Miracle gets his N12m Mercedes Benz SUV prize after winning BBNaija 2018 (Video)

A week after Miracle Ikechukwu Igbokwe won of the third season of Big Brother Naija and walked away with his N25million in cash, he rides home in his N12m Mercedes Benz SUV.
The young pilot was awarded N25million in cash and N20million worth of gifts, including an SUV Car, N4.7 million all-expense paid trip for two and a N3.3 million entertainment set, which adds up to the N45 million grand prize.
Miracle who was a force to be reckoned with when it came to the games and competitions in the Big Brother Naija house also a N1 million cash prize from Payporte Arena Games and N200,000 from the final wager.
He also won the Pepsi Refresh Your Mix which fetched him N1 million and a trip to Dubai for the One Africa Music Fest, and a year’s supply of Pepsi and Aquafina. The much-loved reality star also won N500,000 from the Close-Up task.
An estimate of Miracle’s winnings in cash prize, assets, and in paid vacations adds up to a staggering N67,700,000.
On his return to Nigeria after an intense 85 days in the Big Brother house, Miracle was on Saturday at a star-studded ‘Home coming’ event in Lagos, received his N12 million Mercedes Benz SUV.

Tom Joyner Says He’s No Longer Playing R. Kelly’s Music On Air After Meeting With #MeToo Founder

Well-respected radio personality Tom Joyner is taking a stand with the members of the #MeToo movement and has vowed to no longer play anymore of R. Kelly’s music on his radio show.
According to Atlanta Black Star, the news came after Joyner met with #MeToo founder Tarana Burke. She was a guest on Jacque Reid’s “Inside Her Story,” which is a segment on Joyner’s show.
On the show, she talked about how playing R. Kelly’s music is an issue because his alleged behavior with underage girls dates back to the 1990s. She says playing his music does nothing to support the victims of sexual abuse. 
“There is a lot of work happening but we need help,” Burke said. “We need ‘The Tom Joyner Morning Show’ to stop supporting R. Kelly. That’s one of the things that would help.”
Joyner responded by saying, “Okay, you got it. I’ll do that right now. I won’t play anymore R. Kelly music.” Burke thanked Joyner for his promise.
“We have to question what is more valuable, the lives and livelihood and wholeness and healthiness of Black women and girls or some music? It’s not just about playing his music; it’s about supporting him in ways that keep him wealthy so that he can continue to prey on Black women,” she added.

Although Kelly has denied allegations of sexual misconduct and violence against women over the last several years, it’s clear he isn’t out of the waters just yet as new allegations keep popping up.

Kanye shaves head for hero Emma González – but the Parkland shooting survivor is unimpressed

Kanye’s return to Twitter is the gift that just keeps on giving – controversy, that is – as the rapper’s latest gesture is ignored by ‘his hero’.
The Yeezy designer, 40, shaved his head in honour of Parkland shooting survivor Emma González, posting a photo of his new look with the caption: ‘Inspired by Emma.’ The Life Of Pablo artist also saluted the 19-year-old American activist with a photo of her labeling the post ‘my hero’, much to the confusion of his fans.

 Having been quite vocal about his controversial political views as of late – as he praised Donald Trump – Twitter trolls were quick to chime in about the star’s contradicting stand point as well posting pictures of their own heads.





While the internet reacted to the shout out with their outrage and copycat Kanye poses, there was really only one reaction that everyone was looking out for – Emma’s. The high school senior, who survived the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida, earlier this year, reacted to the tweet by posting her own hero – and it wasn’t Kanye. The young advocate for gun control, saluted James Shaw Jr, the man who made headlines for stopping a Waffle House shooter and raising $165,000 (£119,738) for the victims.

Styling her own tweet in the same format as Kanye’s, she wrote: ‘my hero James Shaw Jr.’ Yikes. While the Emma tribute may have gone down like a lead balloon, Kanye recently revealed that his next album cover will a picture of his mum’s plastic surgeon, Jan Adams.

