Khloe Kardashian’s closest friend has taken a thinly veiled swipe at basketball player Tristan Thompson amid claims that he repeatedly cheated on the heavily pregnant socialite.
Thompson, 27, has been widely slammed after video and images emerged of the Cleveland Cavaliers star kissing various women, including one who claims to be expecting his child.
Heavily pregnant Khloe, 33, is said to be devastated by his alleged philandering as she prepares for the birth of their first child, and childhood friend Khadijah Haqq – the sister of former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Malika Haqq – has since posted a pointed quote on Instagram
Taking a line from former basketball player John Wooden’s book, Wooden: A Lifetime of Observations and Reflections on and off the Court, she posted: ‘The best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother.’
The post appeared to be a dig at Thompson, who was booed and jeered by his own supporters while playing for the Cavaliers against the New York Knicks on Wednesday evening.
Khloe is due to give birth any day now, while also dealing with the fact that her longtime boyfriend allegedly cheated on her with multiple women.
