Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been named Premier League Player of the Year at the London Football Awards

The 24-year-old enjoyed a stellar 2017, outscoring Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and every other player across Europe's top-five leagues with 56 goals for club and country.
Kane scored a remarkable eight hat-tricks during 2017, six of which came in the Premier League, and recently scored his ninth Champions League goal in just his ninth appearance. No one has reached the tally faster in the competition.
Sunday's late winner against London rivals Crystal Palace took Kane's tally for Tottenham in 2017-18 to 35, and now has Clive Allen's club-record haul of 49 goals in a campaign in his sights.
The striker was previously named Young Player of the Year in 2015, beating Alex Pritchard - then on loan at Brentford from Spurs - Carl Jenkinson - at West Ham from Arsenal and Ryan Mason, who has since been forced to retire from football due to a head injury.
The striker beats Spurs team-mates Christian Eriksen and Heung-min Son to the prize, along with Chelsea's Cesar Azpilicueta and Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace
