This year's event will be hosted by Anna Wintour in conjunction with co-chairs Rihanna, Amal Clooney and Donatella Versace with the theme Heavenly Bodies: Fashion And The Catholic Imagination.

Kim Kardashian shared a glimpse of her glam process with a single photo to Instagram

The 37-year-old reality TV star had on a black robe and was barefoot as she looked at her cell phone.

In front of her were bottle of Smart Water as well as a Starbucks cup.

The wife of Kanye West wrote a caption that read: 'Let the glam begin... Happy Met Monday.'

Others who were seen getting ready were Madonna, Cindy Crawford, Ashley Graham, Emily Ratajkowski and Katharine McPhee.

Game of Thrones Star Who Plays 'The Mountain' Wins World's Strongest Man Title

Gregor Clegane is the presumed strongest man in Westeros, and the actor who plays him on Game of Thrones, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, is officially the strongest man in the world.

The man behind “The Mountain” won the World’s Strongest Man competition in the Philippines, according to The New York Times.

After a number of second and third place finishes over the years, Björnsson, 29, took home his first title win on Sunday. The competition is set to air in the U.S. on CBS beginning in June.

The Icelandic actor’s fight to the finish involved two days of strength tests, which included pulling a truck, races while hauling anvils and other heavy objects, and, of course, overhead deadlifts. Björnsson, who stands at 6-foot-9 and weighs in around 400 lbs., posted on Instagram following the bout.

“Want to thank all of my family, friends and fans for supporting me along the way,” he wrote. “Special thanks to my coach @australianstrengthcoach and my nutritionist @stanefferding. Also want to thank my sponsors, @kjotkompani @sbdapparel @roguefitness. Congratulations to @kieliszkowskimateusz and @shawstrength for their second and third finishes!”

Björnsson also holds the world record for deadlifting 1,041 lbs. a few months ago.

Staying his size is harder than it looks, Björnsson told Men’s Fitness recently. “I need to force feed myself,” he said, describing his diet, which begins each day with “six eggs, bacon and oatmeal, followed two hours later by some sliced steak and rice.”

“It’s a full-time job to be this size,” he added.

Florida Mom and Daughter, Graduate on Same Day: 'It Was a Beautiful Moment'

When Gigi Bolt graduated high school in 1997, her then 1-year-old daughter Katherine was in the audience cheering her on. More than 20 years later, the mother-daughter duo celebrated their college graduations together, walking across the same stage on the same day.

“It was a beautiful moment. She was right by my side… It was such an honor to be able to share such a special day for my daughter with her. We’re very close,” Gigi Bolt, 38, tells PEOPLE.

“We’ve grown up together, so it was very fitting that we’d be able to walk across the stage and graduate together.”

On May 2, Gigi and 22-year-old Katherine Bolt both graduated from Florida International University, in Miami — mom with her master’s and daughter with her bachelor’s degree. Gigi says she and Katherine were excited to learn that their ceremonies would be held on the same day, and their joy only increased when, on the day of graduation, they learned they would sit right next to each other.

“We held hands and we hugged each other and just kept smiling. We were so happy to be next to each other. It was a wonderful moment,” the doting mother gushes. “They called me for the last master’s [graduate]… And then she was the first bachelor’s, so we were able to walk one after another.”

Photos from the event showed Gigi and Katherine sporting wide smiles as they posed for pictures in their caps and gowns. Gigi says that the pair celebrated their big day with a family lunch and even a party over the weekend.

Gigi gave birth to Katherine at just 16 years old, during her junior year of high school. Katherine’s father is no longer in the pair’s life.

The mom completed her bachelor’s degree in 2012 — and Katherine was at the ceremony supporting her mother. Gigi says she and Katherine have always been close.

“We’re very close and we do a lot of things together. We have a very strong bond. We make sure that we communicate with each other. She knows I love her deeply,” Gigi says.

Although Gigi does not “promote teenage pregnancy,” she says she wouldn’t change her story.

“I would never change anything about my past. I have no regrets when it comes to that. It’s been such a beautiful part of life being her mother,” she tells PEOPLE. “I adore her more than anything in the world. She’s my favorite person.”

Rita Ora really wants us to know she isn’t Beyonce’s Becky With The Good Hair

It’s long been speculated just who Becky With The Good Hair was, after Beyonce gave Jay Z one giant whalloping on the legendary album that is Lemonade (more specifically in the song Sorry).

Since then we’ve been wondering who this woman Jay Z cheated on Queen Bey was. Some thought it was Rachel Roy, the fashion designer with, arguably, good hair.

It was also rumoured to be Rita Ora, after the two worked together when Rita was part of Jay’s Roc Nation label. (Even though we all know how that ended)

However, Rita wants to make it crystal clear she isn’t the lady you should be hunting down with pitchforks (not that we’re encouraging that kind of attitude at all, just sounded like a great analogy, really).

Why? Because she believes she, despite popular opinion, doesn’t have good hair. Speaking to the Sunday Times, Rita said in regards to the long-spoken about rumours: ‘Hey, all I want to say to that is, dude, if I were BWTGH, wouldn’t I actually have to have good hair?

‘Look at it. It’s all weave and extensions.’ Going further to prove just how much she was down with ‘Yonce, she added that she won’t hear a bad word about the woman She added:

‘Nobody can ever say anything wrong about that woman in front of me. I get emotional just talking about it.

Singer, Rita Ora, suffered a major make-up fail while attending a Met Gala pre-party in New York over the weekend.

The 27-year-old 'Anywhere' hitmaker forgot to blend in her highlighter as she stepped out with a huge smear down her right cheek to the Harry Josh's star-studded bash which held at the Public Hotel.

Apart from the awkward make-up fail, Rita slayed in a matching blue, black and white patterned silk shirt with trousers ahead of the annual event today.

Rita also accessorized her look with a pair of grey snakeskin heels, black handbag and several gold necklaces.
