She was a close friend and muse to the designer.
So it was no wonder Naomi Campbell was the guest of honour at a private view of Azzedine Alaia: The Couturier at The Design Museum in London on Wednesday.
The 47-year-old supermodel looked phenomenal in a white midi dress that skimmed over her phenomenal figure.
Cinching in at her slender waist, the garment skimmed over her frame to mid-calf length, cinching in at her tiny waist with a skinny belt.
The dress featured a tuxedo style neckline to show off her cleavage, whilst she drew further attention to her decotellage with a delicate necklace.
Naomi injected some colour with a pair of patterned black and white heels, whilst she finished off the look by slicking her glossy raven locks into a half up style.
The glamorous evening took place to celebrate the work of Tunisian couture designer Azzedine Alaïa, who passed away in November last year at the age of 82.
Azzedine became a pioneer in fashion for his focus on 'discreet luxury' in his designs, choosing to focus on designing clothes rather than delve into the work of 'it bags.'
After a break from designing in the 1990s following the death of his sister, Azzedine returned to his work following a partnership with Prada group in 2000.
