Drake is reportedly set to be closing the year with the Snapchat team at a $4 million (£2.9 million) bash as a surprise performer, according to TMZ. No matter how you are bringing in the new year, nothing could beat the prospect of walking into 2018 to the live vocals of rapper Drake – the ultimate party starter.
This looks like the party to be at. We can only assume that our invitation to Snapchat’s glorious party was lost in the post. Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel has reportedly shut down major parts of L.A. Live for the massive amount, renting out several venues in Microsoft Square, including Microsoft Theater, Katsuya, Lucky Strike, Tom’s Urban, Conga Room, and Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.
If Drizzy is indeed performing this could easily be classed as the party of the year. Insiders claim that the event will be a global celebration of the company, with employees flying in from all over the world.
Although Drake has not yet confirmed that he will be hitting the stage, the company said: ‘We’re excited to celebrate a transformative year as a team. Evan is personally sponsoring the night’s performance.’ Oh, snap.
