Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo was told to stop messaging Page Three pal Rhian Sugden - by her fiance.

The former Manchester United man met Rhian when he at the Old Trafford club as they hung out in similar bars and clubs.

But according to reports in The Sun, leaving the North West didn't stop the Portuguese sending her texts and messages on social media.

This led her partner - ex-Coronation Street actor Oliver Mellor - to get involved.

The Celebrity Big Brother star even told the frontman she couldn't speak to him - as she was on her way to pick Oliver up.

A source told The Sun: “Ronaldo bombards Rhian with messages periodically.

"They’re friendly enough. In the end, Oliver found out and sent Ronaldo a polite message asking him to back off. Since then Ronaldo has deleted the conversations.

“Rhian’s not heard a peep since. She’s pleased. She has no interest in him.”

Rhian herself refused to comment.

But you can see why Ronaldo would want to keep in contact Rhian.

The blonde babe, 31, left little to the imagination as she sported the daring two piece for an Obsessive Lingerie photoshoot last Friday.

And, within minutes of uploading it the following day, she had social media fans breaking out into a sweat.

Rap veteran Jay-Z will face Kendrick Lamar for top honours at the 60th Grammy Awards, where the Me Too movement is expected to remain in the spotlight.

Host James Corden said there will be time for artists to pledge solidarity with the anti-sexual harassment movement at the New York City show on Sunday.

There are also plans for musicians to wear white roses as a sign of support for the movement and the Time’s Up initiative in a move that echoes stars wearing black to the Golden Globes.

British talent were left out of the major categories, but Ed Sheeran’s Divide is up for best pop vocal album, while his track Shape Of You is nominated for best pop solo performance.

He faces Coldplay in the album category, while the band is also nominated for best pop group performance for their collaboration with The Chainsmokers on Something Just Like This.

Other British nominees include Bonobo with record Migration and Guernsey-based DJ Mura Masa also in the electronic/dance category, while singer-songwriter Laura Marling is up for best folk album.

Jay-Z leads the way with eight nominations while Lamar follows close behind with seven.

Lamar’s HUMBLE. and Jay-Z’s The Story Of O.J. are both up for record of the year, and they are also both up for album of the year with DAMN. and 4:44 respectively.

Jay-Z is also up for the coveted song of the year for 4:44 where he faces Despacito, by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee and featuring Justin Bieber, and Bruno Mars’ That’s What I Like.

Corden and artists Halsey, Dua Lipa and Rapsody, who is up for best rap album, are among the stars to say they will wear white roses to the ceremony.

The symbolic move was proposed earlier this week by music executives to support the movements that followed the revelations starting with movie mogul Harvey Weinstein’s downfall.

Leonard Cohen is up for two posthumous awards including best rock performance, where he faces the late Chris Cornell.

Carrie Fisher was also posthumously nominated for best spoken word album for her memoir The Princess Diarist.

Sir Elton John and Miley Cyrus will perform together on the night, while stars such as Lady Gaga, Lamar and Sam Smith will also take to the stage.

The main event at Madison Square Garden will start at 7.30pm local time, 12.30am on Monday in the UK.

The R&B singer finally gave a word on what’s going on and told GoodMorningAmerica, “I am not married, unlike what my big mouth sister Tamar has been saying everywhere…I’m definitely not married, yet.” Hmm, it’s the “yet” part where things get interesting?

Its the Grammy weekend and the biggest night in music is just a night away. That’s right, the 60th annual Grammy Awards is going down tomorrow, Sunday, January 28, 2018, and while we are counting down to the big show, we would like to take a trip down memory lane and remember ten times Nigerians have been nominated for the prestigious award.

10. Sikiru Adepoju

Nigerian recording artiste, Sikiru Adepoju, made his father’s land proud in 2009 when he not only got nominated for the Best Contemporary World Music Album for ‘Global Drum Project’, but also took home the coveted award.

9. Timaya

And Timaya thrilled fans with a number of his songs
Nigerian dancehall sensation, Timaya, had a major career milestone moment last month when he was nominated for an award at the upcoming Grammys. The artiste earned the nomination as a result of his collaboration with Morgan Heritage on the song ‘Reggae Night’. ‘Reggae Night’ also features Jaheil, Bunji Garlin, Dre Zion, Stylo G, Stonebwoy and Chubb Rock. ‘Reggae Night’ is featured on Morgan Heritage’s ‘Avrakedabra’, which is nominated for Best Reggae Album.

