Fire at Trump Tower in NYC on 50th Floor, One Person Dead

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... a 67-year-old man has died in the fire. According to FDNY, he was the occupant of the 50th floor apartment where the fire occurred. The fire's reportedly under control but smoke conditions on the floors above are still being dealt with.

FDNY remains on the scene of the 4-alarm fire, and along with one serious civilian injury ... 4 non-life-threatening injuries to firefighters have been reported.

Trump may have spoke too soon, because FDNY's reporting the Trump Tower fire's now a 4-alarm, and there's been at least one serious injury to a civilian.

The Prez says the fire at Trump Tower is out, adding ... "Very confined (well built building). Firemen (and women) did a great job. THANK YOU!"

Donald Trump's got another fire to deal with ... this time a literal one at his Trump Tower in NYC.

The famous skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan is ablaze -- reportedly on its 50th floor -- and witnesses say it started off looking small with just a little bit of smoke ... then doubled in seconds.

The fire was initially labeled as a 2-alarm fire ... but has recently been upgraded to a 3-alarm fire by FDNY. There are currently no injuries reported.

Trump Tower serves as the headquarters for The Trump Organization, and many members of the President's family live there or have lived there.

It's unclear at this time what caused the fire, but fire trucks are on the scene and cops have blocked off the streets surrounding the building.

Paris Hilton celebrates Paris Jackson's birthday with fiance Chris Zylka and her parents

They both share the same name, and both are daughters of famous parents.

And on Friday, Paris Hilton stepped out at Hyde Sunset in LA for pal Paris Jackson's 20th birthday.

The hotel heiress was joined by fiance Chris Zylka and parents Richard and Kathy Hilton.

Paris, 37, wore a lace, lilac, two-part dress layered under a matching cardigan.

The pretty blonde wore her shoulder-length hair down and parted near the middle.

The New York City native completed her look with dark pumps and a large diamond necklace.

Paris took to Instagram to share snaps from the celebratory evening.

The Simple Life star stopped for a selfie with Paris Jackson, as the two posed with white-rimmed sunglasses.

'Celebrating with the beautiful #BirthdayGirl,' she wrote for the photo's caption.

Also along for the evening was the professional DJ's love, Chris Zylka. 32.

Paris had nothing short of sweet words for her fiance of three months, and expressed her appreciation for him on Instagram.

'To look into that persons eyes & find yourself so completely lost in another world. A world that is beautiful & full of absolute comfort & happiness.#TrueLove,' she wrote.

Chris recently spoke to TMZ about a prenup, and revealed that he will be signing one.

'Well any gentleman that's about to marry a very wealthy and well-established businesswoman wouldn't be a gentleman to bring up a prenup in the first place. So yes of course, we're gonna have one...' he said.

JAY-Z still unhappy with final version of Young Forever

JAY-Z has never been happy with the way his 2009 track Young Forever turned out, even though it's become a big hit.

The platinum-certified song, which featured on his album The Blueprint 3, was a collaboration with singer Mr. Hudson and remains a fan favourite, with the hip-hop icon frequently choosing to close his live shows with the tune.

However, JAY-Z, real name Shawn Carter, confesses he has mixed feelings about performing Young Forever, because the final cut didn't turn out quite how he wanted it to.

Discussing the craftmanship behind his recording process, he tells talk show host David Letterman, "Sometimes it happens immediately, sometimes songs happen in three minutes..., and then songs (like) Forever Young (sic) took me about a month to finish.

"It's like, 'Man, I can never finish this song,' and it never turned out the way I wanted it, and it went on to be a really successful song for me, but... it still bothers me that I didn't finish it the way I wanted to."

Meanwhile, during the candid interview for Letterman's new Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, JAY-Z reveals he developed his love of the English language as a young school student, thanks to the encouragement of his teacher Renee Lowden.

"I had a sixth grade teacher, her name was Ms. Lowden, and I just loved the class so much," he recalls. "I'd read the dictionary and just (because of) my love of words, I just connected with her."

He even briefly considered becoming an English teacher, because he thought it would earn him a decent living: "She took us to her house on a field trip, and she had (an) ice (maker) in the refrigerator way back when no one had it," he smiles. "I thought, 'Ah man, I might be an English teacher!'"

