Ace comedian Alibaba has shared the reason behind his constant support for comedians in Nigeria. According to him, God is the reason for his support. He also believes that comedians will be inspired to work harder to achieve their own milestones if they are encouraged.
Alibaba went further to reveal that unlike his colleagues, he doesn’t have his own house because he lives with his wife, but he will do something about it before the year runs out.

Big Brother Naija reality show has announced return of ex-housemates. This was disclosed in a statement by the host of BBN Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s on his social media page.
Ebuka said the ex housemates will be back on a show to run from January 22nd to Saturday, January 27th on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29.

FUNKE AKINDELE CALLS FOR AN END TO FLOGGING OF STUDENTS IN NIGERIAN SCHOOLS FOR THIS REASON

Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has called for an end to flogging of students in Nigerian schools.
The actress in reaction to a video of girls been flogged mercilessly by a teacher described the practice as, “wicked” and “evil.”
She made the call in a post she uploaded on her Instagram account.
In the video, a male teacher was seen viciously flogging some female students with a cable. The offense of the students was that they resumed late for school. According to reports that were going round, the students of Government Science School in Eggon, Nassarawa State, were flogged for refusing to resume back to school on the official day of resumption.
The students, who were on a sort of Assembly line could be seen in pain after being flogged by the teacher.
However, ‘Jenifa’ as widely called has called for the teacher’s sack while also demanding that the management of the school be held responsible for their actions and be made to apologise for the harsh treatment meted on the students.
She wrote:
What? Who is this TEACHER flogging these students? What school is this? I’m so sad seeing this and I must say this act is WICKED,EVIL.
“Can’t they be given other punishments? Are they not human beings? What if one of them passes out in the process? What of the injuries inflicted on them? I’m so angry! Tani Tisa yi? Please they should stop this oh,This teacher has to be sacked!!!
