Rihanna wipes away tears as she attends funeral of cousin Tavon Alleyne

Rihanna has been seen attending the emotional funeral of her cousin Tavon Alleyne at home in Barbados.

The family and friends attending the service were seen mostly wearing white at the celebration of Tavon’s life, who died aged just 21. Tavon was shot dead on Boxing Day, just a day after she’d spent Christmas with him celebrating. Rihanna, who wore a white dress, was seen overcome with emotion, dabbing tears away from underneath white sunglasses as they Tavon was laid to rest. She later uploaded two images to Instagram, one of the floral arrangement in honour of her cousin, and one a picture of him, which said: ‘Sleep well buddy…we are at peace knowing you’re in a better place than we are.’
