Linda Ikeji buys a N30million Mercedes Benz GLE for her sister, watch video

Popular Nigerian blogger Linda Ikeji has bought a brand new Mercedes Benz GLE SUV for her sister Sandra Ikeji.

The news of the big purchase was broken by her other sister Laura Ikeji, who is known to always be the first person in the family to reveal any latest gist in the family.

According to Laura, who broke the news via her Instagram page, the SUV is worth a whopping N30million and she looked so excited to show it off to her followers.

Although she mentioned that she is more hard working and should have gotten something a well.

But a look into her social media profile discloses that she is an Events/Weddings/Destinations/ Planning/Cordination planner.

This is surely a big one for the family as it will be recalled that just a week ago, Laura Ikeji bought for herself a brand new Mercedes Benz SUV on her birthday. The jeep which is said to be worth N20million, came as a reward for the hard work she has put into her business, she said.

But sandra shared this on her IG to show how happy she was, thou not expecting anything from anyone and its was not even her birthday.

Oh my God, @officiallindaikeji jst got me a 30m car. This is a huge surprise. I wasn't xpecting anything, it's not even my birthday . I had jst returned from church after a one week powerful retreat and I even came home with a Rev. Fr. Dan who I hadn't seen in almost 20yrs who prescided over the retreat , I had brought him home to meet my family, got home and met the surprise of my life. A brand new Mercedes GLE 350 @mayfaiiirrr. Pep! Lionel Messi leaves Manchester after Argentina's World Cup warm-up win over Italy

Lionel Messi has flown out of Manchester airport after Argentina's 2-0 win over Italy at the Etihad stadium.

The Barcelona man with his teammates are heading to the city of their rivals, Madrid, where they face Spain at Atletico's Wanda Metropolitano on Tuesday night.

Messi didn't feature in the victory, watching the whole game from the stands after being an unused substitute.

After feeling a niggle, Argentina didn't want to risk him so close to the World Cup and there was "zero chance" he would play, according to officials.

Speaking after the game, Messi said: "I always feel like playing but there is a long way to the World Cup.

"I always want to play, but I came here with discomfort."

Zlatan Ibrahimovic reveals David Beckham praise for Los Angeles Galaxy

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that David Beckham had high praise for his spell at Los Angeles Galaxy when the pair were both at Paris Saint-Germain.

On Friday, Ibrahimovic completed a transfer from Manchester United to the MLS side after United agreed to cancel his contract before the end of the season.

Beckham enjoyed a five-year spell at the California-based team between 2007 and 2012, and Ibrahimovic has revealed that the former England captain advised him to move to the club.

The 36-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "I met David when I played at PSG and he talked a lot about Galaxy and the experience he had in America. He was all positive and said 'you should go over and try it out'.

"He said everything is fantastic, in progress but to be part of it is amazing and something he was proud of. These words make it easier when you have to choose your next step.

"This was supposed to happen before but it didn't, but it is happening now so it is the destiny."

Beckham scored 20 goals in 118 appearances during his time in Los Angeles.

A Nigerian lady based in the UK who started a social media campaign encouraging women to embrace their natural saggy boobs has revealed it has triggered some ladies to change their minds about cosmetic surgery.

Chidera Eggerue, from London, appeared on This Morning to discuss her efforts to challenge society’s ‘obsession’ with what perfect breasts should look like, which led her to create the hashtag #SaggyBoobsMatter hashtag.

The 23-year-old social influencer, revealed how, since launching her body positive movement, she’s received messages from women who decided to cancelled consultations with plastic surgeons as a result.

‘I’ve had an overwhelmingly warm, amazing response,’ she told presenters Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes on the ITV daytime show.

‘Specifically from very young teenagers who have told me that when they had come across the hashtag it had stopped them attending a consultation with a plastic surgeon, which was amazing to hear.’

She added:

‘What’s been even more heart-filling was receiving messages from breastfeeding mothers, [who said] that this hashtag has allowed them to feel more beautiful during the process of breastfeeding their child.’

Despite considering cosmetic surgery in the past, Chidera now feels it is time she appreciates her body and lives her life without having regards for what people are saying about her saggy boobs

As a teenage girl it was way too young for me [to be] thinking that there was something wrong with me,’ she said.

She went on to explain:

‘When I was 18 I considered surgery too. I used to say to my mum all the time that when I was 18 that I was going to get a job, save money and get my boobs done.

‘As much as I believe that women deserve complete autonomy over their bodies and if they want to get a breast augmentation that is completely up to them, I do feel, however, that it is a shortcut to accepting yourself.’

The Nigerian lady added:

‘I am reclaiming ownership of every single negative connotation. It’s just an adjective.’
