Avicii’s ex-girlfriend has spoken out after the news the Swedish DJ has died. The 28-year-old, real name Tim Bergling, was found dead while holidaying in Muscat, Oman, with friends. Celebrities and colleagues including Calvin Harris, Madonna and Nile Rodgers have paid tribute to the EDM icon in wake of the news. And now, Emily Goldberg, who dated Avicii from 2011 until 2013, has shared a heartbreaking post on her ex’s passing. The former George Washington University student shared a number of pictures of herself with the DJ, including a number of them kissing and cuddling.

“Come on babe, don’t give up on us. Choose me, and I’ll show you love.” Those are lyrics from a song Tim wrote for me. I wish I could have lived up to them. Nigerian pop singer, Seyi Shay,opens up on her mother’s last words to her before she kicked the bucket.

She said that most nights before going to bed she thinks of her dead mother and some of her last words to her.

She said,

“Currently all my father does is to pray for me. Before my mother died, her last words to me were that I should become all I can be and I would eventually make it in Nigeria.

I really miss my mother and I wish she could see everything that I am doing now. I wish she could see that I have not given up despite the setbacks I encounter in my job. I think my mother would be proud of me.”

“If my mother was alive, I am sure she would always ask me when I would introduce her to my fiancé but before her death, she never pressured me about marriage.

Before she died, she told me that I should make sure I have done everything I wanted to do before any other thing. She said I should not let any man stop my dream. That is what she said to me. Now, I am ready for marriage, I even sang about it in my new project.”

Speaking more about her recent project which is her new EP, Electric Package, she told Saturday Beats that she has gone back to her roots with the body of work.

“I started the process of this EP in November; I recorded over 20 songs but picked the best six songs based on the story I want to tell.

I picked the most indigenous songs because I want to connect with my roots again. People think I am too foreign, so I wanted to show them that I am not. The first song I released was ‘Loving Your Way, and this EP goes back to that sound which I started with.

“Everybody is doing the Shaku Shaku dance and it took me a long time to learn the dance. D’banj taught me how to dance it and I am glad to say that I can do the dance step. It was not till I learnt how to dance it that I realised that it is quite easy. People think it is about the footwork but it is more about the hand movement; if you get the hand and head movement right, the footwork would be easy,”

she said.

The beautiful mother of one showed off her cleavage while praising her Nigerian plastic surgeon for doing an apparently good job on her.

Agnes Masogange, a Tanzanian video vixen and model who was once linked to Nigerian superstar singer, Davido is dead.

Agnes who was found guilty of drug use and was ordered to pay a total of $450,000 or serve two years in jail after a magistrate found that she was using the illicit drugs Heroin and Oxazepam, reportedly died of pneumonia and low blood pressure at 4pm on Friday, April 20, at Mama Ngoma Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The Tanzanian video vixen who was in the hospital facility for 4 days before her death, made headlines in 2015 after she was reported that she might be pregnant for Davido. The report came after she showed off Davido on Instagram and then shared a pregnancy kit photo which indicated positive.

However, they later cleared the air to debunk the rumor.

Some Tanzanian celebrities have taken to social media to mourn the vixen.

Swedish DJ Avicii, real name Tim Bergling, died at age 28 on Friday, April 20, his publicist confirmed. 

"It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii," his publicist Diana Baron said in a statement. "He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given."

Bergling started out releasing music on Laidback Luke Forum in the late '00s, where DJs and producers would post music and seek feedback from budding peers. In 2011, he broke through to an international audience with the progressive house track "Levels," which hit No. 1 in his native Sweden and on the U.S. Billboard Dance Club Songs chart -- and earned him a Grammy nod. His 2012 David Guetta collab "Sunshine" earned him a Grammy nomination as well, and that same year, he became the first electronic DJ/producer to headline New York City's storied Radio City Music Hall. 

