Social media reacts to Brymo's nude photo where he wore only a 'G-String' for the 'culture'

Nigerian singer, Brymo has just dropped a new album 'Oso' but that's not the news.

The news is that Byrmo went totally nude in the music video for 'Heya', a song off the new album and social media can't seem to get a hold of why he decided to wear a 'G-string' for the 'culture'.

While many still agree that Brymo remains one of the finest and most talented musicians of his generation, others are simply trying to wrap their head around his 'G-string' photo!

Nelson Mandela’s 'hands' sell for $10m Bitcoin

It’s one of the more unusual deals in the art world. After more than a decade, an Alberta businessman has finally found a buyer for his prized collection of gold castings of Nelson Mandela’s hand. The final price? Ten million dollars -- in bitcoin.

Attempts by Malcolm Duncan, formerly of South Africa, to sell the hands back in 2007 were scuppered by controversy over provenance and a possible missing charitable donation. This time he’s had better luck, albeit with an unusual buyer.

Little information is available about Arbitrade, an Ontario-based cryptocurrency company, something Chairman Len Schutzman says is about to change.

The company is “weeks away” from doing an initial coin offering and is building a facility in Waterloo, Ontario, to mine its own cryptocurrencies and plans to trade others. Its key selling point, he says, is that it will back all its virtual coins with some percentage of physical metal -- including gold.

Nelson Mandela’s solid gold hand would seem to fit the bill, although as a general rule Schutzman says he’ll seek to acquire gold bars or coins rather than art. Weighing 20 pounds, the value of the gold is a fraction of the artifacts’ purchase price. Their real value is one of publicity, as a means of educating millennials about Mandela -- and Arbitrade -- through a global “Golden Hands of Nelson Mandela” tour the company plans to launch, he said.

The hands aren’t the first examples of “Mandela Art” to prove tricky to buyers and sellers. After the anti-apartheid revolutionary was released from prison, thousands of pieces of art bearing his name began flooding the market. Various scandals, including allegations of forgery, put a stop to the deluge.

Under Mandela’s own orders, many works were destroyed and the subject remains a touchy one in South Africa to this day. Duncan believes he owns the only four surviving casts of Mandela’s hand, palm and fist, tucked into bespoke imbuia wood boxes. “He cut his thumb quite badly on Robben Island, his right thumb, and you can see it,” Duncan said.

Photographs show Mandela sitting for the castings, which were made by a defunct division of Harmony Gold Mining Co. in 2002. As a condition of being allowed to buy the artifacts, Duncan says he paid double the 1.8 million-rand purchase price with the understanding Harmony would give half to Mandela’s charities. Whether that happened remains unclear.

Harmony has “supplied Mr. Duncan with the necessary paperwork verifying the provenance as requested by his attorneys,” Harmony Investor Relations Manager Lauren Fourie said by email, declining to comment when asked about the status of the donation.

So far, Duncan has been paid a bitcoin deposit that has been converted to $50,000. The rest is due to be delivered in quarterly installments of at least $2 million per extremity, starting April 30.

“They take possession when I have the dollar amount in the bank,” says Duncan, who has insisted Arbitrade guarantee the value in U.S. dollars, and handle the conversion. “At two-and-a-quarter million at a time, they take one hand at a time.”

JAY-Z & Beyonce Motorcycle In Jamaica On Sale For $5 Million

The motorcycle that JAY-Z and Beyonce rode in Jamaica could fetch north of JM$5 million.

The bike, aka Yeng Yeng, is currently up for auction by it’s owner and the starting bid is $5 million. Last week, JAY-Z and Beyonce were in Jamaica shooting a music video and vacationing. The power couple brought along their twin, Sir and Rumi, for the trip to Jamrock. There is still a lot of secrecy surrounding the music video shoot, but we’re told that it’s for a single on their upcoming joint album.

Hov and Bey were spotting riding through the streets of Trench Town in St. Andrew while being followed by their film crew and entourage. Bob Marley’s hometown was like a full-fledged Hollywood movie set. It drew a large crowd of locals who couldn’t get enough of hip-hop’s most famous couple. There were enough police officers and private security on hand to contain the crowd and protect JAY-Z and Beyonce, but their Jamaican fans showed all love.

The value of the motorcycle they were spotted on instantly went up 50 times its original value. Bidding starts at JM$5 million which is approximately US$40,000. So far no one has stepped forward to make a bid, at least locally, but perhaps some collector will come forward and foot the bill and make this piece of metallic relic their own. The couple also traveled in a Range Rover when they weren’t filming, so perhaps the Range will go up for auction as well.

JAY-Z and Beyonce are getting ready to hit the road for their joint “On The Run II” tour starting on June 06 in Cardiff, UK. The European leg of the tour climaxes on July 17th in Nice, France. The North American leg starts on July 25th at the FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.

Meek Mill’s Mother Says He Is A Good Kid Who Deserve Freedom-video

Meek Mill’s mother, Kathy Williams, continues to campaign for her son’s release from prison.

Meek, whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams, is currently serving 2-4 years in a Pennsylvania prison for a probation violation from a decade old case. His sentencing last year November sparked widespread condemnation of the judge and the justice system. Not only is Meek’s attorneys fighting for his freedom, but his mom is also actively making the press rounds advocating for her son to get an early break.

On Wednesday she sat down for an interview with CBS Philly where she opened up about his upcoming, as well as, continues to make the case for why he should be released from prison. “He was a good kid, he was quiet, humble, didn’t talk too much,” she said. Meek Mill lost his father to gun violence at the age of five and in his teenage years, he got into some trouble when he was arrested and charged with weapon and drug possession. The rapper’s mom says she started taking him seriously as a rapper when he became a teenager and started hanging with his cousins.

“When he started hanging with his cousins, over in South Philly, I noticed that he started rapping and started on his little lyrics and stuff like that,” Williams said. “I thought it was just a hobby because I’m into music. I like music too but not knowing that it was going to go this far.”

Kathy Williams says Meek Mill is doing well but she is the one who is not holding up because seeing her son unjustly placed behind bars is taking a toll on her. Meek Mill could get a break sometime soon after new evidence surfaced ousting retired Philadelphia police officer Reginald Graham as a corrupt cop. Graham was the police officer who arrested the Dreamchaser rapper in 2007 and accused him of pointing a gun at officers.

Meek’s attorneys are currently preparing a case to be presented to the judge to have his original conviction thrown out and thus nullified his parole. The MMG rapper says the entire case cost him $30 million in his long battle with lady justice.
