Paul Pogba shows off new BLUE haircut

The £89million club-record signing is suffering a tough time of it at Old Trafford lately.

The 25-year-old has found himself out of Jose Mourinho's starting XI and coming under-fire from pundits and fans alike.

Speculation has been rife that Pogba's second coming at the Red Devils may be nearing an end after a miserable few months.

And that intensified after his below-par cameo from the bench failed to save their Champions League hopes last week in the shock defeat to Sevilla.

He didn't even kick a kick on Saturday as United slightly lifted some of the gloom around the club by reaching the FA Cup semi-finals with a 2-0 victory over Brighton.

Pogba looked delighted as he arrived at the French national football team training base in Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines

So few could blame the ex-Juventus man for feeling a little blue.

And that mood appears to have been reflected by Pogba's latest hair cut as he showed off his new do to his 21 million Instagram followers.

Luckily for the midfielder, this week provides some temporary respite from the misery in the North West as he joins up with the France national squad to continue his preparations for the World Cup.

And to celebrate meeting up with Les Bleus for the upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Russia the star has died his hair blue in honour of his country... and Dragon Ball Z.

Runtown sued by record label again!

For the second time in 2-years, Eric Many, the record label that signed Nigerian singer, Runtown has filed an injunction at a Federal High court against the singer for breach of contract.

According to a statement sent, the entertainment company served Runtown the court papers a few days back Suit No: FHC/L/CS/267/2018.

"Runtown has been deliberately breaching his contract with us (Eric Many) for a while and despite our many appeals to him he has refused to bulge. He went for a show in Las Vegas since January 13th, 2018 and has since decided to withdraw all obligations of his contract. He has steadily been recording an album without the consent and approval of his record label," the statement read.

According to the Statement of Caim filed at the Federal High Court, by Eric Many and release to Pulse, "a Recording Agreement was made between the Plaintiff and the Defendant dated 22nd June 2016, the copyright and other intellectual property and cognate rights and legal positions and protections applicable to all works done by the Defendant during an initial period of two years covered by the Agreement, is vested in the Plaintiff.

"The Plaintiff will rely on a copy of the said Recording Agreement at trial. 7. Under the Agreement, parties recognize and acknowledge the sum of N114,456,670.00 (One Hundred and Fourteen Million, Four Hundredand Fifty Six Thousand,Six Hundred and Seventy Naira) as "Prior Investment", representing the sum invested by the Plaintiff into the development of the Defendant's musical works and records under the defunct 'Artiste Agreement', precursor to the 'Recording Agreement".

In the press statement issued this morning, the label also states that, "he's recording with artists like Del'B without the written approval of the label and without an Eric Many appointee at the point of recording as agreed in our contract. Runtown has also been appearing in venues and collecting appearance fees without the approval of the label and also performing in private shows without the label's consent which contravenes clause 4.4.1 of his record deal which states that 'the Defendant(Runtown) can only engage in recording, collaborating or performing with other artistes for third parties or other record companies upon proper notification in advance to the Plaintiff. Upon this notification, the Plaintiff would then enter into an agreement with the collaborating artiste or his record company to ensure that the Plaintiff and the Defendant receive proper credit, legal/copyright protection and compensation for the collaborative work".

Runtown's deal with Eric Many is set to expire on June 22, 2018, but according to the label, the singer is still indebted to them.

It reads: 'Hundreds of millions in Naira from the Lamborghini Gallardo super-fast car which he still has to pay back to the label and and also an album that must be released through the right channels. He has been doing numerous collaborations with several artists without getting the written approval of the label and as a result, no royalties have come back to the label from any of these collaborations. He has been warned severally about this on numerous occasions but he refused to listen, so we as the label had to go to court to stop him from these dubious actions'.

The label also claim to have sacked his current manager, Ifeanyi Nwunne saying, "Eric Many has also fired Ifeanyi Nwunne as Runtown's manager. He is more of a drug addict that smokes marijuana round the clock. A new manager will be appointed soonest'."

