Kanye West tweets unseen photos from inside his home and Kim's not happy

by , in

Kanye West shared unseen photos from inside his multi-million dollar mansion on Twitter last night leaving wife Kim Kardashian unimpressed.
The rapper shared photographs from inside of the couple's California estate with his 27.9 million followers during a series of tweets.
The mansion, which is reportedly worth an estimated £43 million, has never been showcased to the public before.
He tweeted: "Do this look like the sunken place?" accompanied by three images of the interior of their home.
The 'sunken place' is a reference to the 2017 horror film Get Out.
However wife Kim Kardashian was quick to scould Kanye, publicly replying to his tweets and reminding him that they had a rule not to show their home on social media.
She wrote: "Ummm babe. We had a rule to not show our home on social media! Soooo can we now allow KUWTK filming in the home?"
The rapper famously refused to allow filming inside their family home for the reality star's hit TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The fashion mogul rarely makes an appearance on the hit series despite camera crews following the entire Kardashian clan around.

Jay-Z's mother Gloria Carter is to receive the Special Recognition Award at New York's 2018 GLAAD Media Awards.
The 48-year-old rapper's parent will be presented with the honour to recognise her brave journey coming out as a gay woman of colour at the annual LGBT ceremony on May 5 at the New York Hilton Midtown hotel.
On accepting the award, Gloria will take to the stage to talk about coming out and how it impacted on her's and her family's life.
GLAAD's president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said: ''By sharing her truth with the world, Gloria Carter increased visibility of lesbian women of colour at a critical time and sent a powerful message of empowerment to the entire LGBTQ community.
''Her story and the unconditional love that her family exhibits resonate with so many. The GLAAD Media Awards will be a critical platform to honour her work and further this important message.''
Gloria revealed she identifies as a lesbian when she duetted with her son on his track 'Smile' - which appeared on his latest album '4:44' - in which the pair celebrate her sexuality, and revealed what it was like to keep quiet for the sake of Gloria's brood.
The 'Encore' hitmaker - who has six-year-old daughter
Blue Ivy, and 10-month-old twins Rumi and Sir with his wife Beyonce - previously admitted he ''really cried'' when his mother came out to him, as he was ''so happy for her''.

And he opened up on the emotional heart-to-heart the pair had when his mother told him her secret, admitting he is happy she can now be ''free''.
He said: ''Imagine having to live your life as someone else and you think you're protecting your kids. And for my mother to have to live as someone that she wasn't and hide and protect her kids ... [she] didn't want to embarrass her kids for all this time. And for her to sit in front of me and say, 'I think I love someone...' I mean, I really cried. That's a real story.
''I cried because I was so happy for her that she was free. This happened eight months ago when the album was being made. She told me. I made the song the next day.''

''Igbos will benefit more if President Buhari leaves office'' ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo says

by , in

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo believes Nigerians from the South East region will benefit the most if President Buhari is voted out of office in 2019. Obasanjo who has made it known he is not in support of President Buhari's re-election bid, yesterday said voting President Buhari out come 2019 is in the best interest of the Igbos. He made this known  when he spoke at a meeting of the Coalition of Nigerian Movement  CNM in Awka, Anambra State,
Speaking through the South East coordinator of CNM, Dr. Okey Nwosu, the ex-president asked the people of the zone not to believe the lie being sold that the region will produce the next president come 2023, that is after Presidnet Buhari must have done a second term.
“The meeting is a wake-up call for Nd’Igbo to dump APC and collaborate with CNM, which is the best alternative for their rescue from poverty, hunger, recklessness and ethnic cleansing in the hands of the Hausa/Fulani marauders. Every Nigerian leader is very much embarrassed with the state of the nation where people are attacked, killed, raped and made refuges in their own homes. Political leaders must advocate action against these senseless killings and seek how to design a new democratic action plan to ensure we take care of this conundrum democratically, and say, ‘Enough is enough.’ If unchecked, these unethical activities will lead to the destruction of the country. It does not augur well for Nigeria’s development.” he said

Rape lawsuit against Russell Simmons dropped

by , in

One of Russell Simmons' rape accusers has dropped the $5 million lawsuit she filed against him.
Jennifer Jarosik, an aspiring documentary filmmaker who accused Russell Simmons of rape asked the court today to dismiss the lawsuit.

Jennifer filed a civil suit in U.S. District Court in January, accusing the music executive of rape and sexual battery when she approached Simmons seeking help in producing and financing a film.

She alleged that the founder of Def Jam Recordings befriended her, invited her to his Los Angeles home under the pretext of discussing the film project, and then assaulted and raped her. The lawsuit sought $5 million in damages.
Simons denied raping her and said that on the occasions when they had sex, it was consensual.

On Wednesday, April 25, 2018, Jennifer dropped her claim. Both Simmons and Jarosik asked that the case be dismissed, suggesting some settlement had been reached. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Simmons and Jennifer "filed a joint stipulation of dismissal with prejudice."
Simmons still faces another $10 million lawsuit for raping an unnamed accuser. He has denied all of the many sexual misconduct claims made against him.