RITA Ora looked tearful this weekend as she held a tribute for Avicii on stage

Rita Ora was left holding back tears this week after holding a one minutes silence on stage for Avicii, who was found dead in his hotel room last Friday.
The singer, who collaborated with the Swedish DJ on their hit single Lonely Together, performed the track for the first time since his tragic death at the 538Koningsdag Festival in the Netherlands
Speaking on stage in front of the large crowd, the blonde singer was barely able to hold back the tears as she spoke about her “dear friend” before asking for a minute’s silence to remember him.
With her voice cracking, Rita said: ”I’m going to say something which is really, really special - I know you guys have had a drink, and I have also had a drink - because it's going to be hard for me to sing this next song and I'll tell you why.
"I had the honour of collaborating with somebody who changed my life and he's a really good friend of mine and I heard some DJs playing some of his music earlier.
"I haven't sang his song that we did together, ever since he passed away - until today."
She added: "So it's going to be very hard for me to sing this next song. I'm obviously talking about the incredible Avicii.
"We collaborated on the last song that he released together, so it's going to be very tough for me to sing this next one. And before I do that, can you please all join me in having a minute of silence for him, because he was one of my dearest friends and I would really appreciate that. Can we do that together?"
She then bowed her head and fell quiet, as the audience did they same.
Closing her eyes for the full 60 seconds, Rita then launched into their hit single before exclaiming: “Thank you. This is for you, Avicii, here we go.”
The family of Avicii have confirmed that the superstar DJ’s cause of death, revealing it to be suicide.
In a statement translated from Swedish, the family said: "Our beloved Tim was a seeker, a fragile artistic soul searching for answers to existential questions. An over-achieving perfectionist who travelled and worked hard at a pace that led to extreme stress. 
“When he stopped touring, he wanted to find a balance in life to be happy and be able to do what he loved most – music. He really struggled with thoughts about Meaning, Life, Happiness. He could not go on any longer.”
They added: “He wanted to find peace. Tim was not made for the business machine he found himself in; he was a sensitive guy who loved his fans but shunned the spotlight. 
“Tim, you will forever be loved and sadly missed. The person you were and your music will keep your memory alive. We love you, Your family.”

THE Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary today and Kensington Palace led anniversary celebrations with a cute throwback photo of Prince William and Kate on their wedding as the lovebirds mark seven years as husband and wife as a family of five.

Palace officials took to Twitter to share an adorable snap of the pair in a blue vintage car with a ‘JU5T WED’ registration plate and decorated with balloons taken moments after they tied the knot in London’s Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011.
With the sweet picture Kensington Palace tweeted to its 1.33million followers: “Seven years ago today - thank you for all the lovely messages on The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding anniversary!”
The couple wed on April 29, 2011 and anniversary celebrations today are sure to be low key as the day falls just a week after the couple welcomed their third child, Prince Louis, into the world on St George’s Day, weighing 8lb 7oz.
Now the hands-on parents of a growing brood, with three children under the age of five, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have come along way since they were fresh-faced students at St Andrews University in Scotland.

The couple’s first meeting at St Andrews, where they were both studying Art History, marked the start of a blossoming romance.
And their relationship soon became public in 2004 when they were pictured skiing together in Klosters, Switzerland.
Engagement rumours soon began to swirl when the then-Kate Middleton was spotted kissing Prince William on the slopes as the pair enjoyed another Swiss holiday in 2006.
Following a brief separation the couple were soon back together and in November 2010 the whole world revelled in delight when the handsome prince popped the question with a glittering 12-carat sapphire ring that belonged to his late mother Princess Diana.

They wed five months later on April 29 and became the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - a wedding present from the Queen.

To mark their seven-year anniversary, royal expert, Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk: "William's marriage to Kate which celebrates its seventh anniversary is truly, as Shakespeare's sonnet has it, 'the marriage of true minds'."

A Brazilian football fan tattooed his team's home shirt on his body.
Jose Mauricio dos Anjos, a Flamengo superfan, has spent 90 hours in agony over the past year to get Flamengo’s red and black uniform inked on his body. After 32 painful sessions, the replica of the club’s 2015 home shirt was completed on Friday.

The 33-year-old told Vice Brazil: "People ask me if I don’t find it strange that I’m always wearing a Flamengo shirt. And I just don’t. To me, it’s normal."
The father-of-three said he has always wanted a tattoo to honour his team, and at 18 he got their mascot tattoed on his biceps. He tried to save money and even sold his motorcycle to afford the tattoo of his team's shirt on his torso. He paid for the initial tattoo of parts of the short over his shoulder. However, as they got started on the process, a tattoo artist offered to do the rest for free.

After finishing up his front, he went on to his back where the number "10" is a constant tribute to the iconic Zico. Jose said he "never felt any regret", partly because he got to meet his idol Zico in December, last year.

Because of his tattoo, he has naturally become a local celebrity in his club’s home city of Rio de Janeiro. 
On his encounter with his idol Zico, Jose said: "He was shocked, and touched it to make sure it wasn’t painted on. I asked him to sign my skin and I then got his signature tattooed."
He added that other Flamengo players thought the tattoo was "cool".

