Arsenal fans even more disgusted with Piers Morgan than normal after Trump tweet

by , in
Arsenal fans rarely pass up the opportunity to lay into Piers Morgan and his tweet about recruiting Donald Trump as a Gooner presented them with the perfect chance.

During his recent interview with Donald Trump (*gags*), Morgan presented the President of the United States with an Arsenal shirt, which had his name on the back, and asked him to be our new manager.
*WORLD EXCLUSIVE*
The moment I invite President Trump to be Arsenal's new manager - because he'd build a strong defensive wall, have an attacking philosophy & want to win big trophies at all costs.
See his hilarious response on Sunday night, ITV, 10pm.
It’s bad enough that his son, Barron, was pictured in red and white last year. We could really do without the 71-year-old knowing our club exists thanks very much.
As if Gooners weren’t already embarrassed enough to have Morgan supporting their club, we’ve now got him running around asking Donald Trump to become Arsenal manager.
I honestly couldn’t be cringing any harder.
Opposition fans must be having a great time.
Fortunately, like most people with brains, Arsenal fans despise Morgan and perhaps hate Trump even more.
Therefore, their responses to the picture of the presenter clutching a ‘Trump’ kit went hit home…hard:
1. He hasn't even built a wall yet
2. Threatening to nuke people is not an 'attacking philosophy'
3. Arsenal are known and respected for their diversity and this cockwomble is even more of a bigoted prick than you.
There's far too many multi national's in our beautiful sport for his liking. I hope you've managed to pull your head out of his cavernous asshole by now 😘
Even Hector Bellerin and Heather O’Reilly got involved.
It seems that, just in case you were in any doubt, Arsenal fans do not want Trump to have anything to do with their club. Joke or not.

Can’t we just shoot them both off into space on some sort of rocket?

'No guy is as cute as my Tom': Versace’s serial killer was ‘obsessed’ with Tom Cruise

by , in

THE Aids-infected serial killer who gunned down fashion icon Gianni Versace 20 years ago also had Hollywood star Tom Cruise in his sights. Andrew Cunanan was “obsessed” with the Top Gun actor.

He even copied his screen costumes and pretended to be characters from his films, according to a former friend.
Michael O’Brien has told of Cunanan’s chilling infatuation with Cruise following the US launch of a nine-part “true crime” TV drama series: The Assassination of Gianni Versace.
It will air on BBC Two later this year.
He said: “Andrew wanted to be Tom Cruise and often emulated him.
“He’d go to Hollywood, hit the best places and drive around in a rented BMW in the hope of running into his hero.
“He had a vast collection of leather jackets but his favourite was a bomber jacket that looked exactly like the one Cruise wore in Top Gun.
“Andrew would look in the mirror and pretend to be the characters Tom plays in his movies.
“He really believed that one day he and Tom might actually be together.
“That’s how crazy he was about the whole thing.
“He lusted after him sexually and had his own ‘Cruise meter’ when it came to rating other guys.
“If somebody said to him a guy on the street was cute, he would say, ‘Oh, he’s OK but he’s no Tom Cruise.
“No guy is as cute as my Tom’.”
The TV series tells how gay gigolo Cunanan brutally killed four other men in three states before shooting dead 50-year-old Versace.
He shot the “designer to the stars” at point blank range on the front steps of his mansion in Miami Beach on July 15, 1997.
Cunanan, who went on his twisted murder spree after learning he had become infected with Aids, turned his gun on himself eight days later as police closed in following a massive manhunt.
Chillingly, he was just a short drive from a mansion owned by Cruise in Clearwater, Florida, when he took his own life while hiding out on a houseboat.
Detectives have said he left no note or other clues about plans to attack the actor.
But some believe he may have been trying to “stake out” the star’s East Coast home just as he had spied on Versace at a popular Miami club called Liquid, prior to assassinating him.
One witness now says: “At first, I figured he was just another young wannabe trying to attract Gianni’s attention.
“Now I know he was there planning the kill.”
Spokespeople for both Cruise and the Versace family have declined to comment, although members of the Italian fashion house have slammed US studio giant Fox for making the series without consulting it.
It said in a statement: “The Versace family has neither authorised nor had any involvement whatsoever in the TV series about the death of Mr Gianni Versace.”
The series stars Venezuelan actor Édgar Ramirez as Gianni Versace and Penelope Cruz as his sister Donatella.

Craig David wants royal wedding gig

by , in
Craig David would be ''honoured'' to perform at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding after revealing Prince William and his younger sibling are massive fans of his music.

