After seven days of listening to more than 160 girls, women and parents describe the impact of his sexual abuse, disgraced gymnastics physician Larry Nassar turned to the courtroom on Wednesday and quietly attempted an apology, saying, “There are no words that can describe the depth and breadth for how sorry I am for what has occurred.” 

Then Judge Rosemarie Aquilina read from a letter Nassar wrote last week in which he expressed very different sentiments. In the letter, Nassar complained about the length of his sentencing hearing, maintained that his touching of patients was legitimate medical therapy and termed some of the alleged victims’ accounts “fabricated.”

“My treatments worked, and those patients that are now speaking out were the same ones that praised me,” Aquilina said as she read Nassar’s words. “. . . The media convinced them that everything I did was wrong and bad. . . . Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.”

Finally, Aquilina delivered her sentence a minimum of 40 years, a maximum of 175 years in a Michigan state prison effectively guaranteeing a life sentence for the 54-year-old former Michigan State University and USA Gymnastics team physician, who also faces a 60-year sentence for federal child pornography crimes.

And with that, the judge brought an end to an extraordinary sentencing hearing that introduced fresh national attention and outrage to a case whose core facts have been well established for nearly a year.

Tennis Champ,  Serena Williams will return to action next month in the United States' Fed Cup first round tie against the Netherlands.

The United States Tennis Association made the announcement on  Tuesday, adding that the 36-year-old American will be joined by older sister Venus and world number nine CoCo Vandeweghe with a fourth player to be announced next week for the Feb. 10-11 tie on an indoor hard court in Asheville, North Carolina.

Williams who has not played a WTA tournament since she won the Australian Open title last year and skipped this year's opening grand slam given concerns about her fitness four months after giving birth to her first child.

She has played once since picking up her Open-era record 23rd grand slam in Melbourne last year, losing to Roland Garros champion Jelena Ostapenko in an exhibition match in Abu Dhabi last December.

Singer Wizkid just shared a very cute photo of his third son he had with his International manager, Jada Pollock.

The 27 year old Pop star, shared a photo of Zion lying on his tattooed arm and wrote; “Everything and More #Zion #King”

It was alleged that Jada Pollock gave birth in London but had been keeping it from the public domain. The duo are said to have been having a romantic affair for over a year.

The star boy crooner already has two sons from two different women. He has a son, Boluwatife with Shola Ogududu, and another, King Ayo by Guinean-American model, Binta Diamond.

Jada Pollock, is an entertainment veteran also known as Jada Styles. She’s the head of her consulting business firm she shared with African football star Didier Drogba.

She is responsible for the branding of many affluent and prominent football players for the U.K. The Daily Star and West London Living once referred to her as a highly acclaimed image guru.

Jada shifted to gears to music management, when she joined Bu Vision, LLC – a management firm representing/managing some of the big names in international music scene such as Chris Brown & Pia Mia, whom Jada served as their day-to-day. Bu Vision, is owned by Bu, Akon’s brother.

For Wizkid, she took charge of his branding and image, ensuring that he stayed out of drama and social media controversies.

She was also ran his organised social media publicity, contributed to his increasing international media features.

Being a former Gucci employee, she commanded his fashion and style as navigated his international campaign with Sony.

Jada’s child becomes the third Wizkid son, coming after Boluwatife (2011), and Ayodeji (2016), whom he has with Sola Ogudu and US-based Guinean model, Binta Diamond Diallo, respectively.

Singing sensation Simi who just celebrated her mum’s wedding has a lot to be grateful for this new year. The ”Jamb Question” crooner shared the lovely message of her new deal with Opera in Nigeria on social media.

Nigerian Lady on Facebook has taken to social media to complain about how “lazy” her husband has gotten all thanks to the recession in Nigeria.

Princess Eugenie, 27, and her beau Jack Brooksbank, 31, announced their engagement earlier this month.

The Queen's granddaughter and her lover had reportedly planned to tie the knot in September this year at Windsor Castle because they wanted to have an Indian wedding. 

But the couple have been forced to delay their marital ceremony for one month because Eugenie's relatives, including Prince Harry – who is marrying fiancee Meghan Markle in Autumn this year – would not be able to attend due to prior commitments. 

"Eugenie and Jack are keen to tie the knot quite quickly, and there certainly wouldn’t be any issue as regards the booking of the chapel given who her grandmother is.

"But the issue is that some members of the Royal Family already have commitments in the diary.

"There is talk of a number of foreign tours for Prince Harry and Miss Markle this year, and September is a date that has been mooted. There is nothing concrete yet, but it looks as if Eugenie and Jack will go for October instead", a source told the Mail Online. 

However, it is believed the newly engaged duo are not fazed by the amendments to their big day, as they refuse to let anything spoil their moment.

