Jamie-Lynn Spears is expecting second baby ten years after teen pregnancy

Jamie-Lynn Spears has confirmed that she is expecting her second child. Nearly ten years after she famously revealed she was pregnant at the age of 16, Britney Spears‘ younger sister shared her exciting news on Sunday morning on Instagram. ‘Looks like we are starting off 2018 with another big milestone…sooo happy to announce that Maddie is FINALLY going to be a big sister (sic),’ she wrote. She added: ‘2018 is going to be filled with many milestones both personally and professionally. I appreciate each of you for your patience and support through it­ all. 2018 has a lot coming, so GET READY.’ The picture she shared was one of her, husband Jamie Watson and daughter Maddie on their wedding day.

Jamie-Lynn, 26, was a Disney teen star, finding fame in her own right as Zoey Brooks on the Nickelodeon teen sitcom Zoey 101, however the news that she was pregnant at the age of 16 halted her career. She married Jamie on 14 March 2014 in a ceremony in New Orleans.
