Chris Brown makes suspicious hand-off to The Game at game

They have both been open about their use of marijuana.
And now a video has emerged which appears to show Chris Brown passing a marijuana cigarette to rapper The Game, as they sit courtside at a star-studded basketball game in Los Angeles.
Brown was one of the many stars who took part in the East Vs. West game at an outdoor court at Adidas in Downtown LA on Friday.
During the contest, theshaderoom posted a clip of the Virginia-born singer hunched over, passing something to The Game, who was also hunched over concealing his activity.

The video quickly drew comments from fans, who began speculating on what the stars were doing.
Representatives for Chris Brown and The Game did not respond to requests for comment by DailyMail.com.
However The Game has made no secret of his use of the drug, which has been legalised for recreation use in California. Indeed he even owns his own marijuana dispensary in Santa Ana, and has his own brand of cannabis - Trees By Game.

The hoops game was one of the many events in the City of Angels amid the NBA's All-Star Weekend, as it pitted teams from the East and West coasts, respectively captained by Snoop Dogg and 2 Chainz, according to the website Hypebeast.
Despite his Virginia roots, the Forever singer, who maintains a residence in greater Los Angeles area, was a key member for Snoop's West Coast squad, which also consisted of The Game, David Banner, Snap Dogg, Mistah F.A.B., Daylyt and Kamaiyah.

Hand-off: The Game reached out to Breezy while on the sideline

Mission accomplished: The covert transaction was caught by an Instagram account

What's that? The Game kept his head down as he sat on the bench

The East Coast's talent roster included Playboi Carti, Freddie Gibbs, Quavo, Waka Flocka Flame, Lil Bibby and French Montana.
In the end, Snoop's West Coast team appeared to have claimed the victory, as the rap veteran was snapped hoisting a trophy in victory at the end of the contest.
Brown looked to be having a good time a week after his name was inadvertently drawn into a political Twitter storm earlier this month over presidential aide Rob Porter's exit (amid an unclear timeline) from White House after accusations of domestic violence were made public.
In initially addressing Porter's ouster, Trump drew flak for what many considered to be a soft stance against Porter, amid jarring photos released of the injuries he allegedly caused to one of his ex-wives.

Ready to go: Brown sported a close-cropped blonde 'do for the athletic contest

Happy face: Brown looked a bit distracted as he tried to play on defense for the West squad

Guard: Brown looked pleased as he was in man-on-man coverage with Lil' Dicky

Leader: Snoop headed up a West Coast squad which also consisted of The Game, David Banner, Snap Dogg, Mistah F.A.B., Daylyt, Kamaiyah and Brown

Thrill of victory: Snoop and Daylyt posed with trophies at the game's conclusion

'We certainly wish him well, it's obviously a very tough time for him ... he did a very good job while he was in the White House. We hope that he will have a wonderful career,' the president said of Porter. 'He says he's innocent, and I think you have to remember that. He said very strongly yesterday that he's innocent, but you'll have to talk to him about that.'
Many on Twitter were fast to point out Trump wasn't so quick to give Brown - who was convicted of felony assault in his 2009 attack on ex-girlfriend Rihanna - the benefit of the doubt when the pop stars rekindled their relationship three years later.
Trump tweeted in October of 2012: 'If @rihanna is dating @chrisbrown again then she has a death wish. A beater is always a beater--just watch!'

Double standard? Donald Trump's strong views on domestic violence seemed to waver after his aide Rob Porter was accused of abusing two ex-wives

Take notice: Political commentators Jake Tapper and Ana Navarro were quick to note the contradiction