8. Kah – Lo

Nigerian musician, Kah-Lo, was nominated at last year’s show for her work on Riton’s ‘Rinse and Repeat’. She lost the Best Dance Recording award to Chainsmoker’s ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ featuring Daya.

7. Femi Kuti

Femi Kuti, the eldest son of African Afrobeat icon, Fela Kuti, has been nominated for a Grammy not once, but four times in the World Music category. He received his first Grammy nod in 2003, then thrice more in 2010, 2012 and 2013.

6. Chamillionaire

Nigerian born American rapper, Chamillionaire, is a two time Grammy nominee and one-time winner. The musician won the Grammy in 2007 for his song ‘Riddin’. The song won the award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.

5. Wizkid

‘Manya’ singer, Wizkid, bagged a nomination for Album Of The Year in 2017 when Drake’s ‘Views’ was nominated in the category. Wizkid was credited as a featured artiste, songwriter and producer on a song from the album, ‘One Dance’. ‘Views’ lost the award to Adele’s critically acclaimed ‘25’.

4. Kevin Olusola

Kevin Olusola, the only black member of pop acapella group, Pentatonix, has in his home, not one, but two Grammys. The group bagged their first Grammy in 2015 when they won the Best Instrumental Arrangement for ‘Daft Punk’. Thunder struck again in 2016 when they took home the award for Best Instrumental Arrangement again for ‘Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy’.

3. Sade Adu

Nigerian born artiste, Sade Adu, is no stranger to nods from The Recording Academy. Sade has been in the running for a Grammy award nine times. The songstress has managed to go home with the prestigious Grammys gold gramophone four out of those nine times: 1986, 1994, 2002 and 2011 respectively.

2. Seal

Four must be a lucky number for Nigerian Grammy nominees because British – Nigerian crooner, Seal, has also won four Grammys. Seal took home his three awards for his song, ‘Kiss From A Rose’ in 1996. In 2011, he took home yet another Grammy for his collaboration with Paradisio, ‘Imagine’.

1. King Sunny Ade

The living legend, King Sunny Ade, has been nominated for a Grammy twice. The first time was in 1983 in the Best Ethnic or Traditional Folk Recording for his album ‘Synchro System’. The second time was in 1998 for his ‘Odu’ album in the Best World Music category.

Las Vegas casino mogul, Steve Wynn on Saturday stepped down as Republican National Committee finance chairman, according to three senior Republicans briefed on the decision.  

The decision followed a Friday report in the Wall Street Journal alleging that Wynn engaged in sexual harassment.

Wynn, 76, was President Donald Trump's handpicked choice for the finance position. It has not yet been determined who will replace him.  

"Today I accepted Steve Wynn’s resignation as Republican National Committee finance chair," said RNC chair Ronna Romney McDaniel.

Wynn has been a prolific Republican donor, particularly over the past decade: He has donated more than $2.5 million to the Republican Governors Association since 2012 and has been a top donor to several individual gubernatorial campaigns.  

The casino mogul also contributed $411,000 to the National Republican Senatorial Committee over the past five years, $248,000 to the RNC and $100,000 to the National Republican Congressional Committee, according to campaign finance records.

In a statement issued on Friday, Wynn said the allegations are “the continued work of my ex-wife Elaine Wynn, with whom I am involved in a terrible and nasty lawsuit in which she is seeking a revised divorce settlement. The idea that I ever assaulted any woman is preposterous. We find ourselves in a world where people can make allegations, regardless of the truth, and a person is left with the choice of weathering insulting publicity or engaging in multi-year lawsuits.”

The beautiful house will be home to the contestants, who will live together under constant surveillance for 12 weeks.

At the end of the show, prizes worth 45 Million Naira will be given to the eventual winner of the season.

The third season of the show will be hosted by Nigerian lawyer and media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who hosted the second season, and was a housemate in the maiden edition of the show.

The maiden edition of the reality series was hosted by Olisa Adibua and Michelle Dede, and ended with Katung Aduwak as the winner after 13 weeks in the house.

In 2016, Efe beat  Bisola,  TBoss, Marvis and Debie Rise to win the prize of 25 million Naira and a key to a brand new KIA Sorento car.
