Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez have spoken out in favour of gun control.
The two singers and friends posted within few hours of each other on Instagram with an image of the March For Our Lives logo.
March For Our Lives is a student-led movement dedicating to ending gun violence.

Swift and Gomez's statements on social media were rare for the two musicians who don't often address politics.
Swift spoke out in an interview with Time earlier this year about her support of the #MeToo movement after her sexual assault trial.
Gomez wore a "Nasty Woman" jacket last year, which was the slogan of Hillary Clinton supporters.
It's unclear how much Swift's donation was to the march and if she or Gomez will be marching.

Justin Bieber was the 'worst guest' on Saturday Night Live

Justin Bieber was the worst guest in the history of 'Saturday Night Live', according to Bill Hader.
The American comedian has claimed that of all the big-name stars who have appeared on the iconic TV show over the years, Justin stands out as the worst.
During an appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen', Bill was asked who he considers to be the worst-behaved celebrity during his time on the show, and he replied: ''It was Bieber.''
Bill, 39, subsequently revealed that the chart-topping singer was ''in a bad place'' in his life when he appeared on the show and that his personal troubles manifested themselves in his bad behaviour.
He explained: ''He just was in a bad place ... Maybe he's in a better place, but back then he was in a very ... it was rough.''
Justin appeared as the host and a musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live' in February 2013.
But Bill explained that, for the most part, the celebrity guests are well behaved.
He said: ''Everybody's usually on great behaviour. Bieber is the only one in my experience ... he just seemed like exhausted or just at the end of a rope.''
During an interview in 2013, Bill hinted at having had issues with Justin and his sizeable entourage.
He explained: ''Justin Bieber showed up with like 20 guys.
''He had a guy holding a slice of pizza. A guy holding a Diet Coke ... You're trying to fight through all these people to get dressed.''
However, he also claimed to have shared some enjoyable moments with the singer.
Bill recalled: ''I had nice chats with him when he was doing the scenes ... he was a nice guy. He would try to do the best that he can.''

Cardi B Rants About What Uncle Sam Is Doing with Her Tax Money: 'I Want Receipts'

Cardi B got political on Instagram Thursday, posting a expletive-filled rantquestioning where her tax dollars were going.
The 25-year-old “Bodak Yellow” rapper brought her signature sass to the black and white video, filmed in what appears to be a hair and makeup chair.


“The government is taking 40 percent of my taxes, and Uncle Sam, I want to know what you’re doing with my f—ing tax money,” she said in the clip. “Because … you know when you donate to a kid from a foreign country, they give you updates [on] what they’re doing with your donation? I want to know what you’re doing with my f—ing tax money.”
“I’m from New York and the streets are always dirty,” the Bronx native continued. “We were voted the dirtiest city in America. What is y’all doing? There’s still rats on the damn trains. I know you’re not spending it in no damn prison because y’all be giving n—— two [pairs of] underwear, one jumpsuit for like five months. So what is ya n—— doing with my f—ing money?”
She finished the clip by speeding up her questions, repeating quickly, “What is ya doing with my f—ing money? I want to know, I want receipts, I want everything! I want to know what ya  n—— doing with my f—ing money. What is ya doing with my f—ingmoney? Uncle Sam I want you to know what the f— you’re doing with my motherf—ing money!”
This isn’t the first time Cardi B has spoken out about her taxes.
Late last year, she posted a video asking that people who owe her money wait until 2018 to pay her so she could avoid the large tax cuts.
“If you owe me a check, hold that motherf—er for 2018,” she said in the clip, which was shared on Twitter by journalist Yashar Ali. “Because the way the motherf—ing IRS is trying to come to me for tax season. Just hold that s—. Hold it for me motherf—er.”

A daughter thought she bought her mum a candle of the Eiffel Tower but it turns out it was in fact in the shape of a penis

A young daughter bought her mum an accidental rude present from France.

During her trip to the French capital, the nine year old thought she was buying her mum an Eiffel Tower candle, but when she gave it to her, her mum didn't know what to do when she saw it was a penis candle.

Justin Bieber's new blonde companion has been hanging out with him at least twice a week ... including getting a little quality time at his place.
Baskin Champion was seen walking to her car Friday afternoon after leaving the Biebs' Beverly Hills home ... and Justin was in tow before hopping in his Lambo. We're told Baskin was at his place for 3 to 4 hours beforehand.
As we reported ... JB and Baskin were also out together Tuesday night on the Sunset Strip. We thought she was a mystery girl at first, but later discovered she's the sister of Abby Champion, who dates Patrick Schwarzenegger, aka Bieber's best bud.

