But Justin Bieber kicked off his birthday in low-key fashion on Thursday - by taking a spin in his flashy baby blue Lamborghini.
It hasn't all been smooth sailing for the hit-maker over the last 24 hours, though, as Justin was also seen arguing with a traffic control officer about making a left turn onto Wilshire Boulevard.
The pop star was attempting to make a left turn onto Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening when he was stopped by traffic enforcement, who was directing traffic on the busy street.
'I gotta go this way, I gotta go this way. Trust me,' he explained.
The woman appeared to be giving Justin alternative directions, but Justin persisted.
'Just let me go through here, what's the big deal?' he asked.
Justin did eventually make it to church service, and was seen parking his car before heading inside, where girlfriend Selena Gomez was as well.
The chart-topper was not seen with Selena on his actual birthday, however.
Instead the singer was spotted solo on his way to a friend's house, wearing a jean jacket, salmon pink sweatshirt, red track pants, and white sneakers.
The Change Me singer opted to wear his signature baggy style of trousers, which showed off his behind as he strolled up the incline.
Justin has been dating Selena on-off since 2010.
He rekindled the flames of romance with Selena after her relationship with The Weeknd came to an abrupt finish last year.
However, things seem to be more serious this time around.
On February 19 the duo were in the wedding party when Justin's father Jeremy, 42, tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Rebelo, 29, in an outdoor ceremony in Jamaica.
