Wayne and Coleen Rooney's new £20million six-bedroom mansion continues to take shape

He already lives in a £6 million Cheshire abode.
Yet footballer Wayne Rooney clearly wants bigger and better for his recently-expanded family - as the on-going construction of his new six-bedroom mansion proves.
The sportsman, 32, is bankrolling the ambitious build in Manchester's sprawling countryside and aerial photos show the property taking shape.
And, perhaps unsurprisingly, the £20 million project is packed full with envy-inducing amenities which make his current address look modest.
Spread over a whopping 40-acre site, these include a hot tub, gym and swimming pool, plus two fishing lakes and a football pitch.

Images from the building site - which is currently surrounded by scaffolding and masonry - show serious progress being made on the plans.
Two floors of the main building have already been completed and are just awaiting the roof, while surrounding structures are also forming.
Specifically, the full-size swimming pool has been installed, while a garage block and stable complex are also taking shape.

Due to be completed in the coming months, the property will also boast a library, study, an orangery, a plunge pool, wine cellar, underground steam room, cinema, snooker room and private lift.
That's in addition to a grand entrance, sweeping staircase and mega-basement.
The ambitious move, which will see the family relocate before the end of the year, comes after their Cheshire home was targeted by thieves in August 2016.
Sources claim the family never felt safe afterwards, so decided to build their own fortress-inspired base in a discreet location.