Family Sues American Airlines After Pilot Refused To Land During Medical Emergency

The family of a South Carolina woman recently filed a wrongful death lawsuit against American Airlines. They claim the pilot refused to land the airplane during a medical emergency that resulted in the death of 25-year-old Brittany Oswell. She was a newlywed and was returning from her honeymoon with her husband.
According to reports, she suffered a pulmonary embolism and cardiac arrest during a flight from Hawaii to South Carolina in April 2016. A doctor on the flight asked the crew to land because of her critical condition but they kept on flying.
To make matters worse, the onboard defibrillator and blood pressure cuffs didn’t work. Oswell reportedly vomited, passed out in a bathroom, defecated on herself and her pulse ultimately stopped.
Sadly, she passed away a few days later in a Dallas hospital after being on life support. “When Brittany got on the plane, she stepped into her coffin,” said Brad Cranshaw, the lawyer representing the family. “It’s a tragedy.”
In response, the airline issued the following statement: “We take the safety of our passengers very seriously, and we are looking into the details of the complaint.”

You can never go wrong with their mouth-watering options and customers usually are satisfied with their meals… well, except for this New York woman who smashed the window of her local Popeyes, and you won’t believe why! Sis got in her feelings because they wouldn’t serve her what she wanted, a special from Wendy’s!
According to NewsWeek, her tantrum was caught on camera and police are asking residents to help them find her
A statement from the New York Police Department said the woman “harassed the restaurant’s staff about her meal before she used a chair to break a glass window. The individual fled the scene inside of a dark colored sedan in an unknown direction.”
“The individual is described as a female, black, 18 to 25 years old; last seen wearing a multi-colored du-rag, a pink bandana, a pink hooded sweater, a black jacket and blue jeans.”
A Popeyes employee, who wished to remain anonymous, told NBC-4 that the woman had one too many drinks and was pissed because her $4 Wicked Good Deal didn’t come with a drink. The employees believed that she was thinking about a deal that Wendy’s has but she was too angry to listen to them.
Surveillance footage shows the woman giving the employees the middle finger, throwing the display board on the ground and smashing a chair into one of the windows.

Tragic DJ Avicii's secret girlfriend says they were planning to have family together

Tragic DJ Avicii had a secret girlfriend and was planning to start a family, it has been claimed.
Czech model Tereza Kacerova shared a number of intimate snaps of the couple on Instagram and wrote: "I was set on keeping our relationship private as I wanted it to be ours only.
"But I thought, if I’m going to share this with the world, it will be when pregnant with our child. Ohhh, how that plan went awry.”
Meanwhile friend Olivia Nervo, one half of Aussie dance act Nervo with twin Miriam, told The Sun: "When I last saw Tim it felt like he was more confident and happier.
"Friends of mine who were good friends of his told me he was the happiest he’d ever been.
It comes as devastated family implied Avicii - real name Tim Bergling - took his own life after struggling to find peace in an emotional second statement.





His parents and brother, who flew out to Oman over the weekend after he was found dead in Muscat on Friday, said the Swedish superstar "struggled" with big life questions and "couldn't go on", adding that "he wanted to find peace".



Although the family do not explicitly mention the cause of death, sources said the poignant statement’s original wording in his native Swedish makes the strong implication he killed himself.
Avicii had previously spoken of his fear of dying if he continued to fly around the world to perform night after night in the biggest clubs.

Migos Quavo & Cardi B Involved In Brawl At Hotel In Vegas (Video)

Migos rapper Quavo was involved in a brawl at a hotel in Las Vegas last night.
The details are still sketchy, but multiple reports confirmed that Quavo was involved in a fight with a valet parking attending at Encore Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. It’s unclear if any of the other two Migos members were involved in the fight. Migos and Cardi B performed at Drai’s Nightclub on Friday night in what turned out to be a well-received set. After the show ended they checked into the Encore hotel where they were staying.
The Blast reported that hotel staffs asked Quavo to go move his car and he wasn’t too happy about the request. When he went outside he and the valet got into a heated argument and punches were thrown. Cardi B was reportedly at the hotel and was quickly taken to safety inside the hotel lobby.
Cardi B came on as a guest artist during Migos performance at Drai’s. She was not harmed or was directly involved in the incident at the hotel. Offset and Takeoff were not at the scene during the fight.
Cops were called in and Migos was asked to leave the hotel and they complied. One person was reportedly taken into police custody. The Atlanta rap trio seems to always have a knack for getting into brawls when they’re in Vegas. Last year February, the group was involved in a massive brawl with Sean Kingston that resulted in shots being fired.
