Cardi B shares makeup-free selfie as she begins her maternity leave

She may be one of the hottest hip-hop acts, but Cardi B still knows how to keep it real. 

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the 25-year-old singer shared a makeup-free selfie with her fans as she began her maternity leave. 

'Knock me down 9 times but i get up 10 b****,' the female rapper captioned her photo.

Cardi donned a nude coloured singlet top that showcased a subtle amount of cleavage. 

Along with her clear complexion, her black tresses were left out and unstyled.  

The fiancée of Offset is known by her fans for sporting multi-coloured wigs and wearing unique ensembles.

With recent reports that she's due to give birth in July, the Bodak Yellow singer took to social media to reveal that Washington's Broccoli Festival would be her last performance.

'I wanted to make it clear and everything the Broccoli Fest will be my last performance... for um.. a little while... and everything,' she said.

'Because you know... shorty keep growing and I be looking like I be moving and everything but in reality... a b**** can barely breathe,' she added.

The Broccoli Festival that was held last weekend is an annual Washington DC concert featuring popular artists with this year's lineup including Miguel and Nipsey Hussle.

'I want to thank ya all for understanding. I'll be back for the Bruno Mars tour and everything,' she continued in the Instagram video post.
