Drake’s “God’s Plan” Second Song To Reach 100 Million Streams In A Week

Drake continues to break boundaries with his new smash hit single “God’s Plan.”

The Scary Hours single already broke the records for the single day stream on both Spotify and Apple Music. “God’s Plan” is also at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a fifth consecutive week. So it’s safe to say that Drake has the biggest and most infectious single thus far this year. Being that everyone and their aunties are bumping the single, it’s likely will be up for a Grammy nomination at the end of the year.

The big story about “God’s Plan” today is that it is now the second single to clock 100 million streams in one week, after reaching 101.7 million streams in the past week alone, according to Neilson Music. The only other song to reach a hundred million streams in one week is Baauer’s “Harlem Shake.”

The big fanfare surrounding the release of the music video for the single helped pushed it over the new milestone. Drake gave away a million dollars while shooting the video and pretty much documented most of his charitable run in Miami and fit it in four minutes. He was so shook by the response he got while giving away all that money that now he is planning to make giving a long-term thing.

Aside from breaking records in music, Drake is also shaking things up in the fashion department after reportedly leaving the Jordan brand to join Adidas. So don’t expect to see anymore OVO Jordans, but look out for some fresh Adidas OVO kicks hitting the market hopefully sometime soon.

Drake also previously collaborated with British shoe brand Clarks for some OVO desert boots, and in the past, he has created some unique Jordan footwear. Perhaps he is getting a way better deal from Adidas and now he doesn’t have to compete with Yeezy head on since they will have the same home.

NBA YoungBoy Remains Behind Bars Despite Girlfriend Denial Of Assault

NBA YoungBoy is still detained despite his girlfriend publicly denying he ever abused her.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again is currently behind bars in Georgia following his arrest last weekend on kidnapping and assault charges. His arrest stemmed from an alleged fight with his girlfriend Jania at a hotel in Tallahassee, Florida. Video footage of the incident was released online showing NBA YoungBoy body slamming his 18-year-old girlfriend in the hotel lobby. She claimed that they were just playing.

The Miami Herald reported that YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, was extradited to a Ware County Jail in southern Georgia where he is facing some serious charges including weapons possession, assault, and kidnapping. Authorities claimed that he fled to Florida to escape jurisdiction in Georgia. A judge denied him bond yesterday arguing that he is a flight risk.

It’s unclear if he is facing any charges relating to his alleged assault of his girlfriend Jania in Florida. She claimed in a video on social media that he never abused her and what we saw in the video was them playing.

Despite his incarceration, NBA YoungBoy says he will be releasing a new mixtape soon.

50 Cent Admits He Didn’t Make Millions Off Bitcoin

50 Cent admitted in his recent bankruptcy documents that he lied about making millions off Bitcoin.

In January, 50 Cent revealed that he made over $8 million in the height of the balloon Bitcoin cryptocurrency. In case you were in the dark about Bitcoin trading, the cryptocurrency saw significant growth in valuation in December reaching an all-time high of over $19000 in mid-December. Amidst the Bitcoin fanfare, a big story came out claiming that 50 Cent made millions off of a secret stash of the cryptocurrency.

The story centered around the sale of his album Animal Ambitions and according to reports back then, he was paid a portion in cash and a portion in Bitcoins and he totally forgot that he had the Bitcoins until the massive surge in the valuation which earned him over $8 million.

He pretty much didn’t deny the story, and his creditors started to inquire about the alleged millions of dollars in a secret stash. Turns out he had to file some bankruptcy documents on January 23, 2018 and in those docs, he denied the reports while explaining that he didn’t deny the story back then because it was good for his image.

“I do not personally own, and have not owned, either a bitcoin account or any bitcoins,” 50 Cent said in the legal documents.

“As a general matter, so long as a press story is not irreparably damaging to my image or brand, I usually do not feel the need to publicly deny the reporting,” he added under penalty of perjury. “This is particularly true when I feel the press report in question is favorable to my image or brand, even if that report is based on a misunderstanding of the facts or contains outright falsehoods.”

He explained that the story originated on TMZ at the time and he didn’t feel the need to publicly deny it because it was good for his image as a baller.

Kendall Jenner and Blake Griffin 'cooled off' since he was traded to Detroit

Kendall Jenner and Blake Griffin are said to have 'cooled off' as a couple.

Yet the source who made this claim to People also insisted the reality star and the basketball player have remained together.

Apparently, the reason 'they've grown apart' is that Blake, 28, has been traded off by the Los Angeles Clippers and is now playing for the Pistons in faraway Detroit.

Said the insider: 'They’ve definitely cooled off and are taking things at a slower pace, but not because of any particular drama.'

Rather: 'He got traded and isn’t local anymore, so they’ve grown apart a bit just because of distance. They’re still involved.'

Earlier this month, on none other than Valentine's Day, Blake's ex-fiancée Brynn Cameron - by whom he has a son and daughter - filed a palimony suit against him.

