Twitter Is Blubbering Following The News Kate Middleton Has Given Birth To A Baby Boy

This afternoon, Kensington Palace announced that Kate Middleton and Prince William have welcomed a healthy baby boy in the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in London.

Her new baby boy weighs a healthy 8 pounds and 7 ounces and mother and baby are 'both doing well', according to Kensington Palace.

Comedian MC Ajele promises to give #BBNaija3 winner, Miracle a Toyota Venza and cash gift

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have welcomed their third child, a baby boy.

Both Kate Middleton and the child are doing well. The baby was born at 11: 01 am, weighing 8lbs 7oz. Prince William was present for the birth.

Earlier this morning, Kensington Palace revealed the Duchess of Cambridge was in labour at the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital, London to welcome her child.

The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed of the birth of the child and both families are delighted with the news, Kensington Palace said.

Former Ghanaian leader, Jerry Rawlings distances himself from President Buhari's controversial comments on Nigerian youths

Former Ghanaian leader, Jerry John Rawlings has distanced himself from comments made by President Buhari, on Nigerian youths.

Recall that Buhari described Nigerian youths as 'lazy people who are always desperate for freebies' while speaking at the 25th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting on Wednesday, April 18 in London.

“About the economy. We have a very young population, our population is estimated conservatively to be 180 million," Buhari said. "This is a very conservative one. More than 60 percent of the population is below 30, a lot of them haven’t been to school and they are claiming that Nigeria is an oil-producing country, therefore, they should sit and do nothing, and get housing, health care, education free.”

A statement issued on Sunday, April 22, by the office of Mr Rawlings, noted that in recent days several Nigerian news portals and social media pages reportedly claimed that he has declared his support for Buhari's comments.

The former President said that any comment purportedly coming from him on the issue is false.

“The office wishes to state that former President Rawlings has made no comment whatsoever nor issued a statement on the comments by President Buhari,” a statement issued by Mr Rawlings office said. "Any comments purportedly coming from Mr. Rawlings are false and a creation of individuals who wish to use the former President of Ghana’s name for their own political interests".

DJ Avicii's family arrives in Oman as new details emerge on his death

The family of Avicii has arrived Oman following the death of the Swedish DJ, who died last week while vacationing in Oman.

Avicii's parents, two sisters and one brother are in the nation to repatriate his body this week, according to police in Oman, a popular vacation destination on the Arabian Peninsula.

Authorities are ruling out "criminal suspicion" in the death of the superstar DJ. Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling, was found dead Friday in the Oman capital of Muscat. A cause of death has not been released.

"Two postmortems were carried out ... and we can confirm that there is no criminal suspicion in the death," Royal Oman Police told CNN.

His family is "completely devastated," police said.

Though he was highly successful as a DJ and musician, the 28-year-old constantly struggled with fame and health issues. He retired from performing two years ago to take a break from touring and the exhausting lifestyle that comes with it.

He wrote on social media that stress, anxiety, and illness were factors in his decision. He said walking away was tough but he needed to pursue other interests.

He wrote on social media at the time: "Creating music is what makes me happy and I have gotten to know so many great people in my days of touring, seen so many amazing places and created endless of good memories.

"The decision I made might seem odd to some but everyone is different and for me this was the right one."

The 45- year-old "Lose Yourself" rapper took to Instagram over the weekend to share the good news with a photo of himself holding up a 10-year sobriety chip he was given in recognition of his remarkable achievement.

Eminem whose real name is Marshall Mathers, has been sober since 2008 when he checked himself into rehab and started the 12-step program after he nearly died from an accidental overdose in 2007.

Speaking with Men’s Journal about the issue in 2015, Eminem admitted, "I overdosed on pills, and I went into the hospital. I was close to 230 pounds. I'm not sure how I got so big, but I have ideas. The coating on the Vicodin and the Valium I'd been taking for years leaves a hole in your stomach, so to avoid a stomachache, I was constantly eating — and eating badly."

"When I got out of rehab, I needed to lose weight, but I also needed to figure out a way to function sober. Unless I was blitzed out of my mind, I had trouble sleeping. So I started running. It gave me a natural endorphin high, but it also helped me sleep, so it was perfect," he shared at the time.

Arsene Wenger hints Arsenal fans to blame for decision to leave

Wenger saw his side beat West Ham 4-1 at the Emirates in the first Arsenal game since he announced on Friday he would step down in the summer.

The 68-year-old has been in charge at Arsenal for over 21 years but his role has come under increased scrutiny in recent times following repeated failings in the Premier League and Champions League.

A late flurry of three goals in seven minutes wrapped up a win for Wenger as his long farewell began.

And after the game the Frenchman revealed he felt the club's global reputation was being damaged by those fans calling for him to leave

"Personally I believe this club is respected all over the world, much more than in England,” he said.

“And that our fans did not give the image of unity I want at the club all over the world and that was hurtful.

"I feel the club is respected and overall the image we gave from our club is not what it is and not what I like

"I'm not resentful and I do not want to make stupid headlines.

"I'm not resentful with the fans, I just feel if my personality is in the way of what I think our club is, for me that is more important than me.

"That is what I want to say, it is nothing to do with the fans, the fans were not happy I can understand that, that is my job and I have to live with that, I can accept that."

Arsene Wenger insists he is leaving Arsenal to stop warring fans TRASHING the club

The Frenchman said supporters fighting over his future had damaged the Gunners’ reputation around the world as a club with values.

Fans have been split over Wenger’s future in recent years with growing numbers demanding he goes, sparking regular fights last season.

“I am not resentful with the fans,” said Wenger who announced on Friday he will step down in the summer after 22 years in charge.

“I just feel that if my personality is in the way of what I think our club is, for me that is more important than me staying.

“I was not tired. But I believe this club is respected all over the world, much more than in England.

Our fans did not give the image of unity at the club I want all over the world. That was hurtful.

“We can speak and speak and speak but sport is about winning and losing and you have to accept you will lose games, even when I am not here any more.

“But it is as well about something bigger than just winning or losing and for me that was always a worry - how the club was perceived worldwide.

“For kids playing in Africa, China and America and the dreams it can create for young children who want to play football and all our clubs have a responsibility for that.

“If you travel with us – and I travel a lot – this club is respected all over the world, and that is down to work and the way we play football, the way we behave and the way we treat people.

“I want that to go on and be respected and give the image I think is right, even if there is a lot of money in the game.

“Above that, it is more than the money, more than the result. It is the way the club is received and the impression it leaves all over the world.”

Starsport revealed on Saturday that Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri and Hoffenheim’s Julian Naglesmann are in the frame to replace Wenger, with former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique also under consideration.

Everton have contacted Wenger about the possibility of a shock move to Goodison and Starsport can reveal they hope to pair him with former Arsenal fullback and current Dynamo Kiev assistant Oleg Luzhny.

But Wenger hinted last night, after two goals from Alexandre Lacazette and strikes from Nacho Monreal and Aaron Ramsey saw off West Ham, that he could not see himself managing another Premier League club.

“If you speak about emotions that will certainly be emotionally difficult,” said Wenger.

Wenger, who also confirmed he will not have any input into picking his successor, also joked about the huge reaction to his shock announcement.

“I don’t need to die any more - I know what people will say about me,” he said.

West Ham equalised through Marko Anautovic but were undone when young centre back Declan Rice ducked under a Ramsey cross, allowing it to float into the net.

Hammers boss David Moyes said: “A young player makes a really poor mistake for the second goal and I hope he learns from it because he’s got potential. If it happens again then you don’t progress.”
