I think we can all agree Reverend Michael Curry absolutely stole the show at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding by delivering a show stopping sermon.
The bishop’s words rose in a passionate crescendo as he spoke of the link between love and the divine, his style a stark contrast to the sober delivery of the Archbishop of Canterbury, who was officiating.
For the Royal Family, the animated performance would be a departure from the type of sermons they normally see at church services.
But Bishop Curry soon had the pair dissolved into giggles
At times several of the congregation could be seen smiling and exchanging glances.
Zara Tindall gave ‘massive side eye’ and reached for her bible, while Mike couldn’t tear his eyes away.
The Queen and Prince Phillip looked bemused.
Kate couldn’t keep a straight face.
Prince Charles and Camilla were trying to figure out what was happening.
Princess Beatrice looked like she wanted to book him for her wedding.
And Elton John was not feeling all the love when he pulled this face.
At least David Beckham was enjoying himself.
Doria looked a bit more with it.
People found their reactions hilarious, to say the least.

I would like to apologise for the faces English people pull when they are moved and therefore feeling vulnerable and are trying to hide that. #RoyalWedding— Cariad Lloyd (@ladycariad) May 19, 2018

Whatever I was expecting of the wedding, it was NOT this. This is the most joyous thing. A gospel choir in Windsor chapel following black bishop Michael Curry, quoting Martin Luther King Jr. and talking about slavery.— Denizcan James (@MrFilmkritik) May 19, 2018
Meghan is already killing it. #RoyalWedding

He opened his speech with the words of Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King Jr, who said: ‘We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love.
And when we do that, we will be able to make of this old world a new world. Love is the only way.’
In a moment of light self-deprecation, Bishop Curry noted he had to soon sit down, gesturing to the couple and adding ‘we need to get y’all married’.
The ideas of French thinker Pierre Teilhard de Chardin were called upon as the bishop brought his address to a powerful conclusion.
The Roman catholic theologian, described as ‘one of the great minds and spirits of the 20th century’, recognised the role fire had played in advancing human history
