We can so relate to Kristen Stewart right now.
OK so no not in her being a multi-million dollar actress, but in the fact that when her feet hurt, she just takes off her heels – even if she’s right in the middle of the red carpet in Cannes.
We’ve all done the same, only ours was on a run down the high street having ditched our heels to get that 4am burger in MacDonald’s.
So Kristen’s was in a more glamorous setting, at the premiere for BlacKkKlansman, but her feet still hurt enough for her to rip off the footwear and go bare – although she might have been making a point, having previously said she disagreed with the unspoken rule that women must wear heels.
To be fair, as of April 2017 she reportedly had a net worth of $70,000 (£51.6k), so could have easily have afforded a pair of gel cushions.
Having made her way down the red carpet, and done all of the required photo posing, Kristen whipped of her shoes as she headed up the impressive stair case of the Palais des Festivals.
Although there may have been more to it than that, as in 2017 the actress complained that women were forced to wear high heels on the red carpet.
She told the Hollywood Reporter: ‘There’s definitely a distinct dress code.
People get very upset at you if you don’t wear heels or whatever.’
She added: ‘I feel like you can’t ask that anymore, but it’s still a given.
If you’re not asking guys to wear heels and a dress then you can’t ask me either.’