Craig David wants to perform at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding.
The garage king has revealed William told him he and his younger brother were into his music back in the 90s, and he's hoping it will bag him an invitation to perform at Harry's forthcoming wedding to former 'Suits' actress Meghan Markle.
The 'Fill Me In' hitmaker told The Sun newspaper: ''He is the coolest guy ever.
''I was standing next to the future King of England and he was like, 'Yeah man, I remember when you dropped 'Fill Me In' back in the day'. The way he was talking to me was like he had known me for ever.
''He is down with the whole thing - as is Prince Harry which is very exciting.''
Asked if he fancies serenading the newlyweds on their big day this spring - after Ellie Goulding sung for William his wife Duchess Catherine - Craig said: ''It would be an honour to perform at the wedding, especially because it's an amazing story and you grow up with the royals.''
As for the 36-year-old musicians own love life, Craig says he's all about ''serendipity'' and that he is not scared of being rejected.
He explained recently: ''To be honest I am all about serendipity. You are going to meet your partner, it's gonna happen when you least expect it. It will blindside you on a Wednesday afternoon, and you will just be like, 'What!?'
And you will know.
''I think 'I Know You' with Bastille it capsulates it.
''It's like, I know without even telling me about it. It's not an infatuation or attraction, it's just you are looking at someone, it's like you are speaking to me.
''I'm not really the guy for the chat-up lines in the bar to be honest.
''If you see someone just go over and say hi and accept that knock back, that's the beauty of it.''

Donald Trump in Piers Morgan interview: “I wouldn’t say I’m a feminist”

by , in
"That would be, maybe, going too far", says the president in his upcoming ITV interview.

Donald Trump may not quite have got to the point of addressing some of the things he has been caught on tape saying about women, but he has at least admitted he’s not a feminist.
Responding to Piers Morgan in an interview which will air tonight on ITV, the US President said “I wouldn’t say I’m a feminist.  I mean, I think that would be, maybe, going too far…
Morgan does make a stab at getting Trump to take ownership of some of his earlier comments about women, saying “A lot of women I’ve spoken to about this interview, they said it would be great to hear the President, given some of the more disrespectful things that have been out there and the way you’ve spoken about women, would you acknowledge that you had said things that perhaps you wouldn’t say now?”
But President Trump is allowed to sidestep the issue, saying only “Well, I think we have to evolve.  If we don’t evolve, there’s something missing,” before professing that he has “tremendous respect for women”.
Read the full exchange below:
Piers Morgan: A lot of women I’ve spoken to about this interview, they said it would be great to hear the President, given some of the more disrespectful things that have been out there and the way you’ve spoken about women, would you acknowledge that you had said things that perhaps you wouldn’t say now? That you have also listened, as many men are listening right now; that you’ve changed, you’ve evolved as a man.
Donald Trump:  Well, I think we have to evolve.  If we don’t evolve, there’s something missing.  But I have tremendous respect for women.  And I think you know that very well because you know me because you’ve spent a long period of time with me.  You see all of the women I have working around me and working with me.  Tremendous respect for women.
PM: You have a lot of strong women around you.
DT:  I do.
PM: Do you identify as a feminist?  Are you a feminist?
DT:  No, I wouldn’t say I’m a feminist.  I mean, I think that would be, maybe, going too far.  I’m for women, I’m for men, I’m for everyone.  I think people have to go out, they have to go out and really do it, and they have to win.  And women are doing great, and I’m happy about that.

Jay-Z reveals why he returned to Grammys after previously boycotting ceremony

by , in

The rap icon is up for eight awards at the New York event this evening
Jay-Z has opened up about why he chose to return to the Grammys after previously boycotting the event.
During Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy gala on Saturday night (January 27), the rapper picked up the Grammy Salute to Industry Icons Award. Speaking at the legendary annual event, Jay discussed why he chose to boycott the ceremony earlier in his career.
He claimed it was because fellow rapper DMX had been snubbed by the Grammy’s in 1999, despite having a highly successful year. Though Jay-Z didn’t attend, he went on to win Best Rap Album for his LP ‘Vol. 2… Hard Knock Life’.
Beyonce and Jay-Z

Speaking of his reasons for returning, Jay said it was down to his wife Beyonce’s first solo project.
“I didn’t come back until 2004 when a beautiful, young lady whom I love dearly had a solo album,” he told the audience, according to ABC. “And I realised, ‘Man, art is super subjective and everyone is doing their best, and the Academy, they’re human like we are and they’re voting on things they like and it’s subjective.”
He added: “If we believe in it — ’cause we do, we can pretend that we don’t care but we really care — we care ’cause we’ve seen the most incredible artists stand on that stage and we’re inspired to be that, so I was like, ‘I have to be here.'”
Jay went on to say that everyone should “get involved and to push this thing further no matter what happens at the Grammys, it’s going to be what it is.”
“Bob Marley is going to be Bob Marley, whether he’s nominated for a Grammy or not,” he continued. “Tupac is going to be Tupac, Biggie is going to be Biggie.”
Jay-Z is up for eight awards at tonight’s ceremony, which will feature performances from Lady Gaga, Elton John, Kendrick Lamar, U2, Rihanna and more.

Potentially adding to the 21 Grammys won so far over his career, Jay’s nominated in the album, song and record of the year categories.
