Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez purchase $15.3 million apartment in New York City

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez started dating in March 2017.
And almost one year later, the stars purchased their first home together.
The singer/actress and the retired baseball player paid $15.316 million for a 4,000 square foot apartment in New York City, according to The Wall Street Journal.


Jennifer and Alex's new property features sweeping views of Central Park and the New York City skyline.
The Journal reveals that the deal closed last month. 
The massive apartment has three bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths.
According to the website, residents of the exclusive building have access to a 75-foot indoor pool, a private restaurant, a lounge, a screening room and a fitness center.

New York Daily News' source says the lovebirds are doing renovations on the property. 
The couple's purchase comes as Jennifer put her own penthouse on the market. 
Jennifer's previous home in the Big Apple is a two-story penthouse; she listed it for sale at the price of $26.95 million.
The mother of two originally purchased the massive unit for $20.161 million in 2014.
The luxurious property has four bedrooms and 3,000 square feet of outdoor space

Jennifer is worth approximately $360 million, having brought in $38 million last year, according to Forbes via New York Daily News.
Forbes revealed after Alex retired from baseball in 2017, he had estimated earnings of $480 million.
Jennifer is currently in residency at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood; she is set to conclude the two-year deal in September 2018.
The Jenny From The Block artist is mom to two kids with her ex husband Marc Anthony: 10-year-old twins Emme and Max.
Alex has two daughters from his former marriage with Cynthia Scurtis: Natasha, 13, and Ella, nine.

Justin Bieber Sits on the Ground to Chat Up Homeless Couple

Justin Bieber is showing compassion for folks who are down on their luck ... and this could have religious overtones.  
Bieber was spotted Wednesday plopping himself down onto an L.A. sidewalk after a SoulCycle sesh to chat up a homeless man and woman who were sleeping on the pavement.
We're not sure what he was talking to them about, but he was clearly interested in what they had to say ... and was in no rush to wrap up the convo.
It's hard to ignore the fact that this is one of the holiest weeks of the year for Christians, and Justin has steeped himself in church life.

Facebook announces updated privacy settings following #deleteFacebook saga

Facebook has announced new privacy measures following a backlash against the social media platform over how it protects its users' data.
The movement against the social media platform started when a whistleblower claimed a company called Cambridge Analytica accessed the data of more than 50 million Facebook users and allegedly used it to profile and influence voters for the 2016 US presidential election, which Donald Trump won.
Cambridge Analytica and the Trump campaign denied using the data in this way. Facebook has acknowledged that if the data of its users still existed, for Cambridge Analytica to use it would "be a grave violation of Facebook's policies".
Mark Zuckerberg also apologised after a few days of the hashtag #deleteFacebook doing the rounds, saying what had happened was "a breach of trust between Facebook and the people who share their data with us and expect us to protect it".
But now the company has gone even further, saying it will make privacy tools and settings easier for users to find and change.
In a blog post, Facebook's chief privacy officer Erin Egan said that many of these new features have "been in the works for some time," but the events of the past week or so "underscore their importance". Here's what she's said will change:
  • The settings menu will be easier to find. The company has redesigned Facebook's settings menu on mobile devices.
  • There will be a new privacy shortcuts menu which Facebook says means you can control your data in "just a few taps". On this section you can make your account more secure (like two-factor authentication), you can control your personal information (by reviewing what you've shared and deleting things), you can control the ads you see (by managing the information Facebook use to decide what ads to show you) and you can manage who sees your posts and profile.
  • Facebook will introduce a section called 'Access Your Information' where you can access and manage posts, reactions, comments and things you've searched for and delete anything that you no longer want on Facebook.
  • It will be easier to download the data you've shared with Facebook. You can now download a secure copy of your data (including photos, contacts and posts) and move it to another service.
  • The social network's data policy will be updated which will apparently "better spell out what data we collect and how we use it".
The company said it will have more updates coming over the next few weeks.

But Kylie Jenner is reportedly receiving some backlash from her manager mother Kris as the baby's name has hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons, according to Radar Online.
The 20-year-old social media starlet gave birth to Stormi Webster on February 1, just as porn star Stormy Daniels came forward about an alleged affair with Donald Trump.

'Kris Jenner thought the name 'Stormi' was cute for Kylie's baby back in February, when she was born, but now she hates it!' an insider told Radar. 

The matriarch of the Kardashian crew is reportedly 'sick of seeing the name Stormy' in headlines.
'She's horrified and is hoping the scandal will go away so their Stormi can reclaim the name,' added the source. 'Baby names are money to them, and this name was just bad timing, let's face it.' 


The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star reportedly ensures each child can profit off of their name through various legal orders. 
'Names are a huge thing in the Kardashian-Jenner family,' the source said. 'They wait weeks to release the names of their babies so they can run to the copyright office and protect it for future licensing deals.'
While the family figures out exactly what to do with the name, some humor has been reported in the situation. 

'It's really kind of funny that another 'Stormy' came along and made it the most famous porn star name in the world,' said the insider.

