Music stars like Adele, Iggy Azalea, Chance the Rapper, and Sam Smith are in awe of Beyonce's historic performance at Coachella 2018.
Bey set the Internet ablaze Saturday night (April 14) with a career-defining headlining set that included appearances by JAY-Z, Destiny's Child, and Solange -- not to mention bringing out 100 dancers to back her up on stage.
Adele shared several boomerangs of herself rocking out to the live stream on Instagram, while Chance the Rapper shared his utter amazement of the spectacular performance.
"I just saw the greatest show to ever happen @beyonce," Chance tweeted.

If you were among the many that livestreamed Beyoncé’s performance at Coachella, also now known as Beychella, then you can probably relate to Adele. In three consecutive posts on Instagram, Adele shared some hair whipping, booty shaking boomerangs — which is pretty much the reaction any of us ever have while watching Beyoncé perform.
There is no denying the confidence that Beyoncé brings to every performance, something I’d like to describe as a glowing aura. But it wouldn’t be so far off to say that she bestows the same self-assured feeling on her fans. And that’s what Adele’s second post captures perfectly. Beyoncé’s music and her stage presence makes us want to feel just as empowered, especially while dancing.
She’s always embraced her figure, even if it doesn’t meet society’s standards of an ideal body type. So to see her have a huge platform and proudly share that with the world is exactly what women need. If Adele’s Instagram posts are any indication of the kind of influence that Beyoncé has on female viewers, then the world is ready for more strong-minded women proud to flaunt their assets, whether physically or intellectually.

Adele and Beyoncé have already acknowledged their support for one another, so these posts don’t really come as a surprise. When Adele won Album of the Year at the 2017 Grammys, she dedicated her speech to Beyoncé, calling her “the artist of her life.” And when Beyoncé attended the premiere of Beauty and the Beastfans noticed that her daughter, Blue Ivy, had a small “25” embroidered on her dress in honor of Adele’s album.
Adele always keeps it real, wearing her heart on her sleeve for music and art that she loves. We can relate.

Beyonce becomes first black woman to headline Coachella – and it’s now called #Beychella

by , in

Beyoncé has made history as the first black woman to headline Coachella, giving the music festival a new name: #Beychella.
As well as becoming the first black woman to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California, Bey was only the third female solo act to headline, after Björk and Lady Gaga.
But wait, there’s more…
She also reunited with Destiny’s Child for the band’s 20th anniversary, and was joined on stage by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to perform songs including Lose My Breath, Say My Name and Soldier.
It’s the first time they have appeared together since the Stellar Gospel Music Awards in 2015. Destiny’s Child are one of the most successful female groups ever, with 14 UK Top 40 songs and two UK Number 1 songs.
Beyoncé also performed Lift Every Voice and Sing – which is often referred to as America’s ‘Black National Anthem’, and teamed up on stage with her sister Solange.
During her two-hour set, she also paid tribute to Nina Simone, spotlighted Malcolm X quotes, and treated fans to hits including Crazy in Love, Irreplaceable, Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It), Drunk in Love, and Formation.
For very obvious reasons, fans were stunned and praised Bey on Twitter…
One wrote: “The Black National Anthem. Malcolm X quotes. Nina Simone samples. Stepping and marching bands. Jigga for the deja vu. A Destiny’s Child reunion. A Solange dance collabo. The greatest living entertainer is a Black woman named Beyonce. This is not up for debate.#Beychella“.

Another shared: “What Beyoncé did by transitioning ‘Lift Every Voice & Sing’ into ‘Formation’ is remind the world that no matter how lit ‘Formation’ is & has always been its purpose is to empower Black women. The way things get appropriated around here, it was appreciated & necessary. #BeyChella”.
