Cristiano Ronaldo’s stunning overhead kick had Zinedine Zidane’s jaw on the floor and applause from fans on both sides.

Here’s how social media – and the man himself – reacted to the Real Madrid star’s spellbinding Champions League goal against Juventus.

Adele wore a cape to marry Alan Carr as she shares picture from secret wedding

Adele has confirmed that she was ordained to marry Alan Carr and his husband Paul Drayton – and she wore a gorgeous cape to do it in. Classic. ‘Seeing as the cats out the bag. I married two of my best friends in January. You know me any excuse to dress up… @chattyman #LoveisLove,’ she wrote on Instagram, sharing a picture of her stunning outfit for the big day.

Standing in front of a wall of roses – a la Kim and Kanye – Adele was seen in robes similar to those worn by a priest. Alan revealed the news on Tuesday 3 April, months after he wed his partner Paul. ‘[Adele] said: “I want to do your special day. Let me do everything”. She got ordained and she married us,’ he told Emma Willis and Rylan Clark-Neal on This Morning. ‘She is the kindest, most sweetest, loveliest person ever. She flew us to Vegas to see Celine Dion sing. She sang my first dance. It was the best day of my life.’

The wedding took place in Adele’s back garden in Los Angeles, and it is thought that there were only four people in attendance. A source said at the time that although ‘Alan is hugely eccentric’ when it came to the big day ‘he wanted to keep it as private as possible’. ‘It was a brilliant day and now both Alan and Paul are looking forward to chilling out in South America. ‘It was as intimate as you could imagine with just four guests invited.’

South Africa announces state funeral for Winnie Mandela

The South African government has announced a state funeral for Winnie Nomzamo Madikizela-Mandela, the anti-apartheid campaigner and former wife of the country’s first black president, Nelson Mandela.

“Freedom fighter Winnie Nomzamo Madikizela-Mandela will be laid to rest on 14 April 2018, during a state funeral,” a government statement read.

Ahead of the funeral, an official memorial service of Madikizela-Mandela will take place on 11 April 2018. President Cyril Ramaphosa made the announcement on Monday night after visiting the family home of the former activist in Orlando, Soweto.

“At a national government level, we have declared that Winnie Mandela will have a national official funeral. We would like to express our gratitude and our thanks to the many across the country and the world who are wishing us well,” said President Ramaphosa.

In a televised tribute, Mr. Ramaphosa described Madikizela-Mandela a “champion of justice and equality” whose “dedication to the plight of her people gained her the love and the respect of the nation”.

“For many years‚ she bore the brunt of the senseless brutality of the apartheid state with stoicism and fortitude,” he said. “Despite the hardship she faced‚ she never doubted that the struggle for freedom and democracy would triumph and succeed.

“She remained throughout her life a tireless advocate for the dispossessed and the marginalised. She was the voice for the voiceless.”

The late Winnie who was married to Mandela for 38-years died on Monday at the age of 81 following a “long illness.”

The multi-platinum singer layered a white hoodie underneath while capping things off with a plaid hat.

He kept a dark beard and goatee on his face while dressing things up a bit with studded diamond earrings.

Not exactly known for being predictable, the star climbed upon some railing anhd yelled at his pals while he waited for his ride.

The ex of singer Rihanna was joined by Kylie Jenner's BFF, model Jordyn Woods, and rapper French Montana.

The Wilhelmina Models repped beauty offered up a hint of her flat tummy with a cropped, royal blue windbreaker unzipped to give off a glimpse of cleavage.

She covered her curves in formfitting leggings and wore a pair of highly-coveted Yeezy Wave Runner 700 sneakers.

Adding a bit of glitz, Jordyn wore a gold bangle and matching watch.

1.7m World Cup tickets sold for Russia 2018 – FIFA

World footbal governing body, FIFA says almost 1.7 million tickets have been sold for the World Cup in Russia after some 400,000 were snapped up in the latest sales stage which ended yesrterday.

FIFA said that 394,433 tickets were sold during a first-come, first-served window since March 13. Russians dominated by buying 216,134 of them, followed by fans from the not qualified U.S. (16,462), Argentina (15,006), Colombia (14,755) and Mexico (14,372).

In all, 1,698,049 tickets have now been sold for the June 14 to July 15 tournament in 11 Russian cities, FIFA said, naming overall international demand at 53 per cent. A final sales phase starts April 18, also first come, first-served.

Rob Kardashian 'furious' with Blac Chyna after theme park fight and is 'threatening to take her to court'

Rob Kardashian is said to be 'furious' with Blac Chyna after the mother of his child was filmed lashing out at a woman.

Over the weekend, Chyna launched her stroller at a woman who 'touched' daughter Dream while they enjoyed a day out at a Six Flags theme park in California.

Following the incident, a source told E! News: "Rob is furious with Chyna for putting Dream in danger.

"He plans to file papers to try and get more custody of Dream and to reduce Chyna's child support.

"He hopes the judge will see that he wants what's best for Dream and that he is putting her safety and best interest before anything else."

They added: "Rob feels she needs to have a chaperone when Dream is in her custody to ensure that she is safe."

According to TMZ, Rob also wants 'clear rules' set about what his ex 'can and can't do when the child is present'.

What's more, he's also said to be concerned about Dream being introduced to Chyna's boyfriends too soon, and is apparently seeking an order to prevent their daughter from meeting any of their partners before the six month mark.

Responding to the reports, Chyna's lawyer Lisa Bloom said: "Chyna has the right every mother has to defend her own children from strangers trying to touch them.

"If Rob wants a custody fight, he will have one, and he will regret it. We already beat his sister Kylie in the meritless case she filed against Chyna."