In 2013, Avicii released his debut studio album, True, which featured the game-changing, massive international hit "Wake Me Up!" ft. Aloe Blacc. Combining EDM, folk and country music, the song became a No. 1 hit in many countries and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. His second album, Stories, dropped in 2015 and featured vocals from Chris Martin, Wyclef Jean, Robbie Williams, Matisyahu, Brandon Flowers, Gavin DeGraw and more. The EP Avīci (01) came out in Aug. 2017 and featured his Rita Ora collaboration "Lonely Together."

Avicii's health issues were known to the public for several years prior to his death. He suffered from acute pancreatitis, in part due to excessive drinking. In 2014, he canceled numerous shows in order to recover after having his gallbladder and appendix removed. 

Eventually, he decided to retire from touring entirely in an emotional letter penned in March 2016.

“To me it was something I had to do for my health,” Bergling told The Hollywood Reporter in 2016. “The scene was not for me. It was not the shows and not the music. It was always the other stuff surrounding it that never came naturally to me. All the other parts of being an artist. I'm more of an introverted person in general. It was always very hard for me. I took on board too much negative energy, I think.”

Paris Saint-Germain star, Neymar and his girlfriend, Brazilian actress Bruna Marquezine were recently spotted on a romantic trip to the Shopping Village Mall in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro.

Sean Paul can now breathe a sigh of relief following a successful blood drive for his ailing father.

The dancehall legend went on Instagram last week and plead with his fans and his fellow dancehall friends to donate blood to a hospital in Kingston where his dad, Garth Henriques, is currently hospitalized for the past two weeks. His fans and a few local celebrities answered the call and participated in a blood drive at the National Chest Hospital in St. Andrew on Thursday. The effort was a collaboration between Sean Paul and the National Blood Transfusion Service of Jamaica.

“Greetings, I am presently at the University Hospital of The West Indies where my paps has been fighting for his life humbly for the past,” Sean Paul said. “We’ve been asking family and friends to come and give blood if they can but right now he is in dire need of blood so if anybody can come and give blood I would greatly appreciate it.”

In his post on social media last week, Sean Paul went public about his father’s health while asking his local fans to go and donate blood that could help save his old man’s life. “MY POPS HAS BEEN ILL IN HOSPITAL THE PAST 2 MONTHS,” the dancehall legend wrote. “ITS PART OF THE REASON IVE NOT BIN SO PRESENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA. HE IS GARTH HENRIQUES AND IS IN DIRE NEED OF GETTING O NEGATIVE BLOOD. IF U ARE IN JAMAICA AN CAN HELP I WOULD GREATLY APPRECILOVE THE HELP. U CAN GO 2 UWI HOSPITAL BETWEEN 930AM AND 330PM 2 GIVE BLOOD. OR ANY OTHER BLOOD BANK ISLAND WIDE AN GIVE BLOOD 2 HIS ACCOUNT.”

Vybz Kartel says Bounty Killer is still his daddy.

The Gazanation leader received a big co-sign from his former mentor this week after dropping his new single “Under Water.” Bounty Killer posted a snippet of the track on his Instagram feed while labeling it “real dancehall sound.” He also told the upcoming producers in the game to take notes from Vybz Kartel and TJ Records who produced the single.

Kartel left a comment on the post saying, “Daddy a your school mi graduate from eno #AllianceUniversity so it ain’t no surprise Daddy lol.”

This is another clear sign that Bounty Killer and Vybz Kartel have worked out their differences and are again on good terms. The two had a bitter fallout over a decade ago that lead to the infamous Gully/Gaza feud. That rivalry is largely responsible for the rapid rise of Mavado and Kartel at the time in the mid-2000s.

In 2009, Killer was one of few dancehall artists who were very critical about Vybz Kartel bleaching. His harsh words lead to a scathing diss track from Kartel who is a former student from his Alliance group. The two deejays are now putting those bad blood aside for the greater good of dancehall.

Nelly girlfriend Shantel Jackson is being pulled into his rape case.

