Mohamed Salah managed to break two records held by Luis Suarez on the final day of Liverpool’s Premier League campaign.
The Egypt international scored his 32nd goal in the Premier League as Liverpool coasted to a 4-0 victory over Brighton on Sunday afternoon.
And that meant he overtook Alan Shearer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Suarez to become the division’s highest-ever scorer in a single 38-game season.
But Liverpool’s star man also overhauled Suarez to become the best-ever player in Fantasy Premier League. Ahead of the game against Brighton, Salah was on 292 points for the season and was very close to beating Suarez’s record of 295 points.

And his goal in the first half at Anfield meant that he overtook the former Liverpool striker’s tally which he set in the 2013/14 season. Salah ended up breaking the 300-point barrier for the first time ever as he ended the season on 303, which will take some beating.
‘They say I didn’t have success here the first time,’ Salah said after receiving his Premier League Golden Boot trophy. ‘So it was always in my mind to have success here in the Premier League. ‘I am very happy. I am very proud to win it.’
