Serena Williams shows how baby ‘Supergirl’ Alexis Olympia can fly in adorable video

Serena Williams’ five-month-old daughter Alexis Olympia Ohania Jr may just be the cutest superhero that ever lived. The tennis star shared an adorable moment of her baby daughter on Snapchat dressed as ‘Supergirl’ because ‘you have to teach them early that they’re Supergirls’, according to proud mama Serena (and if anyone’s going to know…). The baby Caped Crusader rocked a cute pink costume with the iconic S emblazoned on the front and even had a little yellow cape to match Serena revealed.

Sharing the snap with her followers, the proud mum cooed at her daughter: ‘You’re a Supergirl mamas. You’re a supergirl! Momma loves you.’ Turning baby Alexis around to show everyone her magic cape, Serena continued: ‘Show them your cape hunny. Supergirl fly! Yay!’

And the dress up fun didn’t stop there. Later in the day baby Alexis showed some style and flare(s) as mum Serena captured her in a new star-patterned pink outfit, fit for a baby disco, captioning the pic on Instagram: ‘She wanted to dress 80’s.’

It’s not the first time that baby Alexis Jr, named after her father Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, has stolen our hearts with her adorable outfits. Sitting front row at her mum’s first game since coming off maternity leave, Alexis Olympia seemed mesmerised as mum stepped back onto the court. Although Serena and younger sister Venus lost their doubles match to Holland’s Demi Schuurs and Lesley Kerkhove, the Mirror reported that Serena was more concerned with her little girl being present at the match.

‘It’s great. It’s her first match so I’m glad she got to see it,’ Serena gushed at the Cellular Arena. The 39-time Grand Slam winner returned to the game of tennis after suffering complications with blood clots after the birth of her first child. Sharing the experience with her Facebook fans, she wrote: ‘It made me stronger and it made me appreciate women – both women with and without kids – even more. We are powerful!!!.’
