Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg broke his silence over the Cambridge Analytica scandal on Wednesday but did not apologize for the fact that 51 million Facebook users' information was taken without their knowledge.
In a lengthy post, Zuckerberg offered his timeline of the events which led to the revelation this week that the shadowy data firm which shaped Trump's campaign and has been linked to Brexit improperly harvested tens of millions of users' data in 2013 by buying it from an app.

He said 'the good news' was that Facebook changed its practices years ago to stop apps from accessing so much information. He however did acknowledge that the breach happened under his watch and said the company was now working on ways to win back users' trust.
'I started Facebook, and at the end of the day I'm responsible for what happens on our platform. 'I'm serious about doing what it takes to protect our community. While this specific issue involving Cambridge Analytica should no longer happen with new apps today, that doesn't change what happened in the past. 'We will learn from this experience to secure our platform further and make our community safer for everyone going forward,' he said.
His announcement sent Facebook's struggling stock back up to $169.39 before the final bell. At 1.30pm, after news emerged that he was due to address the scandal, the stock surpassed the $170 mark for the first time since Monday. Before the scandal, it was $185.
In his statement, Zuckerberg said that while it was 'his responsibility' what happened at Facebook, the company was duped by Aleksandr Kogan, the researcher who sold the information to Cambridge Analytica, just as the people who gave him their details were.

Kim Kardashian visited her husband Kanye West at his Wyoming studio yesterday after grocery shopping with her sister Kourtney earlier in the day.
The couple looked gloomy in photos taken of them. In the photo, Kanye is seen with blonde and pink hair and he seems to be growing out his beard. Kim had on a bra top, latex black biker shorts, peach coat, and large sunglasses.
Kanye is rumored to be working in Wyoming on new music. Reports say he's eager to release something "very soon".
A source said: "He thinks by being at the mountains, he doesn’t have many distractions and can have a more clear sense of direction for his music. Jéssica Lorena Dias Lourenço, the daughter of Angolan President chartered a $ 200,000 private plane to deliver her baby in Washington, private media reported Monday.

A pastor was caught on video at a strip club and, based on what he was seen doing, he certainly wasn't there to evangelize.
As though it wasn't bad enough that he was there at all, he was seen getting handsy with one of the strippers.
In the video which has now gone viral, the popular Homestead, Florida pastor is seen standing close to the stage to get a close look at the strippers as they dirty danced. He is soon seen touching one of the stripper's butt and slapping her butt cheeks. He then proceeded to count out some money to throw at the stripper.
The video is quite blurry, but his church members reportedly recognized him and the church council held an emergency meeting to address the scandal.

Questions were asked after Brandy Norwood and her mother Sonja Norwood were absent at Ray J and Princess Love's baby shower and sources revealed that they missed it because of some tweets Princess posted where she insinuated that Ray J was cheating. TMZ reports that on the day before the baby shower, Princess told Brandy and Sonja to stay out of her problem with Ray J, so they chose not to attend the baby shower.

Noble has been using his online platform to criticize Ahneeka's personal hygiene and the evicted BBNaija housemate replied his criticisms in a video which went viral yesterday. She said she wonders how Noble will feel if someone insults his wife and daughter the way he's done to her.