Eric Many in its statement of claim is seeking the sum of "N65 MILLION being General Damages against the Defendant (Runtown) in favour of the Plaintiff for infringement of the Plaintiff's copyright to the collaborative musical works "Call Me" and "Weekend" both of which featured the Defendant as well as N5 MILLION as costs of this action". "Eric Many has chosen to hold back on anything pertaining to Runtown,till further investigations. This means that anyone who engages Runtown without a written approval from Eric Many, signed by the chairman, will be sued heavily.

This will be the second time in two years that Runtown has had to face off with his label. In May 2016, he was sued in the Federal High Court by Eric Many on allegations that he signs up, concludes and attends musical shows without the knowledge of the label. Back then, Eric Many also secured a court injunction stopping Runtown from performing as an artiste anywhere in the world. The case was eventually settled out of court.

"Tears of a Broken Virgin" Ifu Ennada releases short film inspired by her sexual assault experience

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Ifu Ennada, has released her short film titled "Tears of a Broken Virgin."

Written and produced by Ifu Ennada and directed by Benedict Alli (Kobo Productions), the film was inspired by Ifu's real-life rape experience.

"In 2016, I was sexually assaulted by someone in the entertainment industry, before then I was a Virgin. This person also infected me with an STI," she told Pulse Nigeria.

After the rape, the actress was threatened by the rapist. She was also very scared of the victim shaming that often follows on social media with questions such as: "what was she wearing?" " why did she go to his house?"

"So in all my sadness and depression, I decided to tell the world what had happened to me using film as a medium. I was inspired to write and produce my film "Tears of A Broken Virgin."

For the short film, Ifu got a lot of help from social media. People volunteered to work on the project for free, including the director, Benny Alli Atagame.

Though some parts of "Tears of a Broken Virgin" is fiction, Ifu says a bulk of it was inspired by her story: The lead character's name is Ada, which is a short form of her name Adanne, popularly pronounced as Ennada.

During her stay in the "Big Brother Naija" house, Ifu was one of the housemates who was not romantically involved with anyone.

During a Truth or Dare game, she had said that she had not really had sex, starting conversations online about her virginity.

According to the evicted housemate, after the rape incident, she plunged into a severe depression and developed trust issues which has made it hard for her to connect to men.

"Because of my sad experience I battled depression, developed trust issues and found it hard to connect with people especially men. This is one of the reasons I stayed away from males in the house."

With "Tears of a Broken Virgin," Ifu intends to pass a strong message to rape victims and rapists.

She also intends to expand the short film into a feature-length film, aimed at inspiring people to stand up against rape.

About "Tears of a Broken Virgin"

In "Tears of a Broken Virgin," a vengeful rape victim goes on an unconventional revenge mission, and not even the marriage proposal from the rapist can change her mind.

"Tears of a Broken Virgin" garnered eight nominations at the In-shorts Film festival and earned Ifu Ennada the best actress Award 2018.

Reports indicate that Toke Makinwa was spotted out on a launch date with ex-husband, Maje Ayida.

Now this might be strange as Toke Makinwa is said to have reportedly gone out on a lunch date with ex-husband, Maje Ayida.

According to Instablog9ja, the former celebrity couple was seen together at the high brow restaurant, Wheatbaker at Ikoyi in Lagos state.

It is not clear what the reason behind the date was but fans and lovers of Toke will be hoping that this turns out well. As we all know Toke Makinwa and Maje Ayida have been divorced for less than a year now.

Mohamed Salah apologises to Watford goalkeeper after scoring 4 goals against him

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah apologised to Watford goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis after he scored four goals against him.

The Egypt international again produced another master display as Liverpool beat Watford 5-0 at Anfield on Saturday, March 17.

Salah was a nightmare for the Watford defenders as he scored four goals and provided an assist for Roberto Firmino to score.

The 25-year-old took his Premier League goal tally to 28 and after the game he approached the Watford goalkeeper to apologise, as players from both teams embraced each other after the game.

Television cameras suggest that Salah said “I'm sorry” to Karnezis after the game.

Salah now has a total of 36 goals in 41 games for the reds this season, which has made football supporters worldwide compare him with five time World Player of the Year Lionel Messi.
