Cristiano Ronaldo has put a recent text scandal behind him as he celebrates a late Valentine’s Day getaway with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez. Sharing a picture of him and Georgina on the steps of what appears to be a private jet, the pair looked happy and relaxed despite the recent rumours that have surrounded the Real Madrid footballer. ‘Love is in the air ❤️❤️,’ Cristiano captioned the snap which saw Georgina leaning her footballer beau for support. Georgina gave birth to their first child together – his fourth – just two months ago but in January, Cristiano was accused by glamour model Rhian Sugden of bombarding her with ‘late night texts’.
Rhian claims the 32-year-old has sent her a ‘barrage’ of messages since leaving Manchester United in 2009, and claim she was forced to fend off his advances; Rhian claims Ronaldo backed off after her fiance sent him a ‘polite’ warning. Rhian was previously at the centre of a texting scandal with Vernon Kay, which saw the presenter publicly apologise to his wife. After Rhian made her claims, Cristiano and Georgina were seen putting on a united front in Marcbella as they celebrated her 24th birthday, but both looked downcast despite the happy occasion.
As well as baby Alana, born in November, Cristiano is also dad to Cristiano Jnr, seven, and twins Eva and Mateo, born in June last year.
