feelings right now but someone obviously thought it would be fun to steal my leg whilst I was swimming.’ 

Kate, who lost her leg in 1993 following knee problems, added: ‘This has come as a huge shock and it will come as a cost to the NHS. 

‘They are going to replace it but it will take six weeks to go through the process and I’ll have to go to a lot of appointments.

‘This leg is my first choice to pick up rather than go on crutches and I’m going to be without it for the foreseeable future, it’s going to be a bit of a bind.’ 

Kate, from Stockton-on Tees, added: ‘When I realised it was missing, there was absolute panic – I looked alright from the outside but was in a right state.

‘I’m going to have to live life in a completely different way for the next six weeks and won’t be able to reach a lot of the places I usually swim in. 

‘Swimming is a really important part of my life – when I’m in the water I’m not someone with one leg, I’m just like everybody else. 

‘I just hope it was kids messing around because I hate to think that somebody did this maliciously.’

The suspected theft, which happened at around 5.30pm on Monday evening, has been shared hundreds of times across social media in a show of support for the swimmer, with members of the public expressing distress and outrage over the incident. 

Kate thanked the public, her friends and contacts within the swimming community for their support as she urged anyone who knows the whereabouts of her leg to speak to the police.

The Migos rapper is currently hospitalized following a car crash on Wednesday night in Atlanta. Offset‘s muscle car was seen taken away from the crash scene on a wrecker and both himself and the car was pretty banged up. “My baby is doing ok I love you so much,” she tweeted on Thursday before adding, “Sooo grateful and happy today.”

Cardi B, who is eight months pregnant, says god is sending her boyfriend a message but she didn’t elaborate on what she thinks the message is. “Sooo grateful and happy today. God be giving messages in the weirdest way I love you [Offset],” she added on Twitter.

Offset’s car crash couldn’t come at a worst time for the couple who is expecting their first child together next month. The good news is it sounds like he will be okay and may have suffered only minor injuries. The former Love and Hip Hop star has been in the headlines a lot these days not just for her new album and her buzzing career, but also for her recent beef with Harlem rapper Azealia Banks who called her a caricature of a black woman and says hip hop lowered the bar for her.

Chris Brown sends a cryptic birthday message to his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

The actress celebrated her 30th birthday yesterday (May 17th) with her boyfriend Victor Cruz. But Chris Brown is clearly missing her and couldn’t help himself from saying something on social media. On Thursday, Brown posted a few clips from his music video “Autumn Leaves” featuring Kendrick Lamar where Karrueche played his love interest during the time they were together. Breezy clearly had a reflection on the good old days and decided to remind his ex-girlfriend.

Chris Brown has since deleted the photos after Karrueche Tran fans started calling him out on it telling him to leave her alone and move on. In one of the photos, Chris Brown kissed Karrueche’s forehead and he captioned the post with a party emoji.

Tran was for sure having a party but not with Breezy. She rings in her birthday with her boyfriend and her friends. She posted an Instagram Live video of her gang taking shots to ring in her dirty thirty.