Raped Chrisland school student testifies in court about the "bad things" done to her

The Chrisland school student allegedly raped at the age of 2 years and 11 months by the school's supervisor testified in court on Thursday and confirmed that she was sexually abused.

The child, who is being identified as Child X, was quite eloquent as she recounted the abuse allegedly perpetrated by 47-year-old Mr Adegboyega Adenekan. She said he put his mouth in her "wee wee", put his hand in her "wee wee" and put his "wee wee" in her "wee wee". 

She said the first time was in the school toilet and the second time was in the hall. She said she ran the second time and tried to report to her teacher but the teacher did not believe her so she told her mother.
She said: "I did not like what he did, he put his hand in my wee-wee, he put his wee-wee in my wee-wee and he put his mouth in my wee-wee."

Child X, the pupil allegedly defiled by Adegboyega Adenekan, a 47-year-old Chrisland School supervisor, on Thursday testified at an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence court in Lagos and confirmed that she was abused.
Child X, who is now four-years-old, was two years and 11-months at the time the alleged defilement occurred serially in 2016 at the Victoria Garden City (VGC) branch of the school.
The trial which was slated to begin at 2pm, due to other matters, did not start until 3.26pm. It ended at 5.53pm.
Before Child X’s testimony, Justice Sybil Nwaka, had ordered that members of the public vacate the public gallery of the courtroom. However, she allowed journalists and lawyers to witness the testimony.
When Child X was brought into the courtroom, the judge rose from her bench to sit by a desk opposite Child X.
Justice Nwaka engaging Child X in small talk said: “I love your shoes, we are all your uncle and aunties here. Do you like the building? Do you know why you are here?”
Child X said: “I’m here to talk about the bad things Mr. Adenekan did to me.”
Justice Nwaka responding said: “You know you are here to tell the truth, Jesus loves children and what do your Sunday School teachers tell you?”
Child X: “Always tell the truth.”
Before Child X took oath as a witness, Justice Nwaka repeated to her not to be afraid to tell the truth and that the people in the courtroom are all her friends.
The judge warned journalists against taking photographs, making recordings or revealing the identity of Child X.
The prosecution led by Jide Boye, the Chief State Counsel led the child in evidence by asking a series of questions and getting the following responses from her.
Prosecution: “How old are you?”
Child X: “Four”
Prosecution: “How many schools have you attended?”
Child X: “Two”
Prosecution:” What are the names of the schools?”
Child X: “Chrisland, Grange School”
Prosecution pointing across the room to Adenekan: “Do you know him?”
Child X: “No”
Prosecution: “Who is Mr. Adenekan?”
Child X: “When I go to class after recess, I see Mr. Adenekan after recess”
Prosecution: “What did Mr. Adenekan do to you?”
Child X: “He put his mouth in my wee-wee, the first time he did that, he took me out of the class. The second time, I ran. I tried to report to my teacher but my teacher did not believe me, so I reported to my mummy.
“First time he did it was inside his office which was the toilet, the second time he did it was in the hall which was outside.
“I did not like what he did, he put his hand in my wee-wee, he put his wee-wee in my wee-wee and he put his mouth in my wee-wee.”
The prosecution at this point proceeded to show Child X three photographs, one of which was Adenekan’s.
Child X identified Adenekan’s photograph.
Child X said: “This is Mr. Adenekan, I remember how he used to greet me but I don’t know where he is.”
Prosecution: “How did you feel when he was doing it to you?”
Child X: “I felt I should tell my mummy, I felt pain.”
Prosecution: “When he did it, what were you wearing?”
Child X: “My Chrisland School uniform.”
Prosecution: “Can you describe how he did it to you?”
Child X: “He put his hand under my uniform, he put his hand in my wee-wee, pull my uniform down and it was really, really paining me.
“When it was really, really paining me, I screamed and he covered my mouth like this (demonstrated with hand over her mouth).
“I couldn’t do anything because he covered my mouth. When I was trying to remove it (his hand) he tightened my mouth.”
Prosecution: “Describe his office”
Child X: “I cannot remember.”
The defence counsel, Olatunde Adejuyigbe (SAN) opposed the tendering as evidence, the three photographs shown to Child X during proceedings.
According to him, the prosecution did not comply with Section 86 of the Evidence Act.
In his submission Boye told the court that in accordance with Section 84 of the Evidence Act, photographs are no longer secondary evidence but primary evidence and as a result, the photographs should be admitted as evidence.
In a short ruling Justice Nwaka said: “I cannot agree more with the prosecution. These photographs do not have a certificate. I mark them tendered but rejected.”
While cross-examining Child X, Mr. Adejuyigbe asked her the following questions.
Defence: “Do you like to draw?”
Child X: “I don’t know how to draw yet but I like to draw”
Defence: “You said something really, really pained you, when you got home did you tell your mummy about it?”
Child X: “Yes”
Child X responding to Mr. Adejuyigbe’s questions, recalled some of her pre-school teachers at Chrisland School.
Defence: “Did anyone tell you before that he will kill you?”
Child X: “I don’t know what that means”
Defence: “Did you see Mr. Adenekan today?”
Child X: “I only saw him in the picture.”
Defence: “Do you know there are three tables in Mr. Adenekan’s office?”
Child X: “No”
Defence: “His office is not near your class, do you remember?”
Child X: “No”
Defence: “Have you entered Mr. Adenekan’s office before?”
Child X: “Only when he did the bad things to me”
Defence: “Did he take anyone else with you?”
Child X: “No”
Defence: “Did you take your mummy to any corner?”
Child X: “No when I told her what happened to me, she changed my school.”
Defence: “Does your aunty (name withheld) bath for you?”
Child X: “Sometimes her but every time my mummy.”
Defence: “Have you seen the police before?”
Child X: “I have seen them guarding the door at the gate before I enter my school gate.”
Defence: “Is there a doctor’s office at your school?”
Child X: “Yes”
Defence: “Do you go to the toilet alone in school?”
Child X: “When I want to go by myself they (teachers) still follow me”
Defence: “Did anyone tell you what to say when you get here?”
Child X: “No”
Earlier during the cross-examination of Child X’s mother, the video in which Child X was portraying her alleged defilement at a clinical psychologist’s office was replayed in court by the defence.
The mother (name withheld) admitted to the defence that some parts of the sessions of Child X’s interview with the clinical psychologist were not recorded.
“At the time she started drawing the private part, I can confirm to you that I was in the corner of the room and I only asked my child questions regarding the defendant’s name,” she said.
The mother also told the court that she reported to the police that the defendant took her child to a corner in the school where he allegedly defiled her.
“I mentioned the corner to the police and it is in my statement. Like I said before, I initially wanted to cover it up.
“I mentioned it to the school authorities but I later told them to forget it that it never happened.
“I was afraid of people like you (pointing at the SAN), it is a shameful act,” she tearfully said.
Justice Sybil Nwaka adjourned the case until May 21 for continuation of trial at 11am

