Nearly an entire decade after Paris Hilton‘s Hermes Birkin Bag collection, along with nearly $2 million worth of money and jewels, was stolen from her California home, the heiress has finally found a replacement worthy of the 20 bags the Bling Ringrobbed from her in 2008.
Hilton posted a photo of her dazzling new hot pink, Swarovski crystal-encrusted Privé Porter custom Birkin bag on Instagram Friday, glistening in all of it’s $65,000 glory. The star wrote, “This #Birkin is everything!”
Ten year ago, Hilton, Orlando Bloom, Lindsay Lohan and more stars were the victims of “The Bling Ring,” a group of teenagers who ransacked celebrity homes in lavish California neighborhoods, getting away with nearly $5 million worth of goods before they were caught. And Hilton, who was personally robbed multiple times by the teens, still hasn’t forgotten about the incident.
“This bag definitely makes up for the 20 #birkins the #blingring stole from me,” she posted in another Instagram story.
Covered in 30,000 Swarovski crystals, the bag is definitely worthy of an heiress. A representative from Privé Porter, who customized the lavish tote, tells PeopleStyle that it took 60 hours to hand place every crystal, in addition to the 48 hours that Hermès put into creating the bag beforehand.
Luckily for the star, this bag should be safe, considering that she’s flanked with extra security to protect not only her belongings, but the 20-carat, $2 million engagement ring she received from her fiancé, Chris Zyka, last month.
Hilton told PEOPLE of her new bling, “The ring was so gorgeous and sparkling. I was shaking as I put it on. It is the most beautiful ring that I have ever seen!”
