It’s long been speculated just who Becky With The Good Hair was, after Beyonce gave Jay Z one giant whalloping on the legendary album that is Lemonade (more specifically in the song Sorry).
Since then we’ve been wondering who this woman Jay Z cheated on Queen Bey was. Some thought it was Rachel Roy, the fashion designer with, arguably, good hair.
It was also rumoured to be Rita Ora, after the two worked together when Rita was part of Jay’s Roc Nation label. (Even though we all know how that ended)
However, Rita wants to make it crystal clear she isn’t the lady you should be hunting down with pitchforks (not that we’re encouraging that kind of attitude at all, just sounded like a great analogy, really).
Why? Because she believes she, despite popular opinion, doesn’t have good hair. Speaking to the Sunday Times, Rita said in regards to the long-spoken about rumours: ‘Hey, all I want to say to that is, dude, if I were BWTGH, wouldn’t I actually have to have good hair?
‘Look at it. It’s all weave and extensions.’ Going further to prove just how much she was down with ‘Yonce, she added that she won’t hear a bad word about the woman She added:
‘Nobody can ever say anything wrong about that woman in front of me. I get emotional just talking about it.
