Meek Mill Pays Homage To XXXTentacion & Jimmy Wopo During Powerful Performance

Meek Mill pays homage to XXXTentacion and Jimmy Wopo during his performance of his new song “Stay Woke” at the BET Awards.

Meek Mill performed the new single wearing a hoodie with XXXTentacion‘s face on the front and Jimmy Wopo‘s face on the back. Both X and Wopo were shot and killed last week Monday, June 18th, during separate gun violence incidents. The “Look At Me” rapper was killed in a robbery incident in South Florida, while Wopo was shot and killed in his Pittsburgh neighborhood.

Meek has been campaigning for justice reform since leaving prison in April of this year, but a big part of his message in his new song “Stay Woke” is for us to stop killing each other. The primary suspect in XXXTentacion’s murder was arrested and charged with first-degree murder last week, and cops are on the hunt for two more suspects implicated in the gruesome killing of the Florida rapper.

The Philly rapper also raps about his own struggles with the justice system after getting incarcerated for popping a wheelie on the streets of New York while shooting a music video. His performance of “Stay Woke” with Miguel at the 2018 BET Awards is widely regarded as the best performance of the night. XXXTentacion’s fans are also praising him for the gesture.

Nigerians and the entertainment industry as a whole has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of Dbanj's 13-month old son, Daniel The Third who reportedly drowned in a pool yesterday.

Fans and celebrities who simply can't swallow the bitter pill have all taken to socail media to mourn the death of Daniel who only celebrated his first birthday a month ago.

Don Jazzy wrote, 'Just heard the worst news in a long time'.

BET Awards: Davido wins Best International Act as he sends condolence message to Dbanj with his acceptance speech

Davido won the Best 'International Act Award' at the 2018 BET Awards that held in Los Angeles.

Davido won the award ahead of other international stars like Booba (France)
Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Dadju (France), Fally Ipupa (Dr. Congo), J Hus (UK), Niska (France), Tiwa Savage (Nigeria), Stefflon Don (UK) and Stormzy (UK).

In his acceptance speech, he sent a condolence message to Nigerian musician, Dbanj whose 13-month old son died just a few hours ago.

The 30-year-old former partner of Rob Kardashian shared two images on Saturday which highlighted a new outfit.

The mother-of-two first showcased her famously curvaceous shape in a dark navy blue frock, which lacked straps and featured a slight split revealing her decolletage.

Her toned gams were also on display thanks to the garment's thigh-skimming hemline.

A pair of low-top white sneakers with black laces added a more casual element to the ensemble.

But insiders 'close to' her have told TMZ that she was suspicious the 18-year-old rapper may have impregnated someone else.