The rap legend is being sued by Monique Greene who accused him of sexually assaulting her on one of his tour buses, but Jackson is claiming that she was there at the venue and in his tour bus at the time of the alleged rape. She wrote a scathing comment on Instagram in January when multiple accusers started coming out of the woodwork accusing Nelly of sexual misconducts.

“Those dates these Jane Doe’s are claiming, I was at those venues, in the dressing rooms, and on that tour bus,” Shantel Jackson wrote. “There are women dealing with real issues of sexual assault and for the first time people are listening and there is a chance for real change.”

That statement is now causing her some legal troubles of her own because at least one of the victims she called out is now trying to haul her before the courts to potentially testify in the case.

Green’s legal team has subpoena documents from Jackson including airline tickets, photographs, bus tickets, phone records, receipts, social media posts, and any other records pertinent to her whereabouts around the dates of June 8-10 in 2016, October 5-7 in 2016, and December 4-6 in 2017.

Monique Greene is also ramping up the pressure on Nelly by requesting him to turn over a list of all sexual encounters he had with fans in his dressing rooms, hotels, and tour buses. She also wants his tax returns, and all documents relevant to the accusations against him.

Nelly shot back saying that she is asking for too much, and get this, Greene and her attorney are asking for Shantel Jackson’s deposition to be videotaped. The judge is yet to hand down a ruling.

Clearly, Nelly rape case is getting more serious so we will be watching this one closely.

Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams is engaged to her boyfriend Chad Johnson.

The couple has been dating for a year and Johnson popped the question recently and she said yes. Williams graced the stage at Coachella with Beyonce and Kelly Rowland during their Destiny’s Child reunion set. She told PEOPLE that they could just not contain the good news any longer and decided to share their engagement with the world.

“On March 21, 2018, the love of my life @chadjohnson77 proposed and I said “Yesssssssss…..I will, I will, I will!!!” More of our love story is in the link in my bio from @people!!! Take a walk with us on our journey,” she wrote on Instagram.

Michelle Williams and Chad Johnson met in March last year and during a recent appearance on The Real, the couple relayed how they started dating and how they arrived at engagement. The pair met at a spiritual retreat in Arizona run by Johnson, who is a life coach and a pastor.

“I was in a horrible, dark place,” Williams, 37, said while opening up about her cheating ex-boyfriend. “I just needed to go somewhere where I could get a message of hope and restoration, rejuvenation — get connected to God.”

Chad Johnson says he was also in a similar place and that made their relationship even stronger. The couple says they are already planning their wedding which will happen sometime soon.

Safaree Samuels is clearly very shaken by an armed robbery earlier this month.

The Love and Hip Hop: New York star says he is done wearing jewelry because it made him a target for armed thugs who are trying to make a quick heist. The Safaree was robbed at gunpoint two weeks ago in New Jersey and since then he said the incident left him traumatized. The robbery shook him enough to let him give up his flashy blings and we all know that is something hard for him to do.

Paparazzi caught up with Safaree Samuels yesterday in NYC walking out of the Avianne & Co. jewelry. Of all the places he was walking out of a jewelry but here is what he said. “No jewels man, I ain’t buy nothing,” he said. “The IRS is watching, I ain’t buying nothing.”

Not surprisingly, he was wearing some bling on his arm but his large fur coat would definitely hide his chains. The robbers made off with $180,000 worth of jewelry and cash during the robbery but they never took his coat which is worth at least a couple thousand. Safaree also said he knows one of the robbers from back in the day when he used to date Nicki Minaj. The suspects were arrested shortly after the robbery.

Safaree Samuels previously wrote on Twitter that the robbery was a traumatic experience given that it happened months after his uncle was murdered. “Seeing your life flash b4 you’re eyes is a life changing experience,” he said. “Nothing funny about it. It’s probably only funny to ppl who don’t have anything or never experienced it. My uncle was killed in a robbery so when thinking about my situation all I think about is him.”
