Kim Kardashian unleashes avalanche of childhood photographs - ruining the past for everyone

There used to be a time when no one in the world even knew who the Kardashians were.

But now Kim has gone and destroyed that blissful period of existence by sharing an avalanche of photos from her childhood.

Those who despise the Kardashian clan and their endless infection of television, social media and headlines will be disappointed to have their memories of the 1980s and ‘90s marred after 37-year-old Kim shared snaps from her childhood on Instagram.

Not content with dominating the current social media obsessed world we live in today, Kim decided it was time to pollute history as well as she shared an old photo album online.

“How cute. I'm going through all these old photos,” Kim declared as she sifted through family snaps and Polaroids on her Instagram Stories.

“Me and Kourtney, you guys I look like twins with Chicago it's not even funny,” the star - famous for making a sex tape in 2003 - chuckled, referencing her own recent daughter via surrogate.

Among the images shared were snaps of Kim with her siblings wearing bold colours - a popular trend in the 1980s.

While ripped denim shorts and black evening dresses of the 1990s are also displayed in the array of snaps - with Kim admitting she was inspired by iconic 90s film Clueless for how she dressed.

Numerous photos from within a photo booth suggest that even at a young age, the reality star was obsessed with selfies.

Many fans leapt on the innocent images of Kim - which show her facial features looking strikingly different.

The star has long been dogged with rumours that she has undergone extensive plastic surgery in pursuit of what she thinks equates beauty.

Singling out one image of Kim as a teenager, one fan wrote: "So beautiful! Hollywood made you think you were not perfect and you have been striving for that since."

Another wrote: “she did not even need that plastic surgery,” with another asking: "Why the path of surgery?"

Fans were also shocked to see Kim share a photo of Jake Gyllenhaal.

“Oh my god, Jake Gyllenhaal,” Kim announced, pointing to Jake and pausing for a brief second before going on to talk about herself even more.

Fans were surprised that the pair appeared to have been childhood school friends.

"Wait why is Jake Gyllenhaall there?” one alarmed fan wrote.
