Ariana Grande has reportedly got engaged to her boyfriend of three weeks, Pete Davidson.
People.com state that following just three weeks together, the pair have become so loved-up they’ve taken things to the next level.
‘It’s a recent engagement,’ a source told the website. ‘They’re just two people who found love quickly and make each other happy all the time. ‘They both started talking about it this past weekend. It’s nothing they’ve been hiding.’
It became apparent that the pair were pretty smitten with each other when Peter, who stars on Saturday Night Live, revealed he had two tattoos done in her honour at the beginning of this month. He had her initials AG tattooed onto his thumb, while her iconic bunny ears were inked behind his ear.
They confirmed their relationship shortly before this, with a cute picture of them dressed up like Harry Potter characters.
Ariana’s new romance with Pete comes just weeks after she ended her two-year relationship with rapper Mac Miller and dubbed their time together as ‘toxic’.
Pete was forced to defend his relationship with Ariana after trolls attacked him for having bipolar disorder.
‘Normally I wouldn’t comment on something like this cause fuck you, but [I’ve] been hearing a lot of “people with bpd can’t be in relationships” talk,’ he wrote on Instagram stories.
‘I just wanna let you know that’s not true. Just because someone has a mental illness does not mean they can’t be happy and in a relationship.’
He added: ‘It also doesn’t mean that person makes the relationship toxic. Everybody is different and there are a lot of treatments for mental illnesses and I have done/am doing all of them …
I just think it’s fucked up to stigmatize people as crazy and say that they are unable to do stuff that anyone can do. ‘It’s not their fault and it’s the wrong way for people to look at things.
I may be crazy but at least I’m aware of it and not afraid to be honest about it and I’m not hiding behind a Twitter or Instagram account.’
