President Buhari appointed 3 dead people into agencies and boards, FFK and other Nigerians react

Earlier today, we reported that late Senator Francis Okpozo’s niece took to Instagram, to cry out over her late uncle’s appointment by President Buhari one year after his death.

However Twitter user @i_am_anomeli, took to the platform to announce that President Buhari reportedly appointed three dead people into agencies and boards, sharing proofs to back up his claim. The other dead people apart from Sen. Okpozoinclude, Rev Christopher Utov who died in March 2017 and Donald Ugbaja who died in November 2017.

@MBuhari appointed Senator Francis Okpozo as Chairman of the Nigerian Press Council. Thing is, Senator Okpozo, a Senator in the Second Republic, died on Dec 16, 2016. President Buhari even issued a statement mourning his death. pic.twitter.com/rTm9lhKM9d

Apparently, there is a 4th dead person on the list of @MBuhari's board appointments. Hon Garba Attahiru who was appointed as Chairman of the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa died on 24/04/2016

Buhari just appointed Donald Ugbaja as a member of the Consumer Protection Council. He also appointed Chris Utov as a member of the Nigeria Institute of Social and Economic Research. Sadly, like Senator Okposu who was appointed Chairman of the Press Council, they are both dead.