The suit also alleges that Blake urged Brynn to give up her careers in sports marketing and interior design, on the basis that he would provide for her.

NBA Youngboy’s Mom Speaks On His Arrest “Free My Child”

NBA Youngboy’s mother is speaking out on her son’s arrest.

The Baton Rouge rapper is currently held without bail in a Tallahassee jail following his arrest on assault and kidnapping charges last weekend. The arrest was triggered by an alleged fight with his girlfriend Jania in a hotel lobby. Video footage showing the rapper body slamming his 18-year-old girlfriend has since surfaced online, but she denied he was ever abusive towards her saying that the two were just playing. “Free my child,” she wrote.

Since then, NBA Youngboy’s mother, Sherhonda, has spoken out calling for her son’s release, while also blasting son of her critics on social media. She was on Instagram Live yesterday responding to questions from Never Broke Again fans who accused her of being a bad parent. She quickly pushed back against those accusations in an expletive-laced rant in the presence of her daughter.

As for NBA Youngboy, he is in a world of legal troubles and is looking at an extradition to Georgia sometime soon to face multiple charges including assault, kidnapping, and weapons violations. Last year he also wrecked a rented Lambo and it’s unclear if that case has been dealt with before his latest arrest. Watch the video below.

Swansea reached their first FA Cup quarter-final since 1964 with a 2-0 home victory over Sheffield Wednesday

Swansea in FA Cup quarter-finals after win over Carlos Carvalhal's former club

Jordan Ayew, on as a half-time substitute, scored the opener before Nathan Dyer settled matters 10 minutes from time.

Dyer raced on to Tammy Abraham's pass to slot his shot between the legs of Owls goalkeeper Cameron Dawson and ensure Swansea manager Carlos Carvalhal would taste victory against the club he left in December.

Those second-half goals saw Swansea through on a night when the temperature dial had fallen below zero at kick-off.

The so-called 'Beast from the East' might have brought a chill air to south Wales, but this fifth-round replay often struggled to warm the sparse crowd.

There will undoubtedly be more present when Swansea host either Tottenham or Rochdale in the quarter-final next month, with those teams replaying at Wembley on Wednesday night.

And it will stir long memories of the previous time Swansea graced the last eight of the FA Cup, Bill Shankly's Liverpool humbled 2-1 at Anfield before Preston inflicted semi-final pain.

Swansea controlled the tempo of the game in the first half, enjoying two thirds of the possession but creating little of note.

Abraham saw his header deflected over, but it was Wednesday who fashioned the better chances after a drab opening quarter.

Twice the Swansea goal was threatened in a matter of seconds with Kristoffer Nordfeldt pushing away Jacob Butterfield's well-struck shot from 18 yards.

The Swedish goalkeeper also had to react quickly as Lucas Joao sent the loose ball back into the six-yard box, with Jordan Rhodes close to a telling touch.

Nordfeldt then held Joao's effort after the Portuguese switched the ball back on to his left-foot with Wednesday sensing a breakthrough and an upset.

Swansea responded with wayward attempts from Sam Clucas and Abraham, and Carvalhal blinked at half-time with Martin Olsson and Ayew replacing Ki Sung-yueng and Wayne Routledge.

Carvalhal's call paid off 10 minutes after the re-start as Carroll strode forward with purpose, striking both posts with a rasping effort, before Ayew dispatched the rebound for his ninth goal of the season.

Rhodes had the opportunity to get Wednesday back on level terms when he lined up a free-kick from 25 yards.

But the striker's shot was comfortably collected by Nordfeldt and Wednesday would not come as close again.

Abraham had endured a frustrating evening as his hold-up play was not of the standard of a striker harbouring World Cup ambitions with England this summer.

But he played a decisive role in Dyer's decider as Swansea removed the last representative of the Sky Bet Championship from the competition.

Ayew almost added a third as Dawson held his low drive, but Swansea's passage was secured by then.

Twitter reacts to Espanyol stunning Real Madrid

Los Blancos continue to drop points in La Liga.

Espanyol defeated Real Madrid 1-0 in La Liga tonight. Zinedine Zidane decided to rotate his squad as he rested Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, and Casemiro for the away trip to the Cornella. Gareth Bale started up front with Marco Asensio on the left.

The first half lacked spark with only few chances created by either side but the home team had their goal disallowed for offside.

The second half was no different with the game being played at barely any intensity. Both sides were playing relaxed football and showed no urgency. The trio of Asensio, Isco, and Vazquez wasn't working while Bale playing as a striker had minimal contribution in the game.

However, Espanyol were not going to settle for a point. They sensed an opportunity to take the lead and possessed a greater threat of scoring first as the game went into the latter stages. Gerard Moreno had a great chance of giving his side the lead but his left-footed effort went beyond the far post.

In the final minute of stoppage time, Moreno redeemed himself for his missed opportunities when he was left open in the box and made Real Madrid pay for their mistake by scoring the winner in the 93rd minute to give Espanyol the 1-0 win and give Zidane's side their fifth loss in an already disappointing domestic season.
