Hilarious memes mocking Ighalo’s missed chances during Nigeria Vs Argentina match

Nigeria is out of the 2018 World Cup, after losing 2-1 to Argentina on Tuesday night in Saint Petersburg.
The Super Eagles needed to avoid defeat to qualify for the round of 16, but were unable to hold on at 1-1, after Victor Moses’ penalty cancelled out Lionel Messi’s opener.
The most painful part of the match was when Odion Ighodalo had two golden opportunities with the score at 1-1, before Marcos Rojo sealed victory for Argentina.

How Nigerians reacted to Super Eagles’ loss to Argentina

Nigerians have reacted to the Super Eagles’ 2 – 1 loss to Argentina on different social media platforms in the on-going FIFA World Cup 2018.
Argentine Captain, Lionel Messi, had put his side ahead with a 14 minutes strike.
But, Victor Moses leveled up for the Eagles through a penalty kick six minutes into the second half.
However, Rojo gave the South Americans their first win of the tournament with a clinical finish less than 10 mins to the final whistle.
In reaction, some Nigerians expressed sadness over the outcome of the game, but a good number of citizens were either indifferent or positive in spite of the Super Eagles’ exit from the tournament.

Lionel Messi: We always knew we would beat Nigeria

Lionel Messi has insisted Argentina never doubted for a moment they would beat Nigeria and escape from Group D. 

Argentina needed an 86th minute winner from defender Marcos Rojo to snatch victory and secure a place in the last-16 of the World Cup. 

It was a late, late escape for Argentina, who have underperformed in the tournament and had been unable to rely solely on Messi’s greatness in the first two group games.

However, Messi was back to his best against Nigeria and inspired his country to a scintillating fightback. 

The Barcelona superstar spoke to the media after the game and admitted the result was a massive relief after a difficult few days. 

‘It was a difficult match because of the results before and many other things that have been said,’ Messi explained.

‘We knew it was going to be difficult but fortunately we have achieved our aim. ‘We didn’t think that we were going to suffer as much as we have. 

We were quite confident that we would be able to go through and fortunately it became true.’ He added: ‘We knew God was with us and wasn’t going to let us go out. 

I thank all the fans that are here, for all their sacrifice and to all those in Argentina that were always with us. The shirt of the national team is above all else.’

Tristan Thompson is at it again with the heart melting posts, as he shared an adorable video of him cuddling up to baby True. 

The basketball player can be seen showering his little girl with kisses as he tells her that he loves her. In the clip he holds the baby in his arms and says: ‘Baby True! Daddy loves you!’ as he snuffles into her little face. 

True stares into the camera while her dad pecks her a number of times on the cheek.

The father-of-two has just introduced the little one to his other child Prince. In a picture shared by the 24-year-old, Tristan can be seen holding on to both of his kids, as he perches them on either one of his knees. 

He appeared to be in high spirits as he beamed for the snap, cradling his children with a basketball in between his legs. He then went on to share another picture of Prince kissing his little sister. 

The snap revealed two endearing Polaroids of the tots seemingly getting along with one another.

Fans were quick to comment on the pictures, and called the moment shared between his babies ‘beautiful’. 

One wrote: ‘So sweet they’re holding hands just beautiful.’ Another commented: ‘Awwww he holding his little sister’s hand.’ Someone else said: ‘This is one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen.’

Terry Crew Reacts To 50 Cent Mocking Him Over Sexual Assault

Actor Terry Crew has shared his reaction to 50 Cent mocking him over his sexual assault.
Last year, Crew became a part of the #MeToo movement in Hollywood after he claimed that an agent sexually assaulted him at an event. He has since filed a lawsuit against Hollywood talent agent Adam Venit. 50 Cent is up to his usual antics on Instagram and decided to mock the actor in a post which drew criticism. “LOL, What the f**k is going on out here man?” the G-Unit rapper wrote. “Terry: l froze in fear,they would have had to take me to jail. get the strap.”
TMZ caught up with Terry Crew a short time later in Washington, D.C. and asked him about 50 Cent, but instead of clapping back, the Everybody Hate Chris actor kept it classy. “Well, I love 50 Cent. I listen to his music while I’m working out,” he said. “I’ve proved that size doesn’t matter when it comes to sexual assault.”
50 Cent has since removed the post after getting a backlash for it. The Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ rapper is getting ready for the premiere of the new season of his hit TV show, Power, so it make sense to avoid controversies right now. Power premiere on Starz on July 1st.

Nicki posted a photo of the Rich Gang Manager and Birdman on her Instagram page while expressing the shock and disbelief of his passing on Tuesday. “Don’t think I’ve ever seen Baby w/o you standing by somewhere very close to him,” Nicki wrote. “You epitomize loyalty & friendship. Such a genuine person. Can’t believe you’re gone. Rest In Peace @ceelowthegr8t (if you know, you know). Tell the ppl you love how much you love them while they’re alive.”

Khloe Kardashian has broken her silence on why she stayed with Tristan Thompson after he cheated on her during her pregnancy.
You can recall the outraged a few months ago when a video surfaced showing the NBA star with another woman at the club. A few weeks after that, he was spotted with Khloe Kardashian and that caused even more outraged. One of her fans on Twitter, Queen Persia, tweeted at her on Tuesday asking her why she stayed with her cheating boyfriend.
“Love, adore & root for @khloekardashian but I’m so disappointed she stayed with that wasteman Tristan,” Persia wrote. “She preaches about women knowing their self worth and when to walk away but when it’s time to walk the walk, she’s a hypocrite.”
It didn’t take long for Khloe Kardashian to respond saying, “Not exactly, Queen Persia. you have no knowledge of what goes on in our household or the enormous rebuilding this takes to even coexist.
