The latest Star Wars has been making a lot of money.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi continues to dominate box offices everyone, as it's won the US weekend box office once again – and is now crossing the $800 million mark worldwide.
The Disney-Lucasfilm sequel, which is the eighth episode in the saga, took $99 million over the four-day weekend according to Box Office Mojo, with $27.5 million of that earned on Christmas Day alone.
This means that after just about two weeks of release, The Last Jedi has earned a US domestic total of $396 million, with the worldwide gross standing at $792 million by end of play Monday, with Variety reporting it will have hit the $800 million milestone yesterday (December 26).
Not bad going for such a divisive film then, eh?
Elsewhere in the US box office this week, new entry Jumani: Welcome To The Jungle is Star Wars' closest contender, having earned $55.4 million over the period in its first weekend of release.
The adventure film, which serves as a reboot of the classic '90s film with Robin Williams, stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan.
Another new entry is in at number three, as Pitch Perfect 3 earned $26.4 million, while Hugh Jackman's The Greatest Showman enters the chart at number four with $14.4 million.
The musical drama stars Hugh Jackman as P.T. Barnum, who founded the Barnum & Bailey Circus, and also features Zac Efron, Michelle Williams and Rebecca Ferguson.
The top five is rounded out by last week's second place entry, Ferdinand. The animation about a pacifist bull, which stars John Cena, took $10 million over the Christmas weekend.