"They are fine with it. I don’t think anything will overshadow how deliriously happy they are", the insider added.

Eugenie's father Prince Andrew, the Duke of York – who is the son of the 91-year-old monarch and Charles, the Prince of Wales – recently confirmed the pair have had to reschedule their ceremony. 

He said: "It’s now about finding the time and the date and getting it all organised, I think probably in the Autumn some time, is the time every is looking at.

"We can’t fix a date yet, we’ve got to look at everybody’s diaries – it’s a bit more complicated than that."

Prince Andrew, 57, is not the only relative who has revealed the details of the couple's wedding plans.

Jack's grandmother, Joanna Newton, said: "It will be down in Windsor and it will be in October. He [Jack] said ‘We can’t get married in September now so we will have to get married in October’.

"[The Royal family] have got something else going on then I think so they couldn’t. So he [Jack] just said that if they can’t get married in September they will have to get married in October."

Although some of Eugenie's family members have caused the brunette beauty to change her date, her husband-to-be's grandparent would not miss it for the world.  She added: "Of course I shall be going to the wedding, I’m granny."

TV personality Brandi Glanville has blasted actor Gerard Butler after he went on a TV show where he talked about their sexual encounter in a rather humiliating manner.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alumni tore Gerard Butler to shreds in the letter she posted to her blog on Monday night. The attack comes after Butler's Watch What Happens Live interview where he talked about the time he slept with Glanville. Butler cringed when her name was mentioned then gave the impression that sex with her was horrible.

The 300 actor said: "I had no idea who she was. I kept saying, 'What are you doing,' and she said, 'Doesn't matter, not important.'"

After the interview, Glanville went on Twitter to set the record straight, then she wrote a scathing letter to Butler in which she credited the #TimesUp movement for giving her the courage to speak up against what she called Gerard's "Misogyny"

She wrote: "I'm not exactly sure when misogyny became so hip, cool and accepted but what I will tell you is that I won't f-cking stand for it anymore! I'm talking to you, Gerard Butler! Honestly who the f-ck do you think you are? You, Mr. 'movie star,' can choke on your own...ego. Not that I even remember your last hit movie but it seems like '300' was years ago."

She continued: "I would like to make something crystal f-cking clear to you. Your behavior the other night, publicly acting as if you were embarrassed to have ever met me or had relations with me as if I were some horrid decrepit troll is not only disgusting but unacceptable. #TimesUp on this kind of behavior.

"Respect the women you invite into your bed and into your life. Whether you know their last name or not! Whether they are famous or not! Just be a proper human being. Imagine that some man was on TV speaking of your mother, sister, daughter or even friend cringing with embarrassment. Exactly the way you acted and spoke of me. Well my two sons Mason, 14 and Jake, 10 don't have to imagine it because it just happened to them, to me and to all of us. With the Me Too movement I have found my voice again and I refuse to stay quiet. I may not have been sexually harassed but I have been humiliated, embarrassed, financially tortured and emotionally abused by men in power, in my work life and by men like you in my personal life."

Glanville, who appeared on "Watch What Happens Live" back in January 2017, said at the time that she and Butler "had a little week of fun" and gave the actor an "11" out of 10 when asked to rate his skills in bed. 

According to her open letter, Glanville said her "WWHL" interview took place "many, many years ago" and that her comment was in response to the question: "Who is the most famous person you have ever slept with?"

Her letter continues: "Number one, why do you think you are such a damn prize and what the f-ck would have changed if you had known my last name?? Many, many years ago I was on a fairly new late night talk show called 'Watch What Happens Live' and I was asked who was the most famous man I had ever slept with. At that time you were kind of a big thing so I said your name. I then was asked on a scale from 1-10 what would I rate you as a lover. I very kindly said an 11. I was completely caught off guard obviously not expecting any of these questions and the moment after I answered them I regretted it."

Glanville went on to say she "NEVER in God's world imagined" she would be on television being asked the question she was asked. "I honestly never sought out the life that I live now filled with insecurities, trust issues and doubt," she wrote, adding that if it were up to her, she would be "f-cking happily married to a 'faithful' Eddie Cibrian quietly-ish raising our 2 beautiful boys with no cameras other than the ones he worked in front of."

She also addd: "You seem to be caught up on the fact that I didn't tell you my last name or what I did for work before we actually 'hooked up.' When I'm out at a party and someone walks up to me and says hi what's your name, like most people I simply say 'hi I'm Brandi nice to meet you.' Furthermore if you have to tell someone you're famous...you're not only an asshole but you clearly are not that f-cking famous!!!"

She concluded her letter with: "I think you suck and my dad wants to kick your ass."