Heineken pulls ad Chance the Rapper called 'terribly racist'

Heineken may have taken Chance the Rapper's criticism of one of their advertisements to heart.
The Dutch brewing company has pulled the plug on the Heineken Light commercial the recording artist called "terribly racist."
The advertisement shows a bartender sliding a bottle of Heineken beer past three black people to a white woman standing at an opposite end of a bar. It ends with the slogan, "Sometimes, Lighter is Better" and highlights the beer's 99 calorie count.
"For decades, Heineken has developed a positive track record for creating marketing that shows there's more that unites us than divides us," Heineken said in a statement provided to ABC News. "While we feel the ad is referencing our Heineken Light beer, and that light beer is better than other high-calorie options -- we missed the mark, are taking the feedback to heart and will use this to influence future campaigns."
On Sunday, the Chicago rapper, whose given name is Chancelor Bennett, wrote a post on Twitter accusing Heineken of baiting the public with the advertisement. He also clarified that he was not calling for anyone to boycott the company.
"I think some companies are purposely putting out noticably [sic] racist ads so they can get more views," he wrote. "And that s--- racist/bogus so I guess I shouldn't help by posting about it."

Tyga Finally Responds To Rumours That He's Kylie Jenner's Baby Daddy

Following the birth of Kylie Jenner’s first daughter, Stormi Webster, with boyfriend rapper Travis Scott last month, it didn’t take long before the rumour mill went into overdrive with speculation that the reality star’s ex, Tyga, might be the child’s true father.
Don't forget that Kylie and Tyga dated on-and-off for three years until calling time on their relationship in April 2017 – the same month Jenner allegedly began dating Travis Scott.
However, after rumours have continued to circulate that Tyga might be Stormi’s biological father, the rapper has now come out to settle the score once and for all.
Earlier this week, Tyga posted a message on Twitter about the speculation:
‘I’ve never said anything about someone else’s child or family insinuating my involvement; and will never do so. Please, Stop spreading false stories and attacking people’s families. I have nothing to do with any of that. People should be able to live in peace.’
It doesn’t take a genius to deduce from the star’s tweet that he has no doubts that Travis Scott is Stormi’s biological father.
Tyga’s tweet comes a month after Radar Online published a report that suggested Kylie’s ex was demanding a paternity test for her little girl.
A source told the publication: 'Tyga wants a DNA test because he really thinks that there is a chance this baby could be his.'

Chrissy Teigen Praises Bystander For Saving Her From Cyclist Crash

Chrissy Teigen has praised a bystander who saved her from a close call with a cyclist.
In photographs obtained by People.com, the pregnant model was pictured glamorously dressed in a cream shift dress and high-heeled beige boots, stepping off a sidewalk in New York City, with what initially appeared to be a fan reaching out towards her.
One of her 10 million Twitter followers tweeted the photo at the model writing, “Hey @chrissyteigen this looks like you have strapped a very small man to your boob. Happy Thursday x.”
The 32-year-old mother-of-one, who is due to welcome a son with musician husband John Legend in June (18), responded humorously, “I had the baby.”

However, when another fan suggested the stranger was acting shady, calling him a “creeper”, Chrissy clarified the situation, and made it clear she actually owed him a debt of thanks.
“Nah he actually saved me from getting run over by a cyclist,” she explained. “I should have looked before stepping out!”
Chrissy has a couple of months to go until she gives birth to her second child, but recently admitted she’s concerned about how her daughter Luna, who turns two next month (Apr18), will adjust to no longer being an only child.
“She doesn’t exactly love to share until she’s totally finished with something,” she told E! Online. “I do hear that the first born tends to be excited for the new addition for maybe a day or so, they don’t really realise that they come back day after day after day. So when she starts realising that he’s gonna stick around… maybe things will change.”
The couple are still mulling over names for their unborn child and during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the chat show host tossed around a few suggestions.
“What about Lunar for him?” she asked. “What about Urban Legend?” While Chrissy joked: “I’m toying with Dick Legend a lot. Can I say that?”

R. Kelly accused of grooming underage girl to be his ‘sex pet’

R. Kelly has been accused of “grooming” a 14-year-old girl in a new BBC documentary.
The latest sexual abuse allegation against the R&B star has been made by his former girlfriend Kitti Jones, who dated the singer for two years from 2011.
Jones has been interviewed for a new BBC documentary, and alleged Kelly had told her he had “trained” the teenager to become his sexual plaything.
“I was introduced to one of the girls, that he told me he ‘trained’ since she was 14, those were his words,” she alleges. “I saw that she was dressed like me, that she was saying the things I’d say and her mannerisms were like mine. That’s when it clicked in my head that he had been grooming me to become one of his pets. He calls them his pets.”
Kelly’s ex says the I Believe I Can Fly musician made the unnamed woman “crawl on the floor towards me and perform oral sex on me”. It is not known how old the woman was at the time of the incident.
She claims the star said, “This is my f**king pet, I trained her. She’s going to teach you how to be with me.'”
Jones, 34, also says that Kelly groomed her and forced her to have sex with him and other people at least 10 times in what she called a “sex dungeon”.
Last year (17) the singer, who was found not guilty of child pornography charges in 2008 after a video emerged which was alleged to show him urinating on an underage girl, was accused by the families of two women of brainwashing their daughters to join a “sex cult”. Jones and two other former Kelly associates Cheryl Mack, and Asante McGee alleged that he controlled the lives of six women living in a guest house at Kelly’s home in Duluth, Georgia and a recording studio in Chicago.
The singer and his representative denied the accusations of sexual misconduct or violence against women, but have yet to comment Jones’ new allegations.
In the documentary, which will be aired in the U.K. by online channel BBC Three, Jones claims Kelly was “very abusive, physically, mentally, verbally” towards her. The singer’s former manager Rocky Bivens was also interviewed for the programme, stating that he saw Kelly secretly wed the R&B star Aaliyah, who was then 15 years old at the time. The 51-year-old musician has denied the marriage in the past.
