Paris Hilton is officially off the market as boyfriend Chris Zylka proposes in Aspen

Well, guys, looks like one of the last OG bachelorettes is off the market – Paris Hilton is engaged. She’s had a colourful dating life, but now the 36-year-old is ready to settle down, after boyfriend actor Chris Zylka, 32, proposed while on vacation in Colorado over the New Year break. In a statement to People, Paris confirms the happy news, saying: ‘I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my life and my best friend. ‘I have never felt so happy, safe and loved. He is perfect for me in every way and showed me that fairytales really do exist!’ While posing for a happy snap while skiing in Aspen, Paris explained how Chris got down on one knee.

She says: ‘I was so excited and surprised! I immediately said yes!’ Of the giant sparkler now adorning her ring finger, she added: ‘The ring was so gorgeous and sparkling. I was shaking as I put it on. It is the most beautiful ring that I have ever seen!’ Over the weekend the heiress teased as to some potential news, posting her trademark catchphrase ‘That’s hot’ to Twitter not long before the clock struck midnight and a new year began.
