Antoine Griezmann believes it is time he won a trophy after Atletico Madrid reached the Europa League final.
Atletico knocked out Arsenal in the semi-finals 2-1 on aggregate after a 1-0 home win in the second leg and will now take on Marseille in Lyon on May 16.
Griezmann was part of the Atletico side which lost the Champions League final on penalties to Real Madrid in 2016 and he has yet to win a major piece of silverware with Diego Simeone's side.
"We need to go and win this final," said Griezmann. "We will try to do things well and to win the Europa League and I'll try to win a trophy, as it's time.
"It's very hard [to reach the final] and you have to fight in every match.”
The France international, who was third in the Ballon d'Or voting in 2016, has been linked with a summer transfer and the Europa League final could be his last opportunity for major success with Atletico.
Barcelona have been heavily linked with an approach for Griezmann and the Catalan club have won the Champions League, three La Liga titles and four consecutive Copa Del Reys since the Euro 2016 top scorer joined Atletico in 2014.
Like Griezmann, goalkeeper Jan Oblak has also been linked with a summer departure, with Arsenal reported to be among the clubs showing an interest.
Oblak also played in the Champions League final shoot-out defeat by Real and was part of the Benfica team which lost the 2014 Europa League final to Sevilla.
"Every title is important and I hope we win this one," said Oblak
“I am hungry to win titles and I want to win as many as I can.
"We have shown that we can win titles.
“It looks easy, but what we've done isn't.”