Fat Joe Says Jaden Smith Is A “Hip Hop Pioneer” Fans Disagree

Fat Joe has labeled Will Smith son Jaden Smith a hip hop pioneer and here is his reasoning.

So Fat Joe, who is a legend in hip hop in his own right, but this statement is not sitting well with some hip hop fans. There maybe some truth to his argument in terms of Jaden Smith being one of only a few successful hip hop artists offspring carrying on their parents legacy and being able to make a name for themselves. But to place him among the greats like DJ Kool Herc, the Jamaican who founded hip hop, and Run-D.M.C., Grandmaster Flash, Slick Rick, and Doug E. Fresh, is a far stretch.

The Terror Squad legend was in Los Angeles recently where he stopped by Power 106 for an interview. During the lengthy discussion, he opened up about Will Smith’s talented son Jaden Smith and his impact on hip hop.

“I told him he is a pioneer in hip hop and what I mean by that is it’s so hard because so many rappers sons tried to rap,” Fat Joe said. “The people immediately will say you’re not Ice Cube you didn’t grow up in Compton, your not Fat Joe you’re not from the Bronx, you’re not Run D.M.C. you’re not from Queens. So no matter how talented the kid is they will just shoot him down.”

Like I said before, I am not taking away anything from Jaden Smith because his last album Syre was magical, but no Fat Joe, he is not a pioneer in hip hop.

Drake Breaks The Internet With Lauryn Hill Sampled Single

Drake came out of nowhere and broke the internet with a Lauryn Hill sampled single.

On Friday night, the OVO rapper dropped his new single “Nice For What” and the music world literally came to a standstill. Drake and “Nice For What” have been the top trending topics on social media for the past 24 hours, which is a clear sign that he is poised for yet another record-breaking week on streaming platforms Apple Music and Spotify.

Cardi B released her debut album Invasion Of Privacy approximately 24 hours before that and all day on Friday that was all we were talking about, but then Drake came and stole the spotlight. “Drake couldn’t give Cardi one whole day? He could have waited until midnight to drop #NiceForWhat,” Charlamagne Tha God tweeted.

The Toronto rapper cast some of the biggest names in Hollywood currently in the music video including Olivia Wilde, Zoe Saldana, Tiffany Haddish, Issa Rae, Michelle Rodriguez, Letitia Wright, Tracee Ellis Ross, Rashida Jones and Emma Roberts, Misty Copeland, Syd, and Zoe Saldana.

The music video was also directed by 22-year-old Karena Evans to complete an all-female empowering production. Drake is a genius for doing making this move in an era where women are taking the spotlight in entertainment. “Nice For What” was produced by Murda Beatz and sampled Lauryn Hill’s 1998 classic single “Ex-Factor” off her iconic album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

Drake is currently holding the number one spot on Billboard Hot 100 chart with “God’s Plan” in its 10th consecutive week at the top of the chart. Yes as rumors state, Nicki was supposed to release new music on April 6 but didn’t want to overshadow Cardi. The music is said to have been pushed back due to Cardi, Drake, and Ariana releasing this month.

Popcaan Thanks Fans, Hits A Million Followers On Instagram

Popcaan reached a milestone one million followers on Instagram this weekend and he is thanking his fans.

Popcaan is only the second dancehall artist to reach a million fans on Instagram. Earlier this year, Spice reached the same level after surging in popularity after crowning herself the new queen of dancehall and joining the cast of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. Spice is now at 1.1 million followers while Poppy just hit the seven figures category.

The Unruly Boss himself has been seeing a surge in popularity on social media thanks to his entertaining and often comedic posts. Last month he went viral for his version of the infamous Macaroni meme. Popcaan says he is feeling good to know that his fan base is growing worldwide and his hard work is paying off. “Social media is the way to reach out to fans in these times so to see that many people support my work means all the hard work is paying off,” he said.

Popcaan is only the second dancehall artist to reach one million followers on Instagram so the achievement is worthy of celebrating.

The “Stray Dog” deejay is currently working on a major project and is getting ready to for his movie debut this summer in “The Intent 2.” He recently wrapped up two well-received performances in St Vincent and Guyana.

Well, it didn't take too long for the lady's identity to be revealed. She has been identified a fitness model and occupational therapist named Chanel.
