Fans were calling it Beychella and according to the numbers, they were right.
Beyonce's LIVE Coachella performance attracted more than 458,000 simultaneous viewers to YouTube on Saturday night—breaking the record for most views of a single performance in the history of the festival.
The 36-year-old singer was also the first black woman to headline the iconic Palm Springs event.
Coachella is now the most viewed music festival in the history of YouTube.
More than 43.1 million people from 232 countries livestreamed weekend one that was headlined by The Weeknd, Beyonce, and Eminem.
Beyonce's performance brought views up a whopping 75 percent in comparison to Lady Gaga's main stage appearance last year.
Unfortunately, the Beyonce two-hour event was a one-time deal.
The performance, while record breaking, is not available to fans for on demand YouTube consumption.
And although the songstress is slated to perform during weekend two of Coachella, traditionally the festival only livestreams its first weekend.
