Chrissy Teigen has praised a bystander who saved her from a close call with a cyclist.
In photographs obtained by People.com, the pregnant model was pictured glamorously dressed in a cream shift dress and high-heeled beige boots, stepping off a sidewalk in New York City, with what initially appeared to be a fan reaching out towards her.
One of her 10 million Twitter followers tweeted the photo at the model writing, “Hey @chrissyteigen this looks like you have strapped a very small man to your boob. Happy Thursday x.”
The 32-year-old mother-of-one, who is due to welcome a son with musician husband John Legend in June (18), responded humorously, “I had the baby.”
However, when another fan suggested the stranger was acting shady, calling him a “creeper”, Chrissy clarified the situation, and made it clear she actually owed him a debt of thanks.
“Nah he actually saved me from getting run over by a cyclist,” she explained. “I should have looked before stepping out!”
Chrissy has a couple of months to go until she gives birth to her second child, but recently admitted she’s concerned about how her daughter Luna, who turns two next month (Apr18), will adjust to no longer being an only child.
“She doesn’t exactly love to share until she’s totally finished with something,” she told E! Online. “I do hear that the first born tends to be excited for the new addition for maybe a day or so, they don’t really realise that they come back day after day after day. So when she starts realising that he’s gonna stick around… maybe things will change.”
The couple are still mulling over names for their unborn child and during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the chat show host tossed around a few suggestions.
“What about Lunar for him?” she asked. “What about Urban Legend?” While Chrissy joked: “I’m toying with Dick Legend a lot. Can I say that?”