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding invitation revealed

Kensington Palace has revealed the wedding invitation for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding which will hold on May 19, 2018.

The invitation was issued in the name of His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales (Prince Harry's father). The card invited guests to the service at St George's Chapel and to the lunchtime reception at St George's Hall, which is being given by Her Majesty The Queen. 

Later that evening, around 200 guests will attend a private reception given by Prince Charles at Frogmore House on the castle grounds (where the couple took their engagement photos).
Following many years of Royal tradition, the invitation cards were made by Barnard & Westwood.

Sharing the card, Kensington Palace wrote:

T-Boss shares love letter Black Bassey wrote to her while they were in the BBNaija house

Former BBNaija housemate, T-Boss, has shared a throwback photo of a letter that fellow housemate Bassey wrote to her while they were in the Big Brother Naija house last year.

The letter has the possibility of leaving you smiling from ear to ear. It's quite romantic and reminiscent of those good old days when people still wrote romantic letters. Bassey sure has his way with words.
The letter which was folded has "Kiss before you open" written on the back.
The letter itself reads:
"Dear T-Boss,
"I smile ear to ear as I pick up my pen from the basket of love to write you pages of seemingly endless thoughts I have about you.
"I hope this letter meets you in good health, if so, dittomatic.
"They say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and we find love in the strangest most un-imaginable places and people. Your beauty and simplicity permeates through your glowing smiles which expose your set of perfect teeth, leaving a dimple on both sides of your sensual cheeks. This sinks my heart a few more feet into my soul as I appreciate God who created the chest so my heart doesn't fall literally at your feet.
"I may not have the right words to interpret my emotions and for how madly in love I have become with you but I sure won't be quiet about it none-the-less. The sparkle in your eyes makes me believe that your mother is a thief cos she stole the stars and put them in your eyes.

He signed off with the drawing of a heart with an arrow piercing through the centre.

T-Boss shared the letter with the caption: "#flashbackfriday to that time in the #BBN house when @blackbassey wrote me a really chesssy ass love letter??. I enjoyed reading it so much & it brought back such memories?, who else used to receive or write such? Ps: Letters were thaaa Ishhhh though... Yeah Yeah Yeahhh, I still have it, I already admitted to being a hoarder?, you should see what else I hoard???"
